A Study on Cleaningproof of Tanned Chrome Garment Leathers -On the Fading and Stiffening by Dry Cleaning- (의류용 크롬유혁의 내클리닝성에 관한 연구 -드라이클리닝에 의한 변색과 경화를 중심으로-)

  • This study is to examine the cleaningproof by dry cleaning runs and parts(shoulder, belly, butt) of garment leathers tanned chrome. This study is composed of three methods of test; color difference test, surface view by scanning electron micrographs, mechanical properties measurement by KES-FB system. The results obtained were as follows: 1. In stiffening of parts of sample, the belly is the best degree in smoothness, fullness, softness. But that of the butt have been found to be the worst degree and to be thick. 2. In fading of parts, the shoulder is an extreme case, but the belly is the best among three parts. 3. In dry cleaning runs, the view after 3 runs has been found to be the best result. 4. The stiffening after dry cleaning 1 run have been low grade, for the sample absorb much solvent of dry cleaning. And, the fading and the decoloration are to be worse after 5 runs. Because the leather surface is affected by dry cleaning runs.

This report is divided into two chapter, the first chapter presents to specific diseases according to runnings of Five Tastes, the second chapter shows the pathological process how the human body would change and what kind of disease attacts human body as result of taking Five Tastes. So this section is important remarkably as a viewpoint of food and medicines.

Comparing statistical data on 119 ambulance runs and ambulance crew in Korea and Japan (한국과 일본의 소방 구급 출동 및 구급인력 규모 비교 연구)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to compare and analyze statistical data on 119 ambulance runs and ambulance crew, which are the components of the emergency medical services system in Korea and Japan. Methods: Data from National Fire Agencies of both Korea and Japan were collected and statistically compared. Results: With regard to the ratio of 119 ambulance runs, Korea's ratio has been gradually and continuously growing beyond that of Japan (Korea 4708.11, Japan 4706.47) since 2014. The ratio of firefighting ambulances in Korea was 2.59 ($2.59{\pm}0.10$), and was 4.76 ($4.76{\pm}0.12$) in Japan. The ratio of 119 ambulance crews in Korea was 15.55 ($15.55{\pm}2.03$), and was 47.24 ($47.24{\pm}1.06$) in Japan. Among the ambulance crews, the ratio of paramedics was 33.81 ($33.81{\pm}5.85$) in Korea and was 38.86($38.86{\pm}4.10$) in Japan. Conclusion: The ratio of 119 ambulance runs in Korea has already exceeded that of Japan, but the numbers of 119 ambulance crews and paramedics qualified for special emergency treatment are still insufficient. Therefore, supply and demand policy that promotes the development of the firefighting ambulance service system is necessary.

  • This research investigates economic characteristics of 2 of 2 runs rules under the Shewhart $\bar{X}$ control chart scheme. A Markov chain approach is employed in order to calculate the in-control average run length (ARL) and the average length of analysis cycle. States of the process are defined according to the process conditions at sampling time and transition probabilities are derived from the state definitions. A steady state cost function is constructed based on the Lorezen and Vance(1986) model. Numerical examples show that 2 of 2 runs rules are economically superior to the Shewhart $\bar{X}$ chart in many cases.

  • From the mathematical and statistical point of view, a segment of a DNA strand can be viewed as a sequence of four-state (A, C, G, T) trials. Herein, we consider the distributions of runs and patterns related to the run lengths of multi-state sequences, especially for four states (A, B, C, D). Let X1, X2, . . . be a sequence of four state independent and identically distributed trials taking values in the set 𝒢 = {A, B, C, D}. In this study, we obtain exact formulas for the probability distribution function for the discrete distribution of runs of B's of order k. We obtain longest run statistics, shortest run statistics, and determine the distributions of waiting times and run lengths.

  • In this paper the effect of light on non-aerated Baker's Yeast(Saccharomyces cereuisiae) production and the protein excretion to the extracellular fluid is studied. Previous results in our laboratory indicate that at pH=5 and T-32$^{\circ}C$ yeast may be affected by light, but those differences seem to be within statistical variation of the data. In this paper, cell and extracellular protein concentrations along with redox potential are monitored for batch fermentations in the presence and absence of light at pH levels of 3 and 5 and at 31$^{\circ}C$, in order to explore whether possible light effects can be more readily discerned at lower pH values. Yeast particle size distributions are also determined over the course of fermentation using a particle counter in order to add one more measuring tool to our usual cell and total protein measurements. An apparently noticeable difference in the redox potential is observed between the light and the dark runs for early times for the pH=3 runs. The particle size distributions show differences in the particle diameters between light and dark runs at pH=3, but those differences fall within one standard deviation of the mean particle diameters.

  • 한발에 대한 정도와 기간을 예측하기위한 추계학적인 한 방법으로서 RUNS의 이론이 오래전부터 사용되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 RUNS 이론을 이용하여 우리나라의 강수량 형태를 년과 월로 구분하고 NORMAL, LOG-NORMAL, GAMMA 등의 이론적 분포와 비교, 분석 하여 실제 우리나라 강우량 특성이 이들 이론적 분포함수, 모멘트, 기타 다른 통계적 특성들과 어떠한 관계에 있는지 조사하는 것이다. 비교적 그 기간이 긴 대구, 부산, 서울, 전주등 8개 지점의 자료로부터 년 강수량은 정규분포, 대수정규분포, GAMMA 분포의 가정하에 그리고 월 강수량은 자료를 1차 표준화하여 우리나라 강수량의 RUNS 특성, 즉 RUN-LENGTH, RUN-SUM, RUN-INTENSITY 을 분석해 본 결과 대체로 GAMMA 분포에 가까운 경향을 보일수 있었다.

  • Experimental design in simulation provides an efficient way of economizing simulation runs since a considerable number of simulation runs that originally were planned can be reduced by this approach. This experimental design method is an active area of research together with the output analysis and so no single panacea seems to exist so far. Thus, selection of techniques of experimental design and output analysis more lithely depends upon the objective of simulation analysis, budget constraint and sometimes the analysts subjective judgment. This paper attempts to describe an experimental design methodology for port investment analysis using a case study in a bulk terminal in Korea. Detailed display will be focused on simulation period, warm-up period, the number of replications needed in production runs after brief explanation on the system configuration.

  • 심장의 활성 근육의 움직임에 의하여 발생되는 전기적 변화량을 나타내는 심전도는 부정맥 또는 허혈성 심장질환을 진단하는데 널리 활용되고 있다. 특히 심실빈맥(Ventricular Tachycardia) 또는 심실세동(Ventricular Fibrillation)과 같이 치명적인 심장리듬이 발생하기 이전에, 심실조기수축(Ventricular Premature Contraction)을 검출하여 생명을 위협할 수 있는 부정맥을 조기에 진단할 수 있는 연구들이 일부 진행되고 있다. 이에 따라서 본 연구에서는 심전도 신호의 R-R 간격 정보와 R-peak 정보의 진위성을 판단하여 PVC 부정맥 패턴뿐만 아니라 PVC 파형이 연속적으로 진행되는 PVC-RUNs을 효율적으로 검출할 수 있는 부정맥 진단 알고리즘을 제안하고자 하였다.
