The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of mergers and acquisitions of domestic IT companies on strategic aspects of internal capacity enhancement. Empirical analysis applied to this study analyzed the business performance in the market through the merger of Daum Communications and Kakao Group. After Daum pursued the merger with Kakao, it showed that the platform business of kakao is expanding to the domain of the existing portal site. The merger was completed, and the total value of the stocks went up to the highest level, but soon its value declined. The merger shows that the growth potential of the enterprise is temporarily declining, which seems to be the internal cost of the merger. Even in the case of profitability, the merger did not show positive results. In the case of stability, the expectation due to the merger was reflected and slightly increased. The following two companies were interested in the kakao when they viewed the merger through a chronological analysis. However, after the merger, the interest of the next kakao was similar. This is seen as a result of the expansion of kakao's diverse platform business rather than the following search sites. From the results of this study, it is suggested that domestic IT companies should approach by analyzing the strategic factors that generate synergy when pursuing M & A to strengthen their resources or capabilities.

In this paper, we first review LDPC codes in general and a belief propagation algorithm that works in logarithm domain. LDPC codes, which is chosen 802.11n for wireless local access network(WLAN) standard, require a large number of computation due to large size of coded block and iteration. Therefore, we presented three kinds of low computational algorithms for LDPC codes. First, sequential decoding with partial group is proposed. It has the same H/W complexity, and fewer number of iterations are required with the same performance in comparison with conventional decoder algorithm. Secondly, we have apply early stop algorithm. This method reduces number of unnecessary iterations. Third, early detection method for reducing the computational complexity is proposed. Using a confidence criterion, some bit nodes and check node edges are detected early on during decoding. Through the simulation, we knew that the iteration number are reduced by half using subset algorithm and early stop algorithm is reduced more than one iteration and computational complexity of early detected method is about 30% offs in case of check node update, 94% offs in case of check node update compared to conventional scheme. The LDPC decoder have been implemented in Xilinx System Generator and targeted to a Xilinx Virtx5-xc5vlx155t FPGA. When three algorithms are used, amount of device is about 45% off and the decoding speed is about two times faster than convectional scheme.
Poly(ether-block-amide)(PEBA, $PEBAX^{TM}$) resin is a thermoplastic elastomer combining linear chains of hard-rigid polyamide block interspaced soft-flexible polyether block. It was believed that the hard polyamide block provides the mechanical strength and permeation selectivity, whereas gas transport occurs primarily through the soft polyether block. The objective of this work was to investigate the gas permeation properties of carbon dioxide and methane for $PEBAX^{TM}$-1657 membrane and compare with those obtained for other grade of $PEBAX^{TM}$, $PEBAX^{TM}$-2533. And the organic/inorganic hybrid membranes were prepared using $PEBAX^{TM}$ and TEOS(tetraethoxysilane) by sol-gel process, and gas permeation properties were studied. $PEBAX^{TM}$-2533 membrane exhibited higher gas permeability coefficients than $PEBAX^{TM}$-1657 membrane. This was explained by the increase of chain mobility. The permeability coefficients for $PEBAX^{TM}$/TEOS hybrid membranes were higher than pure $PEBAX^{TM}$ membranes. This results were explained by the reduction of crystallinity of polyamide block by the introduction of TEOS. Ideal separation factor of hybrid membranes does not change much. This might be due to the increase of solubility selectivity.

Mutation in HNF1B, the hepatocyte nuclear factor-$1{\beta}$ (HNF-$1{\beta}$) gene, results in maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY) 5, which is characterized by gradual impairment of insulin secretion. However, the functional role of HNF-$1{\beta}$ in insulin secretion and glucose metabolism is not fully understood. We identified a family with early-onset diabetes that fulfilled the criteria of MODY. Sanger sequencing revealed that a heterozygous P159L (CCT to CTT in codon 159 in the DNA-binding domain) mutation in HNF1B was segregated according to the affected status. To investigate the functional consequences of this HNF1B mutation, we generated a P159L HNF1B construct. The wild-type and mutant HNF1B constructs were transfected into COS-7 cells in the presence of the promoter sequence of human glucose transporter type 2 (GLUT2). The luciferase reporter assay revealed that P159L HNF1B had decreased transcriptional activity compared to wild-type (p < 0.05). Electrophoretic mobility shift assay showed reduced DNA binding activity of P159L HNF1B. In the MIN6 pancreatic ${\beta}$-cell line, overexpression of the P159L mutant was significantly associated with decreased mRNA levels of GLUT2 compared to wild-type (p < 0.05). However, INS expression was not different between the wild-type and mutant HNF1B constructs. These findings suggests that the impaired insulin secretion in this family with the P159L HNF1B mutation may be related to altered GLUT2 expression in ${\beta}$-cells rather than decreased insulin gene expression. In conclusion, we have identified a Korean family with an HNF1B mutation and characterized its effect on the pathogenesis of diabetes.
In this research we surveyed level of textual recognition and of practice by nursing students regarding patient privacy protection. The subjects were 383 nursing students. The questionnaire developed by Lee and Park (2005) were modified and used. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. The result shows that about 96.1% of the subjects received education on patient privacy protection in school or hospital but 48.0% of all received education of 10 minutes or less. Average score for recognition of patient privacy protection was a 4.13 but average practice score was 3.84. Among all areas, communication tasks showed the highest scores for both recognition and practice. There are differences according to grade in school and age of the subject, and experience with clinical practice, existence of regular educational program embedded in clinical practice at hospitals, and the length of each educational session. For both total score and score for every domain, there was a correlation between recognition and practice. The conclusions drawn from this research will help colleges of nursing and hospitals to design and develop contents of educational programs for nursing students.
The purpose of this study was to reveal association between internal marketing and customer orientation. Internal marketing was composed of empowerment, educational training, reward system, internal communication and management support. We thought these factors affect to the consumer orientation. For this study, 191 dental hygienists in Busan, Ulsan and Kyungnam are participated in this study. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS 18.0 program. In conclusion, we obtained the next results. First, the mean of internal marketing behavior was 3.22 out of 5. In terms of sub-domain, educational training (3.88) is the highest, followed by empowerment (3.35), internal communication (3.10), management support (3.05) and reward system (2.79). Second, the internal marketing factors of internal communication, reward system orientation, management support, empowerment, and educational training had positive correlations with customer orientation (r=0.189~0.381). Third, the influencing factor in customer orientation were educational training (${\beta}=0.277$) and empowerment (${\beta}=0.276$), adjusted $R^2=0.202$. As dental patients' desire to medical service quality becomes diversified, the analysis result is considered to help the future dental service management.
20s country employment rate to 57% in the last four years, is staying low. College graduates in the 25-29 year old crowd real unemployment rate is over 20% youth unemployment, the analysis problem is serious enough. Accordingly, activation of Cooperation, which addresses the issues of these countries now being recognized as the primary means, and in the future, government policy and national indicators to be given more attention and support seems clear. Government from 2012 'Cooperation Development Project leading universities' (LINC: Leaders in INdustry-university Cooperation) by promoting companies that require manpower, actual research and development and technology transfer to enable the University - Industry - between research institutions based on organic correlated with local universities and industrial growth model for the creation of a variety of leading industry cooperation. has to diffuse. This background, the aim of this study at the University of excavation site close-type talent. Fostering curriculum development are essential to the field on the form will close. In this study, major department (Department) conducted by major research based on the results of the curriculum needs to spread the field for Cooperation closely analyze the curriculum and Annual type, domain-specific promotion measures proposed.

Recently, according as the importance of GIS(geography information system) database security is embossed, much researches had been achieved about GIS network security. But most such researches are weak against sourceful illegal reproductions and distributions of GIS vector data map. In this paper, we proposed an efficient layer unit contents based partial encryption technique in the vector map compression domain to prevent illegal distributions and unauthorized accesses. This method achieves a partial encryption about each central coordinate and directional parameters of a MCA(minimum coding attribute) that is created at the vector map compression processing in the vector space. First, the position encryption is applied as permutating randomly the center coordinate of each record that is minimum unit of vector map shape. And second, the direction encryption that changing shapes of vector map topography is applied as encrypting the direction of vertices's coordinates of each record. In experimental results, we confirmed that our proposed method can encipher the large volumed vector map data effectively in low computational complexity. Also, we could minimize the decline of compression efficiency that occurred by conventional contents based encryption schemes using AES or DES algorithms.

This paper discusses English Hedges or Hedging Expressions on the basis of their morphosyntactic-pragramatic properties within the perspective of sociolinguistics. The term, 'Hedges' for the past decades since Lakoff(1973), has received little attention from the English grammar circles such as morphosyntax and the generative grammar theories. This paper presents a more comprehensive approach to the identification, distributions, functions, and the morphosyntactic properties of English Hedges. The earlier research on English Hedges in the 70's show that hedges are metalinguistic or mitadiscourse expressions which constitute a means for executing Politeness strategy in pragmatics. Nonetheless, research from the interface of syntactic-pragmatics has been scarce. This article suggests a more complex body of English hedges that have not been extensively discussed in the literature. Additionally, their configurational domain is to be proposed as part of the PolP with [±hedged] above CP+ (or CP beyond). The ramifications of the current study are suggested in terms of comparative linguistics, EFL/ESL studies of English for global communication, and pragmatics-sensitive machine translation studies in the forseeable future.
Effects of residual flux density M$_{res}$ and number of inspection on the detection voltage and flux density B of the gas pipeline were investigated in MFL inspection, which is widely used for the non-destructive inspection in a gas pipeline. A simulation equipment composed of the magnetizer and iron ring attached on an aluminum disc was constructed instead of a huge gas pipeline facility. With this system. the iron ring could be perfectly demagnetized and signals from the bolt screw stuck on the disc could be clearly detected so that the effects of M$_{res}$S and the inspection number on the detection voltage and B of iron ring were effectively investigated. With increasing the number of inspection, M$_{res}$, B of the iron ring and the detection voltage decreased and then kept at constant values while final M$_{res}$ increased with increasing initial M$_{res}$. If inspection condition were kept unchanged, the detection voltage was proportional to the last M$_{res}$ of the iron ring instead of B. This was probably due to magnetic hysteresis of the iron ring inherited from magnetic domain so that consideration on the magnetic hysteresis was inevitable in the analysis of MFL signal from defects of a gas pipeline. A new inspection scheme using the magnetizer with reversed magnetization in the subsequent inspection was proposed from the result that a high detection voltage could be obtained in the first inspection of gas pipeline with positive M$_{res}$.
