동남아 항로의 최적 경제선박에 관한 연구 (A study on the Optimal Economic Vessel in the South-East Asian Trade Route)

  • The recent trend in shipbuilding technology is toward development of highly economical vessels of which construction and operation costs are minimized, whereas cargo transport capacity is maximized. But, most of the vessel which are now operated by some of the nation's shipping companies are uneconomical ones built before oil crisis and consequently the companies are suffering from long-lasted deficit problem. In this paper, derivation study of optimum vessel for multi purpose cargo vessel on south-East Asian trade route is carried out to solve this problem. The Required Freight Rate is used as a measure of merits.

  • The development of the TSR-TKR Network will be regarded as the most important step towards the realization of integrated regional transportation system. If the TSR-TKR is constructed, there may be a possibility for the TKR to be used for shipments to Europe relacing marine shipments that take place at present. However, major forwarders think that it will not be easy to ensure the economic competitiveness of the TSR-TKR route. In this study, we have analyzed the optimim route for integration of opreation line on TSR-TKR.

낙도보조항로의 운영실태 및 발달과정 고찰 (A Study on Current Operating System and Development Process of Remote Island Public Service Route)

  • 이 연구에서는 낙도보조항로의 운영실태와 발달과정에 대하여 정리하였다. 낙도보조항로는 14개 사업자가 27개 항로에서 총 30척 선박으로 낙도주민을 위한 안정적인 생활교통편의를 제공하고 있다. 항로별 수송실적을 분석한 결과, 전체적으로 이들 항로를 이용하는 여객 수도 매년 증가하는 추세에 있다. 선박 이용자의 서비스 만족도를 향상시키려고 한다면 운영사업체별로 경영평가제를 도입하는 등 보다 구조적인 변화가 요구된다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻어진 결과들은 낙도보조항로 중장기 발전방향 수립에 기초 자료로 활용하는 데 그 의미가 있다.

Design of Public Transportation Route Guidance System for Wheelchair Users Utilizing Public Data of Seoul City

  • The purpose of this study is to design and test a new way of public transportation route guidance system for persons with disabilities, including wheelchair users. The guidance system is smartphone app-based, using, routes that involve disabled-friendly facilities in the vicinity can be searched. A database that contains publicly available data on low-floor bus services, location and extent of disabled-friendly facilities, and suitable subways and stations, was developed for this purpose. The app uses the database to access and query the required information. A pilot study was conducted to test the effectiveness of the guidance system. It was found that the system was able to convey information about the disabled-friendly routes and related guidance information even inside subway stations, effectively. The performance of the system was compared with route guidance services that do not explicitly use data on disabled-friendly services. A notable difference was observed in the travel time estimated by this program and other guidance services. The difference was around 4 to 15 minutes. This is significant savings for persons with disabilities if they use the app and service. The study thus shows that exclusive use of disabled-friendly data in route guidance will bring more benefits for persons with disabilities.

  • 최근 낙도보조항로의 운영에 있어서 선박취항명령후 운영사업자의 계속적인 사업수행으로 일반항로에 비해 경영개선 노력이 부진하거나 서비스의 절이 저하되는 등 여러 가지 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 낙도보조항로 운영 주체를 검토하여 개선방향을 제시하고자 AHP 기법을 이용한 실증연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과 보조항로 사업자에 대한 경영 평가제를 도입하여 사업자 스스로 지속적인 경영개선 노력을 유도함이 바람직할 것으로 보인다.

  • Previous methods to evaluate the risk of dropped objects rely on personnel experience of the engineer or operator without analyzed data. However analyzing historical statistic data is the best approach to find the safest operation route and to achieve more reasonable and reliable calculation results. By counting the failure frequency and fatal accident rate the risk can be quantified, and so controlled or mitigated with best economical risk reducing measures. This analysis gives a crane operator with useful information for selecting the best crane operation route, and a designer with an estimation of risk level for the dropped objects from a safety point of view.

구역분할 버스운영에 관한 연구 - 2-구역분할 운영의 경우 - (A Study on Zonal Operation of Buses - 2-Zonal operation Case -)

  • In most cities, travel demand is distributed along long corridors and its destinations tend to concentrate in a central business district. For this kind of many-to-one or one-to-many travel demand pattern, a zonal operation of buses can be an efficient bus operation technique in which a long bus-demand corridor is divided into service zones and each service zone is provided with its own bus route connecting the service zone and single destination separately. This paper develops models of the total transportation costs for a single-zone operation and 2-zonal operation of buses for a long demand corridor with single destination in terms of various cost parameters, demand density, bus operation speeds, and location of the boundary between two service zones. In this study the total transportation cost is assumed to consist of the bus operation cost, passenger waiting cost and passenger travel time cost. It was proved that a zonal operation of buses can be more efficient than a single-zone operation for certain circumstances of the system and an boundary condition between two operation techniques was obtained. Also, several case studies were performed for various values of the cost parameters.

버스운행관리 및 수송전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Bus Operation Management and Transport Strategy)

  • The bus should supply an equal service to the whole community as feeder trip. However the existing bus route can not supply an effective feeder service in spite of the changes in the latent demand by the variety of regional structural change. This study aimed to establish the concept which frames the bus operation and management to cope with the latent demand to the bus. This study tackled this evidence by analyzing the transportation problems in terms of the urban growth emphasizing the following issues ; First, the strategy to improve the bus operation Second the land use control appropriate for the public transportation network Third economical range to justify the bus operation Second, the land use control appropriate for the public transportation network Third, economical range to justify the bus operation Fourth, the allowance for the private transportation mode On the latter part, the difference on the bus operation was compared to determine the range within which the bus operation could be justified. This study would provide some implications to improve the management for bus operation and fundamental information to develop the bus operation system.

  • 버스전용차로는 버스교통량이 많은 간선도로에서 여객수송용량(person-carrying capacity) 증가를 통한 교통체증 완화가 목적이다. 도심의 제한된 공간에서 버스전용차로제 시행으로 인한 일반차로 감축은 교통체증을 악화시킬 수 있으므로 세심한 버스전용차로 설치 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 현재 버스전용차로 적합성(또는 설치 기준)을 버스교통량 및 버스이용객수에 국한하고 있는 문제점을 인식하고 7가지 지표(버스교통량, 버스노선수, 교통량/차로수, 차로수, 교차로수, 이면도로수, 노선굴곡도)를 이용하여 광주광역시 버스전용차로 적합성을 분석하여 상대적 우선순위를 결정한다. 또한 현재 운영 중인 버스전용차로 효율성 및 최적의 운영 시간대를 검토한다.

철도터널 화재시 연결통로 및 대피로 제연을 위한 수치해석 연구 (Numerical Simulation of Smoke Ventilation in Rescue Route and Cross Passage of Railroad Tunnel)

  • A transient 3-D numerical simulation was performed to analyze the fire safety in a railway tunnel equipped with a mechanical ventilation system. The behavior of pollutants was studied for the emergency operation mode of ventilation system in case of fire in the center of the rescue station and near the escape route. Various schemes of escape route construction for connection angle($45^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$, 135^{\circ}$) and slope($10^{\circ}$) were evaluated for the ventilation efficiency in the fire near the escape route. From the results, it was shown that the mode of the ventilation fan operation which pressurizes the tunnel not under the fire and ventilates the smoke from the tunnel under the fire is most effective for the smoke control in the tunnel in case of the fire occurrence. It was also shown that the blowing of jet fan from the rescue tunnel to the main tunnel should be in the same direction as the flow direction in the main tunnel arising from the traffic and the buoyancy.
