평판지지 회전기계의 최적마운트 설계 (Optimal Mounts Design for a Rotation Machine on a Flexible Plate)

  • 탄성 평판에 왕복압축기를 설치할때의 최적마운트 설계문제를 다루었다. 마운트 부재로 네 개의 짧은 중공 고무원통(hollow rubber cylinder)을 사용하여 설계변수로서 고무원통의 두께, 지름, 높이, 그리고 설치위치를 고려한다. 최소 힘 전달율을 주는 최적마운트 매개변수 결정에는 구속 로젠브록법을 이용한다.

  • In this paper, search method and sliding mode observer are developed for efficiency optimization of induction motor. The proposed control scheme consists of efficiency controller and adaptive backstepping controller. A search controller for which information of input of fuzzy controller is included in efficiency controller that uses a direct vector controlled induction motor. The search controller is based on the "Rosenbrock" method and finds the flux level at the minimum input power of induction motor. Once this optimal flux level has been determined, this information is utilized to update the rule base of a fuzzy controller A sliding mode observer is designed to estimate rotor flux and an adaptive backstepping controller is also used to compensate for mechanical uncertainties in the speed control of induction motor. Simulation results are presented to validate the proposed controller.

  • 디스크립터(Descriptor) 표현은 상태공간 표현을 확장시킨 일반적인 시스템의 기술방법으로 파라미터의 물리적인 구조를 보존하고 있으며, 임펄스를 포함한 현상을 기술할 수 있다. 또한, 대규모 시스템의 모델화가 용이하며, 프로퍼(Proper)이지 않은 시스템을 기술할 수 있고 구속조건을 가진 동적시스템의 기술이 가능하는 등의 특징을 지니고 있다. 그러나, 디스크립터 시스템의 해는 미분항을 포함하고 있으므로 노이즈 및 파라미터 변동에 대해서 매우 민감하여, 관측기설계시 강인(Robust)한 관측기설계가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 디스크립터 시스템에 대해 로바스트 관측기의 일종인 비례적분(PI) 관측기의 설계에 대해서 논한다. 먼저, 디스크립터 시스템에 대한 PI 관측기의 존재조건을 유도하였으며, 체계적인 설계법을 보였다. 또한, PI 관측기의 존재조건이 Rosenbrock의 가관측 조건하에서 간단히 보여지며, 이것은 시스템 행렬의 Rank 조건에 의해 쉽게 구해질 수 있다.

  • In this paper, the decrease multipoint search method and Its learning algorithm for optimum value computatlon method of object function Is proposed. Using this method, the number of evaluation point according to searching time can t)e reduced multipoint of the direct search method by applying the unlivarlate method. And the learning algorithm can reprat the same search method in a new established boundary by using the searched result. In order to Investigate the efficience of algorithm, this method this method is applied to Rosenbrock and Powell, Colvelle function that are Impossible or uncertain in traditional direct search method. And the result of application, the optimum value searching oil every function Is successful. Especially, the algorithm is certified as a good calculation method for producing global(absolute) optimum value.

수도성장 및 수량예측을 위한 동적모형 SIMRIW의 적용 (Application of Dynamic Model SIMRIW for Predicting the Growth and Yield of Rice)

  • A simplified physiologically-based dynamic model, SIMRIW was selected for predicting the growth and yield of rice. The applicability of the model to the rice cultivars and weather conditions in the Republic of Korea was evaluated. Parameters of the model were calibrated using actual rice yields in Suweon region and an optimization scheme, Constrained Rosenbrock Algorithm. The simulated results from the calibrated model were in good agreement with the field data. The model with parameters calibrated for Suweon was applied to other five regions for the evaluation of transferability, but the simulated results fell short of satisfaction. However, the model is found to be applied to real-time prediction of the growth and yield of rice crop, which is believed to be useful for timely rice crop management, agricultural policy making, and optimal irrigation water management.

  • 뉴럴네트워크에서 학습은 에러를 줄이는 방법으로 구현 된다. 이 때 parameter 공간에서 Risk function은 multi-minima potential로 표현 될 수 있으며 우리의 목적은 global minimum weight 좌표를 얻는 것이다. 이전의 연구로는 Attouch et al.의 damped oscillator 방정식을 이용한 방법이 있고, Qian의 critically damped oscillator를 통한 steepest descent의 momentum과 learning parameter 유도가 있다. 우리는 이 두 연구를 참고로 manifold 상에서 최단 경로인 geodesic을 Newton 역학의 Lagrangian에 적용함으로써 adaptive steepest descent 학습법을 얻었다. 우리는 이 새로운 방법을 Rosenbrock 과 Griewank 포텐셜들에 적용하여 그 성능을 알아 본다.

  • The Nyquist robust stability margin is proposed as a measure of robust stability for systems with Affine TFM(Transfer Function Matrix) parametric uncertainty. The parametric uncertainty is modeled through a Affine TFM MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) description with dead-time, and the unstructured uncertainty through a bounded perturbation of Affine polynomials. Gershgorin's theorem and concepts of diagonal dominance and GB(Gershgorin Bands) are extended to include model uncertainty. Multiloop PI/PID controllers can be tuned by using a modified version of the Ziegler-Nichols (ZN) relations. Consequently, this paper provides sufficient conditions for the robustness of Affine TFM MIMO uncertain systems with dead-time based on Rosenbrock's DNA. Simulation examples show the performance and efficiency of the proposed multiloop design method for Affine uncertain systems with dead-time.

Assessment of three optimization techniques for calibration of watershed model

  • In this study, three optimization techniques efficiency is assessed for calibration of the GR4J model for streamflow simulation in Selmacheon, Boryeong Dam and Kyeongancheon watersheds located in South Korea. The Penman-Monteith equation is applied to estimate the potential evapotranspiration, model calibration, and validation is carried out using the readily available daily hydro-meteorological data. The Shuffled Complex Evolution-University of Arizona(SCE-UA), Uniform Adaptive Monte Carlo (UAMC), and Coupled Latin Hypercube and Rosenbrock (CLHR) optimization techniques has been used to evaluate the robustness, performance and optimized parameters of the three catchments. The result of the three algorithms performances and optimized parameters are within the recommended ranges in the tested watersheds. The SCE-UA and CLHR outputs are found to be similar both in efficiency and model parameters. However, the UAMC algorithms performances differently in the three tested watersheds.

  • This paper deals with the performance comparison of a PSO algorithm inspired in the process of simulating the behavior pattern of the organisms. The PSO algorithm finds the optimal solution (fitness value) of the objective function based on a stochastic process. Generally, the stochastic process, a random function, is used with the expression related to the velocity included in the PSO algorithm. In this case, the random function of the normal distribution (Gaussian) or uniform distribution are mainly used as the random function in a PSO algorithm. However, in this paper, because the probability distribution which is various with 2 shape parameters can be expressed, the performance comparison of a PSO algorithm using the beta probability distribution function, that is a random function which has a high degree of freedom, is introduced. For performance comparison, 3 functions (Rastrigin, Rosenbrock, Schwefel) were selected among the benchmark Set. And the convergence property was compared and analyzed using PSO-FIW to find the optimal solution.

최소자승법을 이용한 준설토 문제의 System Identification (System Identification on Dredged Soil Problems using Least Square Method)

  • This paper is a research about system identification which optimizes uncertain geothechnical properties from the data measured during geotechnical design and construction. Various numerical optimization algorithms of Simplex method, Powell method, Rosenbrock method and Levenberg-Marquardt method were applied to the excavation problem to determine which method showed the best results with respect to robustness of success in finding an optimal solution to within a certain accuracy and number of function evaluations. From the results of numerical analysis, all of four algorithms are converged to exact solution after satisfying the allowed criteria, and Levenberg-Marquardt's algorithms was identified to be the most efficient method in number of function evaluations. System identification was applied to geotechnical engineering problems, possibly being occurred in field, to verify its applicability : estimation of settlement due to self-weight consolidation in dredged and filled soil. For self-weight consolidational settlement of a dredged soil, a program of evaluating the constitutive relationship of effective stress-void ratio-permeability was developed by using the technique of system identification. Thus, consolidational characteristics of a dredged soil, having a very high initial void ratio, can be evaluated.
