Christopher Nolan's film "Inception (2012)", which depicts the world of dreams as a unique space-time and opens a new chapter in the expression of dreams, portrays the dreamy world of unconsciousness. However, I can find limitations and contradictions in the expression of the actual dreams and essence of unrealistic structures and forms. I can find David Lynch's movies "Mulholland drive (2001)", which are closer to Freud's psychoanalysis in expressing the actual presentation process of dreams Through comparative analysis, I try to analyze the interpretation and context of the dream mentioned by Freud. The film "Inception" can be appreciated in terms of space time and rich imagination created from the point of view of science fiction movies, but it shows that logical reasonability is weak in view of applying the essence of dream. On the other hand, the film "Mulholland Drive" describes the illogical, confusing and unhappy feeling of unconsciousness by giving logic and order based on the interpretation of Freud's psychoanalytic dreams, is. In this way, it is possible to portray more realistic scenes of dreams only through the portrayal of dreams and unconsciousness based on Freud's psychoanalytic viewpoint.

For the past hundred years, since many films have only been focusing on expressing suppressed desire and obsession, there have been few films in which unconsciousness desire is expressed and pursuing dream comes true as Freud says. Well known for a convoluted and dreamy structure and plot, David Lynch successfully represents a real dream sequence with his own way of image presentation form in his representative film "Mulholland Drive (2001)". In this study, I attempt to analyze how he expresses the realistic dream sequence with a strange film structure based on Freud's psychoanalysis. In general, dream world is known as completely visual matter, but the feeling of things is more important for making a realistic dream and it is the main reason that we can have more realistic experiences in a dream.

The purpose of this study is to find out how much research has been done on dream analysis based on S.Freud's psychoanalytic theory, and to suggest the necessity of dream research and follow-up research on dream research. The research method was based on analysis of domestic academic journals from 2019 to 2023, a study on S.Freud's dream analysis. Among them, the data were collected and organized through a keyword classification process from the Research Information Service (RISS) and the Korean Journal Citation Index (KCI). The classification categories were psychoanalysis, domestic academic journals, dream analysis, dream interpretation, dream analysis research trends, and dream research trends. In particular, psychoanalysis, dream analysis, domestic academic journals, and research trends were searched. The conclusion was drawn as follows. First, studies on research trends on dream analysis in domestic academic journals did not occupy a large proportion. Second, the ratio of research trends centered on dream analysis keywords was also significantly low. Third, the use and frequency of dream analysis was low. Fourth, research on Korean testing tools based on dream analysis is needed.

In the film Inception, we can see that the human dream world is depicted using Freud's psychoanalytical subconscious theory. Based on Freud 's subconscious theory, this paper explores the expression of the dream world and the subconscious in the film and examines the meaning expression of the film through it. The personality in Marx's philosophy can be defined as an 'activity on the basis of social relations'. This concept suggests two significant implications to the difference of sexual identity between the sexes. First, according to Marx's philosophy the personality is partially influenced by the ideology. Freud's theory of Oedipus is founded on the patriarchal culture including the ideology. Freud's concept of personality ignores that aspect. That's why Freud's theory of Oedipus complex can be criticized. This is because of his ignorance of the affecting power of male chauvinism in patriarchal society. Second, more importantly and definitely, the difference of activity, especially labor, that is, male's social labor and female's private labor, has influenced the difference of the personality of both sexes.

The study focused on Jean-Luc Godard's about the relationship between visual effects and psychoanalysis of the film. The human have constantly pursued the beauty through the history. Especially, the pursuit for the beauty of the human's body means that the subject is at one with the object pursued by Ire subject, which so called as the most active behavior of searching far the beauty. However it sometimes shows that human have tried excessively to search for the beauty of the human's ideal body in the history, and to the degree of hurting the body. For example, the corset was eagerly worn by women with the hope of a satisfied silhouette because the slender waist and the busty bosom were demanded as the woman's ideal body at 18C and 19C(the age of Victorian). The purpose of this study was to investigate the corset fashion in 18C, 19C, one of the most aggressive fashions out of the unreasonable fads, using narcissism that Freud mentioned as inside energy called libido. And the reason why to use the theory of narcissism in this study was that fashion as social outcome is thought to be influenced by the environment but the wearing behavior is considered totally private, it is particularly when focused on the excess ive energy, and the scope was limited to the investigation into the source of the energy binding the own body to hurting. The analysis about this craze of a corset with the view of the theory of narcissism as follows. First, women could mold the ideal concretely in surroundings that ideal woman was constituted just to focus on the appearance, moreover, the mother reinforced the narcissism of their offsprings. Also, the society demanded women to be chaste, and did not allowed for women to reveal libido to the external. As a result of this, libido should be ended up concentrating on ego. With this process, it to be difficult for 'ideal ego' impossible for attainment to transfer to compromising product, ego ideal. That is, women did not think entirely to be out of the question to reach the ideal ego, which meant the energy to tight waists was given women.

The remarkable tendency shown in recent fashion can be the customer's passiveness, not only their feeling desire for product but also needs for product seem to be made by mass media. So this condition can be thought as the currency of energy for being subjected. The public of fashion eagerly want the fashion style to be suggested for following it. The late Freudian, Erich Fromm said that the reason why individuals demand themselves to follow the masses' move could be explained as the hope against the fear of feeling not being from staying isolated and having no direction. Escaping from this fear, individuals ought to believe the necessity of participation in public. The fashion is willing to be defined as the united condition by individuals in the hope being consolidate in masses against being solitude. Nowadays, people can share many informations with internet, the fastest medium, which makes the individuals impatient not to be isolate, thinking other people must contact the information and should feel pressure of taking part in the currency. Even though the style is considered to be awkward for following it, it's frequent exposure on mass media by celebrities wearing the style could soon make a fashion. This is able to show that many customers should incline to consider less about their style or taste, whereas lean to pursue after masses' authority. Recent consumers have propensity to avoid feeling concern about others' criticism, on the other side, they try to chase of the fashion as masses' choice for feeling peaceful. The reason why people recognize not to have clothing to wear in spite of a large wardrobe, it must reflect their needs promoted from outside influence of introducing for new styles.

Contemporary visual art is characterized by a systematic study of the irrational. This trend was largely a reaction to the rationality of Modernism, which felt out of fair in the post-industrial society. This new trend against Modernism is represented by Deconstructivism. However, the appeal of irrationality has a deeper root. In this article, we examine the historical roots0 of this interest in the irrational. In doing so, we focus tour attention on the effect of Freud's theory of the subconscious on the growth of Surrealism in modern art. In particular, we explore how this same tendency is reflected in modern. floral art & design. By doing so, we are able to relate the developments in floral art & design with the developments in other areas of modern art. Finally, we show that it is possible for floral art & design to be in the vanguard of contemporary art because of its unique characteristics.
