  • A design method that can easily construct intelligent patient monitoring systems is proposed. To achieve the design method, the SES/MB concept and a discrete event-based logic control formalism based on a set theory is introduced. In this control paradigm the controller expects to receive confirming sensor responses to its control commands within definite time windows determined by DEVS model of the system under control. Because data to be used for rule-based symbolic reasoning are to be abstracted, several AI methods are applied the processes. These methods are applied to intelligent patient monitoring systems so that they facilitate transformation from low level raw data to high level linguistic data. Model-based system representations have advantages of reusability, extensibility, flexsibility, independent testability and encapsulation.

  • 특성 모델(Feature Model)은 소프트웨어 제품 라인 개발 시 도메인 공학 단계에서 제품들 사이의 공통된 개념들과 서로 다른 개념들을 모델링하는데 널리 사용된다. 특성 모델로부터 특정 제품에 포함될 특성들을 선택한 결과를 특성 구성(Feature Configuration)이라고 하며, 이것은 특정 제품에 대한 요구 사항을 나타낸다. 현재 소프트웨어 제품 라인 개발 시 특성 모델과 특성 구성을 어떻게 구축하고 이용하는지에 대한 연구는 많이 되어 있지만, 이들에 대한 정형적 시맨틱과 논리적 추론에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 제품 라인 공학에서의 표준 문제로 제안된 Graph Product Line을 예제로 하여 규칙 기반 시스템인 JESS를 이용한 특성 구성 검증 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 기법은 특성 구성의 불일치성을 일으키는 원인을 명확히 제시하는 장점을 가지며, 자바 언어와의 결합성이 뛰어난 JESS 시스템에 기반을 두었기 때문에 다른 소프트웨어 제품 라인 개발 환경과 쉽게 통합될 수 있다.

  • This paper describes an implementation of the interval based expert system for syndrome differential diagnosis of Oriental Traditional Medicine (OTM). An approximate reasoning model using fuzzy logic for syndrome differential diagnosis is proposed. Based on this model, we implemented the system for diagnosing Eight rule diagnosis, organ diagnosis and then final differential syndrome of OTM. After carrying out inference process, the system will provide patient\`s syndromes differentiation diagnosis in the intervals and will give the explanation, which helps the user to understand the obtained conclusions.

퍼지 보상을 이용한 로봇 매니퓰레이터의 위치/힘제어 (Position/Force Control of Robotic Manipulator with Fuzzy Compensation)

  • An approach to robot hybrid position/force control, which allows force manipulations to be realized without overshoot and overdamping while in the presence of unknown environment, is given in this paper. The manin idea is to used dynamic compensation for known robot parts and fuzzy compensation for unknown environment so as to improve system performance. The fuzzy compensation is implemented by using rule based fuzzy approach to identify the unknown environment. The establishment of proposed control system consists of following two stages. First, similar to the resovled acceleration control method, dynamic compensation and PD control based on known robot dynamics, kinematics and estimated environment stiffness is introduced. To avoid overshoot the whole control system is constructed with overdamping. In the second stage, the unknown environment stiffness is identified by using fuzzy reasoning, where the fuzzy compensation rules are obtained priori as the expression of the relationship betweenenvironment stiffness and system. Based on the simulation result, comparison between cases with or without fuzzy identifications are given, which illustrate the improvement achieced.

  • In this paper, we propose the Fuzzy Inference-based Reinforcement Learning Algorithm. We offer more similar learning scheme to the psychological learning of the higher animal's including human, by using Fuzzy Inference in Reinforcement Learning. The proposed method follows the way linguistic and conceptional expression have an effect on human's behavior by reasoning reinforcement based on fuzzy rule. The intervals of fuzzy membership functions are found optimally by genetic algorithms. And using Recurrent state is considered to make an action in dynamical environment. We show the validity of the proposed learning algorithm by applying to the inverted pendulum control problem.

  • Product factory is a real-time financial product design system for the Internet customers. Recently, as the number of the Internet customers increases, the importance of the product factory becomes more emphasized. However, there is not much research performed regarding its definition, properties, requirements, nor implementation. In this research, we make a clear definition of product factory, and analyze the requirements of the system from the perspectives of functions and services, and we propose an architecture that reflects the analyzed requirements. In additions, we implemented a prototypical system based on the proposed architecture to prove the usefulness of this research.

  • The conventional quantitative techniques of system analysis are intrinsically unsuited for dealing with humanistic systems. Therefore, the rule based modeling of fuzzy linguistic type has been developed for the analysis of humanistic systems and complex systems and it is very significant for analysis and design of fuzzy logic controller. The activated sludge process is a commonly used method for treating sewage and waste waters. A mathematical tool to build a fuzzy model of the activated sludge process where fuzzy implications and linear reasoning are used is presented in here. A root-mean square error is used as the criterion of the fuzzy model's adequacy to the A.S.P. and the least square method is used for the identification of optimum consequence parameters. A method of modeling of the activated sludge process using its input-output data and simulation results for its application are shown.

  • 기존의 퍼지 규칙 기반 전문가 시스템 언어에는 크게 세 가지 단점들이 있다. 첫째, 복합 객체 추론 기능이 없으며, 둘째, 의미적으로 이해하기 쉽고 개념적으로 사용하기 용이한 퍼지 추론을 지원하지 못할 뿐 아니라, 세째, 지식 표현과 추론 방식이 기존의 데이터베이스 모텔과 구문이나 의미에서 현격 한 차이를 보이고 있기 때문에 서로 통합되기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이 세가지 단점들을 해결하기 위한 퍼지 객체 추론 모델의 정형화를 보이고, GIS 응용을 예로 들어 제시하는 모델이 데이타베이스내 GIS 복합 객체들을 자연스럽게 모델링하고, 이들 사이의 퍼지 추론을 성공적으로 수행함을 보인다.

  • 온톨로지의 논리적 오류와 개념들 간의 포함 관계를 탐지하는 추론 엔진들이 소개되고 있다. 발표된 온톨로지 추론 엔진의 대부분은 태블로 알고리즘을 기반으로 구축되었다. 그러나 대부분의 추론 엔진들은 논리적 오류를 일으키는 원인은 밝히지 않고, 논리적 오류를 갖는 개념만을 탐지한다. 본 논문의 목적은 태블로 알고리즘 전개 과정 중에 발생하는 non-deterministic 상황을 최적화하는 동시에 논리적 오류를 일으키는 원인을 탐지하기 위한 방법을 연구하는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 논리적 부정 가정기반 진리 유지 시스템(NATMS)을 사용하여 non-deterministic 문제를 해결하고 논리적 오류 원인을 탐지하는 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 발표되었던 종속 부호 기반 백트랙킹 기법과 Swoop 프로젝트에 적용된 논리적 오류 원인을 탐지하는 기법을 소개하고, 제안하고자 하는 기법을 설명한다.
