다중 위성 자료를 이용한 한반도에서의 실제 증발산량 산출에 관한 연구 (Estimation of Actual Evapotranspiration using Multi-Satellite Data over Korea Peninsula)

  • 증발산(Evapotranspiration)은 생태학 수문학적으로 지표 특성을 표현하는 변수로서 지구 물 순환과 에너지 수지에 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 높은 지표거칠기를 고려하여 에너지 수지식을 기반으로 실제 증발산량을 산출하였다. 2009년 한반도를 대상으로 다양한 위성 자료와 관측 자료를 이용하여 연구를 수행하였다. 실제 증발산량 산출에 있어 중요한 변수인 현열은 다양한 입력 변수가 사용되어 계산 과정이 복잡하므로 본 연구에서는 경험적 계수인 B를 사용하여 현열 산출을 단순화하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 현열 산출 시 중요한 변수인 공기역학적 저항을 고려하여 높은 지표거칠기를 반영한 실제 증발산량 모델을 제시하였다. 산출된 실제 증발산량은 Priestley-Taylor 가능 증발산량을 통한 검증(RMSE 1.0179mm/day, BIAS 0.4516mm/day)을 수행하였으며 높은 지표거칠기를 고려한 실제 증발산량이전반적으로 잘 산출되었음을 알 수 있었다.

Al-Si계 필러메탈을 이용한 A1050알루미늄의 브레이징 접합조건에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Brazing Bondinf Conditions of A1050 Using Al-Si Alloy Filler Metal)

  • The brazing of Al to Al using Al-Si alloy filler metal was performed under different bonding conditions such as ratio of lap length to plate thickness, surface roughness and joint clearance of the lap joint. The adopted thickness of the base metal in this experiments were two kinds of 4mm and 7mm which were most commonly used in various field. Influence of several bonding conditions of Al/Al joint was quantitavely evaluated by bonding strength test, and microstructural analysis at the interlayer were performed by optical microscope. From above experiments, the optimum bonding conditions of the brazing bonding of Al/Al using Al-Si alloy filler metal was determined. The major results obtained are as follows. 1) The fracture occurs at brazed joint in the conditions of that the ratio of lap length to plate thickness is less than 2 in case of 7mm plate thickness. 2) The ratio of lap length to plate thickness which the fracture occurs at base metal is decreased with the decreasing of the plate thickness. 3) The joint strength is not affected by the surface roughness and joint clearance of the brazed part. 4) The heat-treatment of the brazed joint contribute to eliminate the boundary between the base metal and filler metal. However, the joint strength is not affected by the heat-treatment.

콘포컬 레이저 현미경을 이용한 불연속면의 거칠기 측정 연구 (A Study of Roughness Measurement of Rock Discontinuities Using a Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope)

  • 새롭게 개발된 레이저 콘포컬 현미경을 이용해 암석 불연속면의 거칠기를 측정하였다. 레이저의 파장은 488 nm이며, 현미경은 두 개의 galvano-meter scanner mirror를 이용한 광 편광법에 의해 제어된다. 레이저 반사를 통한 자동 초점기능은 관찰대상을 빠르고 정확하게 측정할 수 있다. 이 현미경은 기존의 다른 콘포컬 현미경에 비해 광축방향의 해상도를 크게 개선하였고, 특수 제작한 현미경 스테이지를 이용해 최대 $10{\;}{\times}{\;}10{\;}cm$ 까지 크기의 시료를 측정할 수 있다. 측정간격은 x와 y 방향으로 $2.5{\;}\mu\textrm{m}$씩이며, z방향의 최대 측정해상도는 $10{\;}\mu\textrm{m}$로서, 다른 방범에 비해 훨씬 정확하다. 조립질과 세립질의 입도가 다른 화강암을 대상으로 인장시험(Brazilian test)를 통해 인공절리를 생성시켰고, 생성된 좌우의 절리면에 각각 3개씩의 측선을 설정하였다. 각 측선을 따라 측정한 높이는 1차원은 물론 거칠기의 세밀한 양상을 보여주는 2차원과 3차원의 디지털 이미지로 표현된다. 조립질 화강암의 1차원 단면은 세립질보다 불연속면의 기복이 더 심함을 잘 보여준다. 거칠기를 정량적으로 특성화하고 거칠기를 구성하는 성분 중 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 성분을 파악하기 위해 고속퓨리에 변환 (FFT)를 이용한 스펙트럼 분석을 실시하였다. 스펙트럼 분석결과 저주파 성분이 큰 시효의 경우 거칠기의 기복변화가 심하고 긴 파장을 나타내는 경향이 있음을 구명하였다.

평행평판내 비대칭 난류유동과 열전달의 예측 (Prediction of Asymmetric Turbulent Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer in the Parallel Plates)

  • We report on the analytical results of examination of fully developed asymmetric flow and heat transfer between parallel plane plates. The asymmetry was introduced by roughening one of the plane while the other was left smooth. The integral method together with a turbulence model based on modified Prandtl's mixing length theory for the rough was used to determine the velocity distribution and friction. The temperature distrtibution is then predicted and heat transfer coefficients are calculated. The present paper shows that the heat transfer increases more than the friction factor for a given roughness structure. Generally the results show the strong effect of asymmetry on engineering parameters. Furthermore it is the roughness structure which influences the nature of asymmetry and heat transfer.

PCD 공구를 이용한 티타늄 합금의 미세 가공 (Micro Machining of Titanium Alloy Using Polycrystalline Diamond Tools)

  • Micro cutting of titanium alloy by polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tools was studied. Micro electro discharge machining (MEDM) was used to fabricate customized micro shaping tools from PCD blank. The tool was used to machine micro grooves on Ti alloy and the effects of depth of cut and machining length on tool wear, burr and surface roughness were studied. The shaping tool has cutting edge of a few ${\mu}m$. The crater size of the tool surface was increased with increasing capacitance of EDM machining conditions, which was used to control the surface roughness of the machined micro grooves.

  • The surface finishing systems using the micro abrasive film were designed and manufactured to make the mirror surface of the cylindrical workpiece. An experimental study of surface finishing was carried out to investigate the performance of mirror surface finishing system. The surface roughness of stainless steel was about Rmax 0.2~0.25 .mu.m, Ra 0.02~0.04 .mu.m in abrasive grain size 12, 9 .mu.m. the surface roughness of chrome coated workpiece was about Rmax 0.07~ 0.11 .mu. m, Ra 0.01 in abrasive grain size 3 .mu. m. Also, to measure the mirror finishing time by mirror surface finishing system, the experiment was carried out on the chrome coated and ground roller of diameter 76mm and length 650mm. The finishing time and surface roughness were 40min and Rmax 0.1~0.13 .mu.m, Ra 0.01 .mu.m.

  • In this study, the characteristics of the cavitation behavior around hydrofoil are investigated with the commercial CFD code CFX-5. Calculations are performed for NACA 64108 hydrofoil by solving the time-averaged turbulent Navier-Stokes equations and discretized by finite volume method. We classify the different cavitating regimes in which appear at the hydrofoil according to the values of cavitation number, surface roughness and angle of attack. Special attention is paid to the following topics: cavity length, void fraction and lift breakdown.

드릴가공에서 강재의 피삭성에 관한 연구 (A Study On the Machinability of Steels by Drilling)

  • In order to predict analytically torque, thrust force, tool life and chip formation in drilling, cutting models for chisel edge with various tool-chip contact length were developed in this type. Also, the experimental tests are run with various pilot holes. The following conclusions were obtained from the analysis. \circled1 It's also found experimentally that thrust force(Fz) decreases as pilot hole diameter increases. \circled2 Surface roughness for material(G) is larger that for material(J). The difference over two materials in roughness value about 0.5$mu extrm{m}$. \circled3 Flank wear of the drill in cutting material of G less than any other kinds of materials(F, G, H, I, J). \circled4 In drilling a deep hole on a workpiece over SM45C either twist drill. The chip was conical helix type at the fist suspensely change the two segment type and than two a long pitch helix style.

  • When considering the proper function and life cycle length of a product, its surface finish plays an important role. This experimental study was carried out to understand the effect of input factors on surface roughness and how it can be minimized by controlling the input parameters. This experimental work was performed by machining the surface of STD 61 blocks with a surface inclined at $30^{\circ}$ by ball end-milling and optimizing the input parameters using the Taguchi technique. Signal-to-Noise (S/N) ratio and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were applied to find the significance of the input parameters. The optimum level of input parameters to minimize surface roughness was obtained.

  • A FinFET, a novel double-gate device structure is capable of scaling well into the nanoelectronics regime. High-performance CMOS FinFETs , fully depleted silicon-on-insulator (FDSOI) devices have been demonstrated down to 15 nm gate length and are relatively simple to fabricate, which can be scaled to gate length below 10 nm. In this paper, some of the key elements of these technologies are described including sub-lithographic pattering technology, raised source/drain for low series resistance, gate work-function engineering for threshold voltage adjustment as well as metal gate technology, channel roughness on carrier mobility, crystal orientation effect, reliability issues, process variation effects, and device scaling limit.
