Role Based Smart Health Service Access Control in F2C environment (F2C 환경에서 역할 기반 스마트 헬스 서비스 접근 제어)

  • The development of cloud services and IoT technology has radically changed the cloud environment, and has evolved into a new concept called fog computing and F2C (fog-to-cloud). However, as heterogeneous cloud/fog layers are integrated, problems of access control and security management for end users and edge devices may occur. In this paper, an F2C-based IoT smart health monitoring system architecture was designed to operate a medical information service that can quickly respond to medical emergencies. In addition, a role-based service access control technology was proposed to enhance the security of user's personal health information and sensor information during service interoperability. Through simulation, it was shown that role-based access control is achieved by sharing role registration and user role token issuance information through blockchain. End users can receive services from the device with the fastest response time, and by performing service access control according to roles, direct access to data can be minimized and security for personal information can be enhanced.

  • IPTV Service, a convergence service of broadcasting, seems to have great potential as a nation's future growth driver for the 21st century. As IPTV service is future-oriented industry, adopting IPTV policy by freeing oneself from shortsighted policy and considering long-term strategy and rapidly changing convergence environment would be desirable. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to deduct future IPTV service under convergence environment by applying T.A.I.D.A, which is strategy planning tool effective for planning mid-long strategy, under uncertain environment among scenario method and offer new policy direction in order to realize future IPTV service.

  • This paper introduces the IoT-based service 'RapportRapport' using arduino and mobile application that focuses on consistency and repetition to manage bedtime routine - the core part of sleep education. It is necessary for baby's better sleep outcomes, including deep sleep and long sleep duration. 'RapportRapport' provides Arduino dolls with sensors attached to provoke sleep association to baby, and to help user's bedtime routine efficiently at the same time. Arduino and mobile application exchange data by communicating via bluetooth.

A Practical Performance Comparison of Nurse between Comprehensive Nursing Care Service Ward and General Service Ward

  • This study was conducted to identify differences in Practical Performance of Nurse between Comprehensive Nursing Care Service Ward and General Service Ward. The subjects of this study were 185 nurses from S hospital, Comprehensive Nursing Care service operating hospital, located in D city. This study used the measuring tool "Nursing Professionalism Scale" developed by Yoon etc(2005) and "Practical Performance Scale" developed by Lee etc(2005). The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression using SPSS 20.0 version. As a result of the study, Comprehensive Nursing Care Service Ward nurses have higher Nursing Professionalism than General Service Ward nurses. Also, Nursing Professionalism has an effect on improvement of Practical Performance on Both ward nurses. Therefore, the study can be applied to improve the Practical Performance of the nurses through the establishment of the Nursing Professionalism.

  • If one analyzes recent cyber incidents including personal information infringement cases, it seems like actual attack is targeting Internet service providers but actually they are targeting Internet service users. For many users, all the services were not provided to them as they have signed for in the contract or personal informations, which users have provided to service providers when signing contracts, were disclosed to public without users' consent causing aftereffect. As a result, importance of S-SLA indexes, which is to be included in the SLA to be signed between a user and a service provider, is ever more increasing. Especially, if there is a S-SLA indexes for anti-virus services, service providers have to provide a high quality of service as they have signed in the SLA. However, there wasn't any researches in the S-SLA area domestically and there are only limited SLA indexes related to system or service maintenances at the moment. Therefore, this paper analyses security functions in anti-virus services and proposes S-SLA indexes for different security level.

Perception of Uncertainty and Satisfaction for Nursing Service of Children's Parents Visiting to Pediatrics Outpatient Department and Emergency Room (소아과 외래와 응급실 내원 아동 부모의 불확실성 인지와 간호서비스 만족도)

  • Purpose: This study was a descriptive research to provide fundamental data in ensuring a high quality of nursing service needed by children's parent according to perception of uncertainty and care satisfaction of them between pediatric outpatient department and emergency room. Methods: For this study, 192 children's parents were questioned in a general hospital located in Busan from August 1 to 31. 2009. The collected data were scored by use of frequencies, $x^2$ test, t-test, AONVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient via SPSS/WIN 17.0. Results: With the compare of characteristics related to children's parents visiting emergency room and pediatric outpatient department, there were statistically significant difference in relation and age of parent, main caregiver, cause of arrival, and waiting time from arrival to procedure. The perception of uncertainty for parent in the emergency room showed significant difference to outpatient department. In nursing service, the highest score was category of professional skill and technic. In addition, overall parents' perceptions on providing information showed lower than any other nursing service. Last but not least, a significant correlation indicated between the perception of uncertainty and satisfaction of nursing service. Conclusion: Efforts to improve parent satisfaction for nursing service are needed to decrease their perception of uncertainty. Providing information and communication by nurses are necessary to improve quality of nursing service.

The Empirical Analysis on the relevancy between the IT competency of the Group Enterprises, and the IT Service Firms' Management Performance (국내 대형 그룹사 IT수준 및 계열 IT서비스사 경영 성과의 관련성에 관한 실증 연구)

  • In this paper, we analyse empirically the relation between the IT competency of the Group enterprises, and the management performance of the subsidiary IT service firms in Korea. The 24 IT service firms and relative Group enterprises are included for analysis. The various hypotheses established are validated by t-test method statistically. The results shows that IT competency level of the Group enterprises was affected by not only their sales volumes, new investment volume of IT service, but system management(SM) and inner captive market's sales volume of subsidiary IT service firms also. Additionally the sales volume of IT service firms was affected positively by their inner-captive market's sales, system management sales volume, and the sales volume of their Group enterprise. The service competency of the subsidiary IT service firms is shown as more high in the lower intensity of outer-captive and system integration(SI) business, as well as in the upper intensity of inner-captive and SI business.

  • Unknowingly, the relationship between IT departments and their internal customers becomes that of client-supplier based on the mechanisms of marketing and competition. In addition, due to enhanced focus on the customer in the planning, development, and delivery of information service, IT service management(ITSM) has become increasingly important. These days IT management is focusing particularly on the 'de-facto' standard ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) for implementing ITSM. It is linked as a part of CobiT’s 'deliver and support' domain, which is a framework of IT governance, and ISO/IEC 20000 is a unique international certification standards on the ITSM. This paper proposes the strategy and procedure for ITSM implementation based on ITIL with consideration of IT governance structure for manufacturing industries. It also presents a case study to share the lessons learned and results of an ITSM project.
