RLS 기법을 이용한 유도전동기의 속도센서없는 벡터제어 (Speed-Sensorless Vector Control of an Induction Motor Using Recursive Least Square Algorithm)

  • This paper is on realization of the speed-sensorless vector control of an induction motor using the RLS(Recursive Least Square) algorithm. The speed estimator is including the RLS algorithm and a rotor flux observer. The RLS algorithm has speed and rotor time constant as parameter vectors and rotor flux observer is designed to have robustness to stator resistance variation and through the IP(Integral and Proportional) speed controller stable performance is obtained for estimating rotor speed. Finally the total algorithm are realized in induction motor drive system and its effectiveness is verified.

  • The advantage of the squirrel cage induction motor is the brush less rotor. This advantage for operation and maintenance turns out to be a disadvantage for the detection of the cage rotor bar and endring defects, which means that the detection of cage faults is due to the measurement and analysis of only the stator input signals. The monitoring task in an inverter drive is complicated mainly because the voltage and current waveforms are nonsinusoidal and the high dv/dt values from fast switching inverterd distort the measurements. In this paper, we are going to discuss the detection method of broken rotor bar of the inverter fed squirrel cage induction motor by the motor current signature analysis(MCSA) and the opening terminal voltage signal analysis.

  • In this paper, dual rotor disk configuration with a coreless stator is proposed for the Lorentz force type integrated motor bearing system. An experimental compensation for the effects of high order harmonics is performed using the digital controller of the experimental setup. The runout profile and rotor unbalance are also identified by the extended influence coefficient method. The experimental results confirm that this compensation method effectively attenuates the rotor vibration all over the operating range of rotational speed.

  • The single phase switched reluctance motor(SRM) is simpler in control circuit because the number of switching devices is fewer than the poly phase SRM. The energy density per unit volume is very big because all stator poles are excited simultaneously by a single switching power source. But it must be provided a starting device on account of not being generated the starting torque at specific rotor positions. And also it has some demerits that have a torque ripple, noise and vibration because of being excited by switching pulse power source. Therefore, to make up for these demerits, it is realized many studies for the structure design used by computer and the operating methods by power electronics technique. In this paper, we'll present the comparison of the single phase SRM with the various rotor pole face types, as like stepped rotor pole face type and general rotor pole face type.   • This paper deals with the vector control that control of torque and speed of the induction motor using field-oriented control method. Rotor flux is estimated using the indirect sensing method based on the rotor circuit equation in the synchronously rotation reference frame, and slip angle and rotor position are caculated from rotor angular velocity and stator current. Through modeling and digital simulation with a voltage source inverter, it is shown that the proposed scheme gives good static and dynamic performance to the induction motor drive.

  • Switched Reluctance motors(SRM) attract much attention in motor because they are reliable and inexpensive. With advance in power electronics and high-speed processors the performance of SRM has been enhanced greatly. But they require rotor position information to operate, In many systems rotor position sensors are undesirable and have disadvantages. To overcome the disadvantages include by position sensors a number of sensorless methods for SRM's have been proposed by researchers. This paper describes a method for indirect sensing of rotor position in SRM's pulsewidth modulation voltage control. The method required no priori knowledge of motor parameters excepts for the number of stator and rotor poles. The detection method uses the change of the derivative of the phase current to detect the position.

  • The E-Core Transverse Flux Machine is a different design of transverse flux machines combined with reluctance principle. Determination of the rotor position is important for the movement of the ETFM by switching the phase currents in synchronism with the inductance regions of the stator windings. It is the first time that rotor position estimation based on Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is purposed to eliminate the position sensor for the ETFM. Simulation and experimental tests are demonstrated for the feasibility of the proposed estimation algorithm for the exercise bike application of the ETFM.

  • 본 논문에서는 항공우주연구원에서 개발중인 1단 저압 축류압축기 성능시험리그의 개발에 대한 내용을 소개하고자 한다. 성능시험리그는 유동 입구부, 동익단, 정익단, 축, 리그 하우징, 베어링 하우징 및 유동 출구부로 구성되어 있다. 로터와 회전축을 단순화하여 회전동역학 해석 결과를 바탕으로 회전축을 설계하고 입 출구 유로의 유동해석을 통해서 시험리그 형상설계를 최적화하였다.

  • In this paper, a new method for detecting rotor vibrations in a squirrel-cage induction motor is proposed. The air-gap flux variation analysis was done using search coils inserted in stator slots when rotor vibration conditions occurs. An accurate modelling and analysis of air-gap flux variation in the induction motor are developed using finite-element (FE) software packages, and treasuring the flux are made using search coils. In the FE analysis and experiment, the three-phase squirrel-gage induction motor with 380 [V], 7.5 [kW], 4 Poles, 1,768 [rpm] ratings is used. The simulation and experiment results can be useful for detecting rotor vibration of the induction motors.

  • This paper presents a position sensorless control system of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) using neural network. The control of SRM depends on the commutation of the stator phases in synchronism with the rotor position. The position sensing requirement increases the overall cost and complexity. In this paper, the current-flux-rotor position lookup table based position sensorless operation of SRM is presented. Neural network is used to construct the current-flux-rotor position lookup table, and is trained by sufficient experimental data. Experimental results for a 1-hp SRM is presented for the verification of the proposed sensorless algorithm.
