The Effects of Brand Experience on the Perceived Value of Customers in China and Korea

  • Purpose: This study investigates causal relationships among brand experience, perceived value and brand support behavior in both Chinese and Korean consumers, and also examines the moderating effects of interaction with customers in the relationships between brand experience and perceived value. Research design, data and methodology: Three research were presented and examined empirically in this study. First research question is about relationships among brand experience, perceived value and brand support behavior. Second is about the moderating role of interaction with customers and third is about the differences in the causal relationships between China consumers and Korean consumers. A total of 377 samples who had visited theme parks in China and Korea were surveyed. Results: Sensory experience, emotional experience, and cognitive experience have significant causal relationships with perceived value in Both Chinese and Korean consumers. Perceived value has a positive effect on brand support behavior and interaction with customer has a moderating effect between brand experience variables and perceived value in Both Chinese and Korean consumers. Second, the causal relationship between behavioral experience and perceived value is not significant in Both Chinese and Korean consumers. Third, there were significant differences in the effects of emotional experience and cognitive experience on perceived value between Chinese consumers and Korean consumers. Conclusions: Managers of theme park industry should design experience programs considering various brand experience variables for both Chines consumers and Korean consumers. Second, it is necessary to raise the level of customer interaction between employees and customers.

다채널 쇼핑과 고객만족: 쇼핑경험과 고객-기업 관계특성의 역할 (Multichannel Shopping and Customer Satisfaction: The Role of Shopping Experience and Customer-Firm Relationship Characteristics)

  • 최근의 유통환경에서 다채널 고객관리(multichannel customer management)가 실무적 및 이론적으로 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 기업수준에서 소비자의 다채널 쇼핑이 기업성과를 제고하는 것과 밀접한 관련성이 있는 것으로 알려져 있으나 이론적으로 이러한 결과가 발생하는 원인에 대하여 채널 중심적으로 제한적이고 예측적인 설명만이 이루어져 왔다. 이러한 상황에서 본 연구는 다채널 쇼핑의 기업성과 증대의 원인으로서 고객만족과의 관계에 대한 심층적인 이해를 위하여 다채널 이용-쇼핑경험-고객만족의 연결을 체계적이고 실증적으로 검토하였다. 이와 더불어 고객유형 별 차별화된 쇼핑경험 제공의 필요성을 설명하기 위하여 다채널 이용과 쇼핑경험과의 관계에서 고객-기업 관계특성의 조절적 역할을 검토하였다. 다채널 유통업체의 660명의 고객을 대상으로 설문조사와 고객 데이터베이스를 통합한 자료를 바탕으로 가설검증을 수행하였다. 다채널 이용을 구매의사결정과정에서의 정보탐색과 제품구매 단계에서의 다채널 이용으로 구분하고 쇼핑경험을 편리성과 즐거움으로 구분하여 검토한 결과 다채널 이용과 고객만족과의 관계에서 쇼핑경험은 매개변수로서의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 즉, 기업의 다채널 고객관리 목적은 고객의 쇼핑목적으로서 편리성과 즐거움을 제공하여야 고객만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 또한 고객-기업 관계특성으로서 관계기간과 구매빈도를 대상으로 검토한 결과 다채널 이용과 즐거움과의 관계에서 구매빈도는 조절변수로서의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 다채널 전략의 목표설정 및 차별화된 다채널 고객관리 관점에서 이론적 및 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

임상간호사의 성별, 성역할정체감에 따른 병원폭력 경험과 병원폭력에 대한 태도 (Experience of Violence and Hospital Violence Attitude according to Gender and Gender-Role Identity of Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study aims to examine differences in experiences of violence and hospital violence attitude according to gender and gender-role identity of clinical nurses. Methods: The quota sampling method, was used to select the research subjects. They were divided into two groups male and female nurses who worked for three general hospitals or higher level-hospitals in Incheon and Gyeongbuk. The data of 219 subjects was used for final analysis. The IBM SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the data t-test and ANOVA. Results: According to gender, the hospital violence experience of female nurses was oserved frequently when the verbal violence came from guardians, and when the physical threats came from others. For male nurses, the experiences of hospital violence was obserbed. According to gender, the hospital violence attitude revealed significant differences in female nurses that the negative attitude was higher (t=-4.69, p<.001). According to gender-role identity, the undifferentiated and femininity showed significant differences (F=4.86 p=.003). Conclusion: The differentiated strategies of coping measures and violence preventive education considering the gender and gender-role identity of clinical nurses would help formulate measures for the effective management of hospital violence.

대전시 중·고등학생의 다문화사회 인식과 다문화교육 경험이 문화적 민감성에 미치는 영향: 다문화교육 필요성 인식의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Multicultural Society Recognition and Multicultural Education Experience on Cultural Sensitivity of Middle and High School Students in Daejeon: Focusing on the Mediating Role of Multicultural Education Needs Perception)

  • The objective of this study is to underline the important role of needs for multicultural education in the formation of middle and high school students' cultural sensitivity for the sake of coping multicultural society. This study focuses on how adolescents' multicultural society recognition and education experiences shape and influence their cultural sensitivity, with the mediating role of multicultural education needs perception. A survey 303 middle school students and 236 high school students Daejeon was conducted. The results of this study as follows. First, high school students' open minded and social participation were significantly higher than those of middle school students, while the latter multicultural education experience level was higher than the former. Second, it was found that multicultural society recognition and education experiences have an indirect impact on cultural sensitivity mediating multicultural education needs perception as well as have a direct effect. However, adolescents' cultural sensitivity was shaped by mediating role of multicultural education needs perception rather than by direct effect of multicultural society recognition and education experiences. A major contribution of this research is the identification of the role of multicultural education needs perception in fostering adolescents' cultural sensitivity.

간접 경험 및 롤 모델이 창업의지에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Indirect Experiences and Role Models on Entrepreneurial Intentions)

  • 본 연구는 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 어떤 요인이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는지에 대해 실증적으로 분석하기 위해 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 창업의지에 미치는 영향요인으로 자아성취동기, 간접경험, 롤모델, 사업가에 대한 인식, 실패부담감을 독립변수로 설정하였다. 이를 실증적으로 분석하기 위하여 일반인을 대상으로 유효한 데이터 399개를 분석 대상으로 하였다. 통계분석에는 SPSS 25.0를 활용하였다. 본 연구의 실증 분석 결과, 자아성취동기, 간접경험, 롤모델, 사업가에 대한 인식, 실패부담감은 창업의지에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 요인 중에서도 자아성취동기가 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였으며, 이론형 창업강좌, 창업특강, 부모나 지인들의 창업 유무 등 간접경험과 롤모델이 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 것을 실증적으로 분석하였다는 측면에서 의의가 있다.

  • 본 연구는 전시매체적 상이성에 따른 미적 경험을 비교하기 위해, 문헌연구와 <풍경으로 보는 인상주의전(展)(이하 인상주의전)>과 <모네, 빛을 그리다전(展)(이하 모네전)>의 사용자 경험에 대한 정량적 연구를 병행했다. 감상태도의 관점에서, 두 전시에서 공통적으로 두 가지의 지각방식이 공존했다. 인상주의전에서는 집중적 지각이 우세했고, 모네전에서는 분산적 지각이 높았지만, 모네전에서만 집중적 지각의 전시만족도 및 전시몰입도에 대한 영향력이 입증되었다. 관람객 역할 측면에서는 두 전시에서 공통적으로 수동적 역할에 대한 비중이 높았으며, 관람객 역할은 지각방식 뿐만 아니라 전시만족도 및 전시몰입도에 영향을 미치지 못했다. 인상주의전의 경우, 미적경험요소에 대한 평가가 높게 제시되었으며, 사전지식의 활용은 관람객의 역할에 긍정적인 영향력으로 작용했다. 본 연구를 통해 전통적인 예술작품에 익숙한 관람객들은 디지털 전시에 대해서도 수동적 역할을 취하면서 두 가지의 지각방식에 의존한다는 사실이 확인되었다. 결론적으로 디지털 기술을 통한 재매개는 전시의 매체적 상이성에 따른 감상태도 및 관람객 역할에 대한 이분법적 논리의 경계를 모호하게 만들었으며, 이로 인해 명화 기반의 디지털 전시는 전통적인 예술작품 및 디지털 미디어의 특성을 동시에 갖는다는 것이 주요 시사점이라 할 수 있다.

  • National curriculum for environmental education recommends various teaching-learning methods including survey and discussion of environmental problems, investigation of case studies, experiments, role play, and field-experience learning in addition to the traditional lecture-oriented teaching methods. The field experience learning in environmental education is considered to be a good method to develop environmentally sound attitude and to cultivate environmental sensitivity, but here has been very limited research concerning models for field-experience learning. The aim of this study is to develop a model of the field-experience learning program of environmental education utilizing environmental facilities. In this study a kind of such a basic model was developed and presented. The developed basic model of the field-experience learning was applied to the case utilizing landfill facilities. A specific application of the landfill program to the Bangcheon-ri landfill, in Daegu, was also presented with related teaching materials developed in this studies. And various aspects in the program was discussed.

  • The purpose of this research is to present basic data for the residents, experts, and administrators to establish sustainable and future-oriented experience villages by investigating the operational realities of rural and mountain experience villages that have currently been promoted as the government-supported projects. First, in order to establish a sustainable experience village, each of the residents, experts and administrators who are the principal agents for cultivating the village should perform their role appropriately and build an organic cooperative system. The residents should have a sense of ownership and form a sense of solidarity by organizing communal consultation system. The experts should be able to present feasible project plans. The administrators need to have posture of understanding from the viewpoint of residents. In order to establish sustainable experience villages, ecological, cultural, and social values should be conveyed preferentially, and through this, the living spaces like farm villages should be formed.

The Effect of Ideal Avatar on Virtual Brand Experience in XR Platform

  • Purpose: This study aims to verify whether avatars that embody different brand concepts offer different experiences to users. Furthermore, this study explores the relationship between user identification with avatars and their actual brand purchase intentions. Research design, data and methodology: The research design employed a between-subjects approach, with two independent variables: brand concept and avatar. The measured dependent variables were brand experience in extended reality (XR) and purchase intention. Additionally, brand attitude served as a control variable. Results: First, in virtual brand spaces with symbolic benefits, ideal avatars were found to elicit higher levels of brand experience than actual avatars. Specifically, participants reported elevated levels of entertainment and relational assembly experiences in symbolic brand spaces. Second, this research reveals that the relationship between users' identification with avatars and their intention to make actual brand purchases is mediated by brand experience in XR. Conclusions: The findings suggest that ideal avatars evoke higher levels of brand experience within symbolic brand spaces, particularly in entertainment, relational connection, and a sense of community. Furthermore, this study establishes the role of brand experience in XR as a mediator between avatar identification and purchase intentions.

The Tidal Flat Environments and Experiential Learning Program of Southwest Coast, Korea

  • Ecosystems of the southwestern tidal flats in Korean peninsula have been seriously injured by human activities. The results are mainly due to the lack of public recognition and education on tidal flats. In particular, thoughtless visitors in tidal flats are giving rise up damages because of non-systematic experience programs to tidal flat ecosystems. Therefore, experience programs friendly to natural tidal flats are necessary as a plan to reserve tidal flats and to enhance the effects of environment education on the flats. Experience learning programs on tidal flats can divide into direct experience, indirect experience and local society works. Direct experience work must undergo tidal flats directly and consider on forming the flats with natural refinement functions. Indirect experience includes deeper knowledge on role, circumstance and ecosystems of the flats on the bases of direct experience on the flats. In addition, local society learning must have the feeling and understanding on socio-cultural characteristics of local society itself through above two works. Experience activity would be a kind of injuring one to tidal flats. However, appropriately planned experience and education works on tidal flats could be sustainable development to attract desirable human activity on coastal ecosystems.
