천연색소 함유 식물추출물과 플로럴 워터의 항산화 활성 (Antioxidant activity of hot-water extracts and floral waters from natural plant pigments)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 전통적으로 사용되고 있는 천연염색의 원료인 천연염료, 즉 천연색소의 열수추출물과 플로랄워터의 항산화 활성을 확인하는 것이다. 항산화 활성은 총 페놀 함량 분석과 DPPH 라디칼 소거능, ABTS 라디칼 소거능, 단일항산소 억제 효과로 확인하였다. 열수추출물에서 DPPH 라디칼 소거 활성을 나타내는 $IC_{50}$ 값은 0.0085~3.5 mg/mL를 나타내어 일부 색소 추출물의 DPPH 소거 활성이 우수하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히 오배자, 소목 추출물이 $8.5{\mu}g/mL$, $19.1{\mu}g/mL$로 높은 DPPH 라디칼 소거 활성을 나타내었는데, 비교 물질로 주로 사용되는 ascorbic acid의 $10.5{\mu}g/mL$ 만큼 높은 우수한 항산화력을 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 단일항산소 억제 효과 역시 오배자, 소목 추출물에서 각각 0.21, 0.12 mg/mL을 나타내어 높은 소거 활성을 띄는 것으로 강한 빛에 의해 야기되는 활성산소의 피해로부터 생물체를 보호해주는 것을 알 수 있었다. 총 페놀 함량도 열수추출물에서 높은 수준을 나타내었다. 반면, 플로라워터의 항산화 활성은 열수추출물 대비 미비한 효과를 보였으나 황련, 황벽천초근의 경우 열수추출물 보다 우수한 결과를 나타내었다. 플로라워터의 경우 액상시료를 첨가하여 수행되는 실험 방법에 의해 정량적 수치를 명확히 나타내기 어렵기 때문에 연구방법적 측면에서 개선이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 결론적으로 일부 천연색소 추출물은 생물체의 산화적 스트레스로부터 야기되는 활성산소를 억제하는 중요한 역할을 하며, 보다 심도 깊은 연구를 진행한다면 새로운 생물 소재로 활용성이 높을 것으로 사료된다.

해안사구의 토착식물로부터 분리된 근권세균의 내염능과 식물성장촉진능 평가 (An Evaluation of Plant Growth Promoting Activities and Salt Tolerance of Rhizobacteria Isolated from Plants Native to Coastal Sand Dunes)

  • 본 연구에서는 경기도 궁평항 지역의 해안사구에 서식하고 있는 토착식물 6종(Rorippa islandica, Rumex crispus, Artemisia princeps var. orientalis, Lilium sp Stellaria media, and Gramineae)의 식물 뿌리와 근권토양으로부터 colony library를 구축하여 식물성장촉진 능력과 내염능을 평가하였다. 분리한 근권세균 중 4.0%의 염분이 존재하는 환경에서 50% 이상의 세균이 염분에 강한 내성을 가지고 있었다. 95개의 균주를 대상으로 식물성호르몬인 IAA생산능을 가지는 균주는 근권토양에서는 13.9%, 식물뿌리에서는 7.6%였으며, 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC)를 제거하는 ACC deaminase 활성을 가진 균주는 근권토양에서는 55.8%, 뿌리에서는 36.6%였다. 또한, Siderphores 합성능을 가지고 있는 균주는 근권에서 62.7%, 뿌리에서는 50%를 차지하였다. 식물성장촉진능과 내염능을 가진 세균을 대상으로 상관관계를 분석한 결과, ACC deaminase 활성과 siderphore(s) 합성능 사이에는 양의 상관관계를 형성하였고(r=0.605, p<0.037), 염분 내성능과 ACC deaminase 활성, 염분 내성능과 siderphore(s) 합성능 사이에도 양의 상관관계를 형성하였다(r=0.762, p<0.004, r=0.771, p<0.003, 각각).

북한산국립공원 주요지역의 관속식물상 -북한산 둘레길, 진관내동 습지, 북한동 철거지를 대상으로- (Vascular Plants of Major Sites in Bukhansan National Park -A Case Study on Bukhansan Dulegil, Jingwan-dong Wetland, Bukhan-dong Cheolgeoji-)

  • The vascular plants in Bukhansan Dulegil, Jingwan-dong Wetland and Bukhan-dong Cheolgeoji were listed 432 taxa (8.9% of all 4,881 taxa of vascular plants); 95 families, 274 genera, 345 species, 2 subspecies, 69 varieties and 16 forms. Divided into woody plants were 145 taxa (33.6%) and herbaceous plants were 287 taxa (66.4%). The Bukhansan Dulegil were listed (Myeongsang-gil 159 taxa, Huingureum-gil 227 taxa, Wooyiryeong-gil 216 taxa, Banghakdong-gil 139 taxa, Boru-gil 199 taxa), Jingwan-dong Wetland were listed 147 taxa and Bukhan-dong Cheolgeoji were listed 129 taxa. Based on the list of rare plants by Korea Forest Service and Korea National Arboretum were Viola albida Palibin (Violaceae), Iris minutiaurea Makino (Iridaceae) and Korea National Arboretum were endemic plants, Philadelphus schrenkii Rupr. var. schrenkii (Saxifragaceae), Weigela subsessilis L.H. Bailey (Caprifoliaceae). Based on the list of floristic regional indicator plants by Korean Ministry of Environment were total 22 taxa; Wisteria floribunda DC. for. floribunda in class IV, 3 taxa (Betula davurica Pall., Mukdenia rossii Koidz., Glechoma grandis Kuprian., etc.) in class III, 5 taxa (Acer triflorum Kom., Viola orientalis W. Becker, Heloniopsis koreana Fuse & Al., etc.) in class II and 13 taxa (Camptosorus sibiricus Rupr., Clematis patens C. Morren & Decne., Cirsium pendulum Fisch. ex DC., etc.) in class I. Based on the list of naturalized plants, 16 families, 35 genera, 37 species, 3 varieties, 1 form, total 41 taxa (Rumex crispus L., Abutilon theophrasti Medicus, Panicum dichotomiflorum Michx. etc.), naturalization rate was 9.5% of all 432 taxa of vascular plants and urbanization index was 13.3% of all 309 taxa of naturalized plants. Ecosystem disturbing wild plants were 5 taxa; Rumex acetocella L., Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., Ambrosia trifida L. var. trifida, Eupatorium rugosum Houtt., Aster pilosus Willd.

수로와 강변의 습지에 발생한 수생잡초의 분포 및 방제 현황 (Distribution and Control of Aquatic Weeds in Waterways and Riparian Wetlands)

  • 수로, 하천, 호수, 강 주변에서 발생하는 수생잡초는 왕성한 생장으로 관개, 배수에서 유속 감소, 수생 생태계에 영향 등으로 막대한 피해를 입히고 수생잡초를 방제하기 위하여 많은 비용을 지출하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 수로, 하천, 강 주변 습지와 수중에서 발생하는 수생잡초와 침입식물의 분포 및 방제에 관한 정보를 분석하여 수생잡초의 효과적인 관리대책 수립에 필요한 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 수로, 저수지, 호수 주변의 수생잡초는 갈대, 나도겨풀, 줄, 망초, 개망초, 소리쟁이, 개기장, 미국가막사리, 부들, 주요 강변의 습지에서는 바랭이, 갈대, 소리쟁이, 쑥, 환삼덩굴, 피, 미국가막사리, 고마리가 우점하였다. 수로 및 호수에서 발생한 침수잡초는 검정말, 나자스말, 대가래, 말즘, 붕어마름, 생이가래, 마름이 우점하였다. 습지에서 외래잡초는 토끼풀, 달맞이꽃, 개망초, 망초, 미국가막사리, 메귀리, 돼지풀, 도꼬마리, 미국개기장, 소리쟁이가 우점하였다. 수생잡초 방제는 기계적, 화학적, 생물적 방법에 의존하고 있으며, 앞으로 우리나라에서 습지에서 수생잡초와 외래잡초를 방제하기 위하여 수생잡초의 주기적인 모니터링과 기계적, 화학적 방제를 포함한 종합잡초관리 체계에 관한 연구가 요망된다.

  • This study was carried out to investigated the flora of Naknam-Jeongmaek, Korea. The survey sites were Gilmajae, Mt. Muryang, Mt. Yeohang, Mt. Muhak, Mt. Cheonju and Mt. Sineo. The flora were summarized, numbering 666 taxa including 112 families, 357 genera, 574 species, 4 subspecies, 73 varieties and 15 forms. The threatened species was Aconitum austrokoreense. The rare plants were 12 taxa including Asarum maculatum, Wikstroemia ganpi, Viola albida, Tricyrtis macropoda and so forth. The Korean endemic plants were 19 taxa including Salix koriyanagi, Thalictrum actaefolium var. brevistylum, Weigela subsessilis, Hosta minor and so forth. The specific plants by floristic region were 81 taxa including 38 taxa of grade I, 19 taxa of grade II, 16 taxa of grade III, 7 taxa of grade IV and 1 taxa of grade V. The naturalized plants were 32 taxa including Rumex crispus, Physalis angulata, Erechtites hieracifolia, Taraxacum officinale and so forth. The invasive alien plants were Ambrosia artemisiifolia and Aster pilosus.

곡교천 주변의 토양과 자생식물의 중금속분포에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Distribution of Heavy Metals in Soils and Native Plants of Goggyochun)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the distribution pattern of plants on the streamside of Goggyochun, and to survey the distribution of heavy metal-contaminated soils and plants. A total of 11 survey sites were selected along the Goggyochun during the period of between June and September 1999. The wet land plants were composed of 44 species. The most frequently occurring species in the study sites were Rumex crispus, Persicaria hydropiper, Cyperus amuricus and Setaria viridis, and among them the Humulus japonicus, Erigeron canadensis and Phragnites communis species were dominants of the community. Analysis of soil properties showed that organic matter and clay contents were higher in the upstream region while sand content was higher in the downstream region. The pH and the organic matter contents of soils were at range of 6.70-9.94 and 2.39-15.16% respectively. The average contents of Pb and Cd in soils were 11.96mg/kg and 1.64mg/kg respectively, and these values were higher as compared with those of ordinary soil in Korea. The average contents of Zn and Pb in Persicaria hydropiper were 8.30mg/kg and 7.38mg/kg respectively, and these values were higher than other plants. The distribution of heavy metals in plants varied in accordance with the species regardless of the sites.

패턴분석법에 의한 대황의 비교 연구 (Comparative Study of the Rhei Rhizoma by Pattern Analysis)

  • Three species, such as Rheum palmatum L., R. tanguticum Maxim. and R. officinale Baillon are recognized as the source plants of Rhei Rhizoma in Korean Pharmacopeia. However, other herbal sources such as R. undulatum L. and Rumex crispus L. have been often misused as Rhei Rhizoma. A pattern analysis method to discriminate Rhei Rhizoma in Korean Pharmacopeia from other herbal plants using HPLC and TLC chromatograms was developed. The multivariate peak data of the chromatograms of methanol extracts of Rhei Rhizoma were used for hierarchical clustering analysis, principal components analysis and similarity calculation. Besides of the statistic analysis, TLC patterns of samples could be used as criteria of the discrimination. The developed pattern analysis method was specific and could be readily utilized for comprehensive evaluation of Rhei Rhizoma.

Taxonomic Study on the Plant Resources in Gasado (Jindo)

  • In this study, an on-site survey was conducted around Gasado island at Jodo-myeon, Jindo-gun, Jeonnam during July 2 to 25, 2002. The naturalized plants investigated in the surveyed sites were revealed 15 families and 39 species, including Althaea rosea and Oxalis articulata, which are ornamental plants. Only 10 species appeared in Imjado island among the surveyed sites the surveyed sites and Imjado Island, including Elymus sibiricus, Lolium perenne, Chenopodium album, Oxalis articulata, Oxalis corymbosa, Oenothera odorata, Xanthium strumarium, Bidens frondosa, Ambrosia artemisiaefolia var. elatior, and Taraxacum officinale. 6 species were distributed only in Gasado island, Jindo-gun, which included include Festuca myuros, Chenopodium ambrosioides, Amorpha fruiticosa, Malva neglecta, Calendula arvensis, and Carthamus tinctorius. 18 species were showed in Soheuksan island.; Yeosu area, 29 species; Imja Island in Sinan-gun, 34 species, and Gasado Island in Jindo-gun revealed 39 species. It is believed that the species of naturalized plants have been expanded compared to the other areas because of close location to the inland and large population fastiy. The Urbanization Index(UI) of this area was found to be 19.5. The naturalized plant communites in these surveyed sites were classified into Rumex crispus, Elymus sibiricus, and Lolium perenne community according to the vegetation table. Furthermore, they formed a community around areas that received great artificial influence from human dwellings or roads due to the characteristics of species distribution

경안천에서 하천변 식생의 분포에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Distribution of Streamside Vegetation in Kyonganchon)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the distribution pattern of plants on streamside of Kyonganchon, which is a tributary of the Han River, and to determine the relationships between plant distribution and environmental factors. Fifteen study sites were selected along the Kyonganchon, and vegetation distribution pattern and soil environmental factors were determined. The most frequently ocurring species in the study sites were Persicaria thunbergii, Persicaria hydropiper, Echinochloa crus-galli and Bidens frondosa, and among them the two Persicaria species were dominants of the community. Many species showed different distribution along the stream:Chenopodium album, Equisetum arvense and Setaria viridies occurred in the upstream region, while Rumex crispus, Leonurus sibiricus and Rorippa islandica occurred in the middle and downstream regions. Analysis of soil properties showed that organic matter and clay content were higher in the upstream region while sand content was higher in the downstream region. The results of DCA ordination showed that axis one was positively correlated with organic matter and clay content and negatively correlated with sand content, indicating that the distribution pattern of vegetation along the Kyonganchon was determined by elevational gradient from upstream to downstream region or gradient of stream width and water level, and by soil organic matter content and soil texture related to these gradients.

주왕산국립공원에 분포하는 관속식물상 (Flora Distributed in Juwangsan National Park, Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to offer the raw data for conservation of natural resources by surveying the flora distributed in Juwangsan National Park. The numbers of flora were summarized as 575 taxa; 99 families, 333 genera, 507 species, 4 subspecies, 56 varieties and 8 forms. The threatened species was Eleutherococcus senticosus, and the rare plants were 17 taxa; Anaphalis sinica, Jeffersonia dubia, Hylotelephium ussuriense, Berchemia berchemiaefolia and so forth. The Korean endemic plants were 13 taxa; Salix pseudolasiogyne, Carpinus laxiflora, Pseudostellaria coreana, Thalictrum actaefolium var. brevistylum, Corydalis albipetala and so forth. The specific plants by floristic region were 69 taxa; 31 taxa of grade I, 16 taxa of grade II, 8 taxa of grade III, 7 taxa of grade IV and 7 taxa of grade V. The naturalized plants were 27 taxa; Fallopia dumetorum, Rumex crispus, Chenopoidum album, Amaranthus patulus, Lepidium apetalum and so forth, and the invasive alien plants were Ambrosia artemisiifolia and Aster pilosus. The target plants adaptable to climate change were 18 taxa; Anemone reflexa, Eranthis stellata, Hylomecon vernalis, Lathyrus vaniotii and so forth. The plants with approval for delivering oversea were 31 taxa; Dianthus longicalyx, Thalictrum ichangense, Spiraea blumei, Glycine soja and so forth.
