This study attempts to analyze the consumers' preference on Korean Red Ginseng Tonic, which is an essential product to revitalize Korean ginseng industry, using choice experiment method. The attributes used in the choice experiment were the ginseng age, good agricultural products(GAP), sugar, and price. A total of 1,796 experiments were collected and the value of each preferred attributes was estimated using a multinomial logistic model. The result shows that the products made from six-year-old and GAP(Good Agriculture Practice) approved Korean ginseng with less sugar were preferred. These estimated monetary values of marginal willingness to pay were about 94,000 KRW, 89,000 KRW, 5,000 KRW, respectively. Thus, the efforts to introduce and advertize GAP approved ginseng while developing new products with preferred attributes by general publics are necessary in the short run. In addition, we may need to consider developing the way to promote products using 4- and 5-year-old ginsengs, which are relatively underestimated in their health effectiveness but highly productive for farmers in the long run.
Portable navigation markets grew up to 95% last year. This study aims to develop a business model for pedestrian-oriented portable navigator for street shoppers. Related previous studies developed successfully the alogrithm for a portable navigator, and the current study seeks for diverse ways to turn this system into a new type of on & off line-based LBS business. The business model proposed in this study adopted two different approaches of benefit yields based on the structural analysis of so-called Wanavi navigation system. One is segmented approach seeking for benefits from each individual system component such as communication network, contents, and platform. The other approach is to run the business by integrating relevant system componts in every possible way to attract customers to this portable navigator. The purpose of this proposal is not limited to activate emerging walking navigator markets, but to aim at creating idealistic free market system where all the shoppers are furnished complete market information to the fullest extent when they go on shopping.
Synthetic unit hydrograph equations for rainfall run-off characteristics analysis and estimation of design flood have long and quite frequently been presented, the Snyder and SCS synthetic unit hydrograph. The major inputs to the Snyder and SCS synthetic unit hydrograph are lag time and peak coefficient. In this study, the methods for estimating lag time and peak coefficient for small watersheds proposed by Zhao and McEnroe(1999) were applied to the Kum river basin in Korea. We investigated lag times of relatively small watersheds in the Kum river basin in Korea. For this investigation the recent rainfall and stream flow data for 10 relatively small watersheds with drainage areas ranging from 134 to 902 square kilometers were gathered and used. 250 flood flow events were identified along the way, and the lag time for the flood events was determined by using the rainfall and stream flow data. Lag time is closely related with the basin characteristics of a given drainage area such as channel length, channel slope, and drainage area. A regression analysis was conducted to relate lag time to the watershed characteristics. The resulting regression model is as shown below: ※ see full text (equations) In the model, Tlag is the lag time in hours, Lc is the length of the main river in kilometers and Se is the equivalent channel slope of the main channel. The coefficient of determinations (r$^2$)expressed in the regression equation is 0.846. The peak coefficient is not correlated significantly with any of the watershed characteristics. We recommend a peak coefficient of 0.60 as input to the Snyder unit-hydrograph model for the ungauged Kum river watersheds

It is certain that EC(Electronic Commerce) applying the internet will be activated in the knowledge society of 21 century based on IT(Information Technology). Though this change of social environment helps the useful information resource available to expand, it looks like that the rapid inclease in lots of information to gather makes colleges, reseach laboratories and public institutions to spend more man power and money on work of book purchases than before and now. Therefore the most urgent part for the business process reengineering in work of information service center is the business of book purchases. The business of book purchases is the core part in organizations and facilities. It should construct the books which the organigation and facility need in the most economical and efficient way within the range of physically receptive capacity with the limited budget. These organigations and facilities have to establish the policy of the book stock which they should possess and also librarians should endeavour to configure the kernel book stock constantly. I assert that they need to ensure a specialty with the improvement of business process accompanying choosing and purchasing the books. Especially, in a case of purchasing foreign books by request of members like professors, students, researcher and so on they have to replace the business of book purchase using agency with direct dealing using EC. This Business Process Reengineering will cut down on expenses, offer the transparency of book purchases and also give the users confidence. Moreover the Business Process Reengineering make it possible to build well constructed main books and information resource. The people in charge are enabled to acquire the knowledge of subjects with contiuous search for books of a spcial area and self-study. These experts in work will raise the quality of information service. Information service center will be the core in the 21c knowledge industry. To streng then value of it, efficiently run it and control it the existing business of book purchasing should be replace with direct dealing using EC applying the internet.
The purpose of this paper is Inflect ICT in each subject class of common school by effort about education Information that was regularized with enforcement of the seventh training courses and arrived in visual point that realize education information concretely. But, such realistic that specific discussion and research about actual ICT introduction direction or practical use way consisted enough up to now despite Is urgent example difficult. Decide target connected with Information Technology by classified grade-class and plan that teach learners systematically may have to flow fair discussion and trial run success or failure of education and point that is connected directly problem that establish date or the level and target that it is very as itself value how. Therefore, this research wished to premise computer-aided education target in primary school by analyze education target of each subject that come out in primary grade subject and abroad training courses.
Abstract In 2017, it has been reported that Google had more than 90% of the market share in search-engines of desktops and mobiles. Most people may consider that Google surely searches the entire web area. However, according to many researches for web data, Google only searches less than 10%, surprisingly. The most region is called the Deep Web, and it is indexable by special search engines, which are different from Google because they focus on a specific segment of interest. Those engines build their own deep-web databases and run particular algorithms to provide accurate and professional search results. There is no search engine that indexes the entire Web, currently. The best way is to use several search engines together for broad and efficient searches as best as possible. This paper defines that kind of search engine as Hybrid Search Engine and provides characteristics and differences compared to conventional search engines, along with a frame of hybrid search engine.
In this paper, an energy efficient clustering scheme using self organization method is proposed. The proposed scheme selects a cluster head considering not only the number of neighbor nodes but also the residual battery amount. In addition, the network life time is extended by re-selecting the cluster heads only in case the current cluster head's residual energy falls down below a certain threshold level. Accordingly, the energy consumption is evenly distributed over the entire network nodes. The cluster head delivers the collected data from member nodes to a Sink node in a way of multi-hop relaying. In order to evaluate the proposed scheme, we run computer simulation in terms of the total residual amount of battery, the number of alive nodes after a certain amount of time, the accumulated energy cost for network configuration, and the deviation of energy consumption of all nodes, comparing with LEACH which is one of the most popular network clustering schemes. Numerical results show that the proposed scheme has twice network life-time of LEACH scheme and has much more evenly distributed energy consumption over the entire network.
Current domestic research is to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiencies of flood prevention measures through one-dimensional numerical analysis and this study's object is to help water managers to make the efficient decisions by applying the two-dimensional urban run off model XP-SWMM model in the flooded area and comparing with the flood prevention measures. Statistics were analyzed, based on the data collected from Cheongju Weather Service from 1967 to 2011 for 45 years. 50 years Flood frequency simulations of water flow capacity analysis of the target area for flooded areas $539,548m^2$, inundation depth 1.0 m, was analyzed by inundation time of 48 minutes. When comparing with the constructions of bypass road and underground storage facilities to increase the water flow capacity of A1 small drainage areas as flood protection, if you install a batching target underground detention basin with a capacity of $13,500m^3$, it is expected that the flood by rainfall with frequency of 50 years will be resolved completely. In preparation for extreme weather in the future flood mitigation measures, underground storage tank installation is considered a better efficient way.
Currently, virtual reality contents using VR images are spotlighted since they can be easily created and utilized. But because VR images are in a state of lack of interaction, there are limitations in their applications and usability. In order to overcome this problem, we propose a new method in which 360 degree panorama image and game engine are utilized to develop a high resolution of interactive VR service in real time. In particular, since the background image, which is represented by a form of panorama image, is pre-generated through a heavy rendering computation, it can be used to provide a immersive VR service with a relatively small amount of computation in run time on a low performance device. In order to show the effectiveness of our proposed method, an interactive game of a virtual zoo environment was implemented and illustrated showing that it can improve user interaction and immersion experience in a pretty good way.
