GA를 이용한 전류 앰프의 파라미터 최적화 (The Parameter Optimization of Current Amplifier with GA)

  • The current type amplifier is the device that is used for an actuator as the motor's torque controller. However, it is too difficult to select the parameter value that has the desired output because the current type amplifier's transfer function is too complex. This study concern about the design of the current type amplifier with the desired output. From the modeled transfer function of the current type amplifier, the optimal parameter values of the transfer function can be selected in order to have the desired output using the Real Coded Genetic Algorithm(RCGA). The real circuit is made with the selected parameter value. The step response of the real circuit is in good agreement with the desired step response.

  • Recently technologies have created new principle and theory but the PID control system remains its popularity as the PID controller contains simple structure, including maintenance and parameter adjustment being so simple. The adjust parameter of PID to achieve best response of process which be using time and may be error if user are not expert. Nowadays this problem was solved by develop PID controller which can analysis and auto tune parameter are appropriate with process which used principle of Ziegler ? Nichols but it are expensive and designed for each task. Thus, this paper proposes auto tune PID based on FPGA by use principle of Dahlin which maximum overshoot not over 5 percentages and do not fine tuning again. It have performance in control process are neighboring controller in industrial and simple to use. Especially, It can use various process and low price. The auto tune digital PID processor embedded on chip FPGA XC2S50-5tq-144. The digital PID processor was designed by fundamental PID equation which architectures including multiplier, adder, subtracter and some other logic gate. It was verified by control model of temperature control system.

  • This paper formulates the parameter estimation of cornering behavior of a vehicle. Especially some vehicle parameter is very important on stability control of chassis by ECU, but some parameter is so hard to get by sensor which parameter is included the nonlinear characteristic of tire cornering force. So we need to deduce that parameter from used signal and numerical method. In this study, we propose a estimation method and present the simulation by parameter estimation technique.

Analysis of circular plates on two - parameter elastic foundation

  • In this study, circular plates subjected to general type of loads and supported on a two-parameter elastic foundation are analysed. The stiffness, elastic bedding and soil shear effect matrices of a fully compatible ring sector plate element, developed by Saygun (1974), are obtained numerically assuming variable thickness of the element. Ring sector soil finite element is also defined to determine the deflection of the soil surface outside the domain of the plate in order to establish the interaction between the plate and the soil. According to Vallabhan and Das (1991) the elastic bedding (C) and shear parameters ($C_T$) of the foundation are expressed depending on the elastic constants ($E_s$, $V_s$) and the thickness of compressible soil layer ($H_s$) and they are calculated with a suitable iterative procedure. Using ring sector elements presented in this paper, permits the generalization of the loading and the boundary conditions of the soil outside the plate.

조작자 근육 활성도 기반 양팔 로봇의 임피던스 제어 파라미터 갱신 방법 (Impedance Parameter Update Method for Dual-arm Manipulator based on Operator's Muscle Activation)

  • The paper presents how to update impedance control parameters for dual-arm manipulators using EMG signals and motions of the operator. Since the hand motions of the dual-arm are modeled to be the mass-spring-damper system in this paper, the impedance parameter update method is an important issue to reflect the operator's force. However, task space inertia to be used as the mass parameter goes to infinity if the manipulator approaches a kinematic singularity. To alleviate this issue, the impedance (stiffness and damping) parameters are divided with a diagonal element of the task space inertia. Also, the stiffness and damping matrices are updated using the normalized EMG signals captured from the operator's forearm. Through this process, the motion of the dual-arm manipulator is more stabilized even though it approaches the kinematic singularity.

  • This paper presents design parameter calculation methodology and its realization to construction for the 10/350${\mu}s$ lightning impulse current generator(ICG) modelled as double exponential function waveform with characteristic parameters ${\alpha},{\beta}$. Matlab internal function, "fzero" was applied to find ${\lambda}={\alpha}/{\beta}$ which is solution of nonlinear equation linearly related with two wave parameter $T_1$ and $T_2$. The calculation results for 10/350${\mu}s$ lightning impulse current show very good accuracy with error less 0.03%. Two type of 10/350${\mu}s$ ICGs based on the calculated design circuit parameters were fabricated by considering the load variation. One is applicable to the MOV based Surge protective device(SPD) for less 15 kA and the other is to test small resistive devices such as spark gap arrester and bonding device with maximum current capability 30 kA. The tested waveforms show error within 10% in comparison with the designed estimation and the waveform tolerance recommended in the IEC 61643-1 and IEC 60060-1.

Modified Materka model를 이용한 GaN MODFET 대신호 모델링 ((GaN MODFET Large Signal modeling using Modified Materka model))

  • Modified Materka-Kacprzak 대신호 MODFET(modulation-doped field-effect transistor) model을 사용하여 GaN(gallium nitride) MODFET 대신호 모델링을 수행하였다. Dambrine(3)이 제안한 방법에 따라 45㎒에서 40㎒의 주파수 범위에 걸쳐 S-parameter 및 DC특성을 측정하였으며, 측정결과를 토대로 cold FET 방법[4]에 의해 측정된 기생성분들을 de-embedding 함으로써 소신호 파라미터를 추출하였고, 추출된 소신호 파라미터는 함수를 사용하여 측정결과를 재현하는 맞춤함수 모델의 일종인 modified Materka 모델을 사용하여 모델링하였다. 수행된 대신호 모델링을 검증하기 위하여 모델링된 GaN MODFET의 DC 및 S-파라미터, 전력특성을 측정값과 각각 비교해 보았을 때 비교적 일치하고 있음을 보여서 GaN 대신호 모델링을 검증하였으며, modified Materka 모델이 GaN MODFET 대신호 모델링에 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 보였다.

DBPAS를 이용한 CaWO4 결정의 결함특성 (The Defect Characterization of CaWO4 Crystals by Doppler Broadening Positron Annihilation Spectroscopy)

  • DBPAS has been used to characterize atomic level defect structures in materials. In this investigation the numerical analysis of the Doppler spectra was restricted to the determination of the shape parameter, S, defined as the ratio between the total amount of counts in a central portion of the spectrum and the total amount of counts. As samples were exposed by X-ray increasing from 3, 6, and 9 Gy with 6 MV, and 10 MV each and also by E-beam increasing the energies with 6 MeV, 9 MeV, 12 MeV, and 20 MeV. The S-parameter values were increased as increasing the exposed time and the energies. The S-parameters of the large and small size grains in $CaWO_4$ were measured. The S-parameter of the small size grains in $CaWO_4$ was resulted in larger values.

Dynamic instability analysis for S-FGM plates embedded in Pasternak elastic medium using the modified couple stress theory

  • The modified couple stress-based third-order shear deformation theory is presented for sigmoid functionally graded materials (S-FGM) plates. The advantage of the modified couple stress theory is the involvement of only one material length scale parameter which causes to create symmetric couple stress tensor and to use it more easily. Analytical solution for dynamic instability analysis of S-FGM plates on elastic medium is investigated. The present models contain two-constituent material variation through the plate thickness. The equations of motion are derived from Hamilton's energy principle. The governing equations are then written in the form of Mathieu-Hill equations and then Bolotin's method is employed to determine the instability regions. The boundaries of the instability regions are represented in the dynamic load and excitation frequency plane. It is assumed that the elastic medium is modeled as Pasternak elastic medium. The effects of static and dynamic load, power law index, material length scale parameter, side-to-thickness ratio, and elastic medium parameter have been discussed. The width of the instability region for an S-FGM plate decreases with the decrease of material length scale parameter. The study is relevant to the dynamic simulation of micro structures embedded in elastic medium subjected to intense compression and tension.
