SHS 공정에 의한 TiN 분말합성에 관한 연구 (Study on Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis of TiN Powder)

  • Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis of Ti+N system has been investigated using the cylindrical high pressure reactor. The nitrogen pressure was varied from 40 to 80 atmosphere and TiNx(x=0.55) powder produced by SHS process was used as a diluent in order to control the reaction. Both the velocity of surface reaction and the ratio of TiN synthesis increased with increasing the nitrogen pressure. As the amount of diluent increases the degree of conversion to titanium nitride increases. Homogenious TiN powder was obtained in the composition 50Ti+50TiN0.94(diluent)

  • When impeller machining needs to be machined over a length in order to avoid interference with neighboring surfaces between material and tool, there are no databases about cutting condition according to tool slenderness ratio. So selection and machining of cutting condition depends on expert's experience. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is deciding cutting condition in roughing and finishing process of impeller according to slenderness ratio of AL7075's end-mill that is the most commonly used for impeller. We have tested for about relation between Slenderness ration and fluctuation width of the cutting force, surface roughness and depth of cut ratio to observe cutting characteristics according to slenderness ratio. The experiments of cutting characteristics and processing criteria are compared with AL5052 which is existing information.

  • We prepared ZnS thin films via chemical bath deposition (CBD) in an aqueous solution of ammonia ($NH_3$) and hydrazine ($N_2H_4$). The composition ratio of hydrazine used was 0%, 17%, 22%, 29%, or 50%. We investigated the effects of hydrazine and ammonia on the growth, and the structural and optical properties of ZnS in terms of surface uniformity, voids, and grain size. We found that during the growth of ZnS films, hydrazine was very effective for improving the surface morphology and layer uniformity with fast layer formation, while it had no effect on the bandgap energy, $E_g$.

브래드포드법칙과 그 응용에 관한 고찰

  • Today's complicated society with a rapid change needs more objective and accurate data for the better managerical decisions and the prospect for the future other than the intuition or subjective experience by men themselves. These data can't be extracted without the analysis of actual data by a n.0, pplying any of mathematical techniques. One of these mathematical techniques, called bibliometrics has been newly developed in the field of library and information science to extract the objective data for the better services through the library operations. The Beadford's Law, one important law in bibliometrics has provided rather scientific and objective basis on the more valid building of library collection within the constraints of budget. The purpose of the study is to investigate the theory of the Bradford's Law, to clarify the possible areas of its a n.0, pplication, and to discern some problems in doing so. The results of the study can be summarized as follows; (1) There is certain difference between the graphical formulation and verbal formulation of Bradford's Law. But this law is very useful for the field of library and information science, owing to the flexibility of the a n.0, pplication of the law in the field. (2) The minimal nucleus can consist of a single periodical only if j, the number of relevant papers in the most productive journals is greater than Z/2. On the other hand, if j is less than or equal to Z/2, then the minimal nucleus will consist of 2 or more periodicals. (3) It is possible to design the most compact selection of scientific periodicals covering any specified percentage P among the total periodicals by using the formulation, log n=Plog N+(1-P)logs, or Nlog N/s=P center dot N log N/s. (4) If there is need to provide all the articles needed by users the given budget, the library can purchase the proper number of journals, by using the formulation, f center dot AN=An+PN (log N/s-logn/s). (5) In the building of the library collection based on the decreasing ratio of use, the library can subscribe to the proper number of journals according to the satisfactory degree of the need, by using the formulation, f=Nu+uNlogN/S-uNlogn/s / nNlogN/s = 1+logN/m /logN/s (6) If the order of valuable journals is decided according to the frequency of being cited, the order can't always represent the value. (7) The evaluation criteria for the journals with high value, but less cited should be made a further study.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력선 채널에서 DS/SSMA BPSK 통신 시스템의 전형 및 하드리미팅 상관 수신기의 성능을 분석하였다. Chan의 잡음 모델을 이용하여 전력전에서 발생하는 강한 임펄스성 잡음을 배경 잡음에 대한 임펄스성 잡음의 전력 스펙트럼 밀도비 $(N_1/N_b)$, 데이터 폭에 대한 임펄스성 잡음 폭의 비(f). 임펄스성 잡음의 발생주기에 대한 임펄스 잡음 폭 (DF)등의 파라미터로 모델링하여, 각 파라미터 변화에 따른 시스템의 성능을 분석하고, 다중접속 간섭 잡음을 가우시안 근사화하여 각 수신기의 다중접속 능력을 평가하였다. 분석 결과 $N_1/N_b$가 작고 f가 1에 가까운 경우 전형 상관 수신기의 성능이 더 우수했으나, $N_1/N_b$가 증가함에 따라 하드리미팅 상관 수신기가 비트 오율 및 다중 접속 능력면에서 전형 상관 수신기보다 더 우수한 성능을 나타냈다.

GaN HEMT를 이용한 스위칭 모드 전력증폭기 설계 및 전력증폭기의 Ruggedness 특성 분석 (The Design of Switching-Mode Power Amplifier and Ruggedness Characteristics Analysis of Power Amplifier Using GaN HEMT)

  • 본 논문은 GaN(Gallium Nitride) HEMT(High Electron Mobility Transistor)를 이용한 S대역 레이더용 전력증폭기 설계하고 제작된 스위칭 모드 전력증폭기의 ruggedness 시험에 관련된 내용을 기술하였다. 고효율 특성을 위해 전력증폭기를 Class-F로 설계하였으며, 측정을 위한 입력 신호는 $100{\mu}s$의 pulse width 및 10 %의 duty cycle인 pulse 신호를 사용하였다. 제작된 Class-F 전력증폭기의 중심 주파수에서 측정한 결과, 8.7 dB의 전력 이득과 42 dBm의 출력 전력, 54.2 %의 전력 부가 효율(PAE) 및 62.6 %의 드레인 효율이 측정되었다. 또한, 전력증폭기의 신뢰성 시험의 일환으로 Ruggedness 시험을 위한 실험 구성을 제안하고, VSWR(Voltage Standing Wave Ratio)을 변화시켜 출력 전력과 효율을 측정하였다. 설계된 전력증폭기가 VSWR 변화에 따라 출력 전력 32.6~41.1 dBm까지 변화하고, 드레인 효율은 23.4~63 %까지 변하는 특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

고온에서 Schottky Barier SOI nMOS 및 pMOS의 전류-전압 특성 (Current-Voltage Characteristics of Schottky Barrier SOI nMOS and pMOS at Elevated Temperature)

  • 본 연구에서는 고온에서 Schottky barrier SOI nMOS 및 pMOS의 전류-전압 특성을 분석하기 위해서 Er 실리사이드를 갖는 SB-SOI nMOSFET와 Pt 실리사이드를 갖는 SB-SOI pMOSFET를 제작하였다. 게이트 전압에 따른 SB-SOI nMOS 및 pMOS의 주된 전류 전도 메카니즘을 온도에 따른 드레인 전류 측정 결과를 이용하여 설명하였다. 낮은 게이트 전압에서는 온도에 따라 열전자 방출 및 터널링 전류가 증가하므로 드레인 전류가 증가하고 높은 게이트 전압에서는 드리프트 전류가 감소하여 드레인 전류가 감소하였다. 고온에서 ON 전류가 증가하지만 드레인으로부터 채널영역으로의 터널링 전류 증가로 OFF 전류가 더 많이 증가하게 되므로 ON/OFF 전류비는 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 SOI 소자나 bulk MOSFET 소자에 비해 SB-SOI nMOS 및 pMOS의 온도에 따른 문턱전압 변화는 작았고 subthreshold swing은 증가하였다.

Backfat Characteristics of Barrows and Gilts Fed on Tuna Oil Supplemented Diets during the Growing-finishing Periods

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of supplementing tuna oil to diets of growing-finishing pigs (barrows and gilts) on backfat characteristics when slaughtered at different weights. Four hundred and eighty crossbred (Large White$\times$Landrace$\times$Duroc) pigs averaging 30 kg were allotted to 12 treatment combinations (40 pigs/treatment combination) in a completely randomized design with a $2{\times}2{\times}3$ factorial arrangement of treatments. The treatments were: dietary tuna oil supplementation (0 and 2%); sex (barrows and gilts); and slaughter weight (90, 100 and 110 kg). As pigs reached their slaughter weight, they were randomly selected (8 pigs/treatment combination; 96 pigs in total) and slaughtered. Backfat colour, hardness and fatty acid profile were assessed. There were significant (p<0.05) differences in colour (L* and a* values) among treatments. Backfat of the control group was harder than on the tuna oil (p<0.001) and that of barrows was harder than of gilts (p<0.05). In addition, the thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) values of fat from the tuna oil group stored for 3 days were higher (p<0.001) than the control group. The TBARS values of gilts tended to be higher than those of barrows and increased with increasing slaughter weight in the tuna oil group. The cholesterol and triglyceride levels were not affected by diet and sex but the triglyceride level increased with increasing slaughter weight (p<0.01). The tuna oil group had higher polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) content, ratio of PUFA: saturated fatty acid (SFA) and total n-3 fatty acids but lower monounsaturated fatty acids content and n-6:n-3 fatty acids than the control group (p<0.01). Gilts had higher PUFA and n-6 fatty acids in backfat than barrows (p<0.05). The backfat from both 90 and 100 kg slaughter-weight groups had a lower ratio of n6:n3 fatty acid than the 110 kg slaughter-weight group (p<0.05). However, this was more pronounced in the tuna oil group. The PUFA: SFA was also increased while the n-6:n-3 ratio tended to reach the recommended levels for healthy eating in human beings of <5. However, due to oxidative susceptibility, barrows should not be slaughtered at more than 100 kg for the meat to be acceptable to consumers.

고정익항공기용 외부연료탱크 및 파일런 피로 해석 (Fatigue Analysis of External Fuel Tank and Pylon for Fixed Wing Aircraft)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 고정익항공기 개발의 일환으로 고정익항공기용 외부 연료탱크와 파일런에 대한 피로해석을 수행하였다. 구조해석을 통해 외부 연료탱크와 파일런의 피로해석 부위들을 선정하고, 선정된 부위들에서 단위하중에 대한 전달함수를 구축하였다. 연속 하중 프로파일에 대해서 각 프로파일 하중과 전달함수와의 내적을 통해 선정 부위에서의 응력 성분을 계산한 후, Von Mises 등가응력을 사용하여 각 프로파일의 대표응력(Representative Stress)을 계산하였다. 그리고, 구축된 대표 응력 그룹에 Rainflow Counting 기법을 사용하여 초기의 방대한 하중 프로파일로 부터 축소된 개별 프로파일과 그에 대한 진폭 및 평균값을 추출한 후, MMPDS(Metallic Materials Properties Development and Standardization)의 S-N 선도를 적용하여 수명싸이클을 계산하였다. 만약, 추출된 개별 프로파일들의 Stress Ratio가 선정된 S-N 선도의 Stress Ratio 범위를 벗어나는 경우 Modified Goodman 선도로부터 유도된 식을 사용하여 Stress Ratio가 해당 S-N 선도에서 요구하는 범위를 만족하도록 변환하는 과정을 거쳤다. 그리고, Miner's Rule에 의해 계산된 각 프로파일들의 손상값들을 더하여 선정 부위에서의 수명을 평가하였다. 최종적으로 수명평가를 위해 선정된 외부연료탱크와 파일런의 관심 부위에서 요구 수명을 모두 만족하는 것으로 평가되었다.

공주지역 여대생의 지방 섭취 양상 조사 (Patterns of Dietary Fat Intake by University Female Students Living in Kongju City: Comparisons among Groups Divided by Living Arrangement)

  • This study was aimed at examining the pattern of dietary fat intake of 120 university female students living in Kongju city in order to provide baseic data for establishing the dietary grideline of desirable fat intake. The subjects were divided into three groups according to living arrangenment ; family home(FH), or dormitory(DM), or self-boarding house(SB). Fat consumption of subjects was surveyed by two-day food records, and profiles of fatty acid and cholesterol taken were calculated based upon the data reported their contents of foods. The result was that mean daily fat intake was 42$\pm$2g for FH, 48$\pm$4g for DM and 41$\pm$3g for SB. The calorie intake by fat was 20.8, 21.5, and 20.4% respectively. The ratio of P/M/S was 1.3/1.7/1 for FH, 1.3/1.6/1 for DM and 1, .5/1.5/1 for SB. And the ratio of n-6/n-3 fatty acid was 5.2/1 for FH, 8.3/1 for DM and 7.2/1 for SB. Daily cholesterol intake was 208$\pm$20mg for FH, 223$\pm$29mg for DM and 251$\pm$27mg for SB. In addition, intake of n-3 fatty acid was 1.2$\pm$0.2g for FH, 0.9$\pm$0.1g for DM and 1.2$\pm$0.2g for DB. Considering the food source of fatty acids, saturated fatty acid and monounsaturated fatty acid were taken primarily from animal foods, especially milk and milk products, and n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid was taken from vegetable oils and fats. As a major source of n-3 fatty acid, linolenic acid was obtained through vegetable oils and fats, and eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid were provided by fishes and their products. There patterns of fatty acid intakes did not differ according to living arrangement. The above results showed that intakes of fat and cholesterol, and ratios of P/M/S and n-6/n-3 fatty acid were overall desirable in all groups. However, intake of n-3 fatty acid was low in all groups. Therefore, consumption of perilla oil, legumes and fishes as a source of n-3 fatty acid should be increased by substituting other food source which provide fats and oils because calorie intake by fat was enough in these subject.
