유도전동기 회전자 제작시 압입작업 평가 II (Evaluations of Swaging Process for Rotor Core of Induction Motors II)

  • 유도전동기 회전자는 rotor core를 일정한 높이로 쌓은 후 rotor core slot에 Cu bar를 열박음(shrinkage fit)작업으로 고정한 후 Cu bar 표면을 punch로 길이방향, 원주방향으로 순차적으로 압입(swaging)하여 제작된다. 본 연구에서는 Cu bar 표면을 압입할 때 Cu bar 표면에 발생하는 압입깊이, 잔류응력 분포 그리고 rotor core slot과 Cu bar 접촉면에 작용하는 접촉력(contact force)을 평가하고자 하였다. 한편 실제의 압입작업은 복잡한 3차원 문제이나 수치해석적인 접근을 위하여 단순화된 2차원 cyclic symmetry 해석모델을 개발하였으며 이러한 해석모델을 사용하여 일정한 압입압력에서 4가지 종류의 Cu bar 형상에 대하여 압입량과 접촉력을 평가하였다. 탄소성 수치해석 결과 1) sample Cu bar block model을 사용하여 단순화된 2차원 수치해석 모델을 개발하였고 2) rotor core 압입작업시 일정한 압입압력에서 Cu bar 표면의 압입량은 Cu bar 형상에 크게 관계없이 거의 일정하며 3) 압입작업시 punch에 가해지는 압입압력으로부터 rotor core slot과 Cu bar 접촉면에 작용하는 총 접촉력을 추정할 수 있는 근사식을 제안하였다.

  • The predictive maintenance can help to avoid the serious plant breakdowns and catastrophies. This paper deals with the fault diagnosis of the rotor of the induction motor which is widely used in the plants. In order to detect the broken bar, the Extended Kalman Filter is adopted to estimate the rotor resistance on the base of model-based method. The proposed estimation method is simulated with the aid of Matlab.

  • The speed-torque characteristics of the squirrel cage induction motor is determined by the rotor resistance. This paper presents the fabrication and test results of an HTS induction motor. Conventional end rings and short bars were replaced with HTS tapes in the rotor. Test result shows that the speeds of the HTS induction motor were the same with synchronous speed up to 10Nm.

  • The accurate identification of the motor parameters is crucially important to achieve high dynamic performance of induction motors. In this paper, the motor parameters such as rotor resistance, stator(rotor) leakage inductance, mutual inductance are measured for torque monitoring and indirect vector control. To demonstrate the practical significance of the results, some experimental results are presented.

  • Based on a field-oriented model of induction motor, adaptive backstepping approach using neural network(RBFN) is proposed for the control of induction motor in this paper. In order to achieve the speed regulation with the consideration of avoiding singularity and improving power efficiency, rotor angular speed and flux amplitude tracking objectives are formulated. rotor resistance uncertainty is compensated by adaptive backstepping and mechanical lumped uncertainty such as load torque disturbance, inertia moment, friction by RBFN. Simulation is provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

  • In the vector-controlled induction machine drive, mechanical sensors restrict the wide applications of high performance AC drives. So in resent years, many papers have been presented which doesn't need mechanical sensors, named by sensorless vector control. But sensorless control has a few serious problem, one of which Is poor speed estimation in case of incorrect rotor resistance (Rr) information. This paper describes the stator flux orientation speed control strategy with the speed estimation algorithm. and the method of adapting Rr change due to thermal heating. By proposed method. We can acquire precise speed estimation and higher performance.

  • It is well known that the stator-flux-oriented induction motor drives are not dependent on parameter detuning in constant torque region except low speed range. This paper presents parameter detuning effects of stator-flux-oriented induction motor drives in constant torque region. The detuning effects of stator resistance, rotor resistance and rotor leakage inductance are analyzed.

  • In this paper, a maximum efficiency control technique of real-time processing in which parameter variation is compensated in vector control of an induction motors(I.M.) is proposed. Based on equivalent model of I.M., a loss minimization factor(LMF) with the variations of speed is derived. To solve problem of inaccuracy of LMF curves due to machine parameter variation, rotor resistance estimation is performed by using instantaneous reactive power. The estimated rotor resistance values are applied to the maximum efficiency control with a LMF.

  • This paper presents a parameter identification method to estimate the stator resistance. stator inductance, rotor resistance and rotor inductance of the induction motor. A step voltage is applied across the stator terminals while the machine is in the standstill condition, and the resulting stator voltage and current response are measured. Observer/Kalman Filter Identification(OKID) algorithm is used to estimate induction motor parameters. Simulation results are presented to verify the identified model.
