GIS Buffering기법을 이용한 대중교통취약지구 선정방법 (Selection method of public transportation vulnerable area using GIS buffering analysis)

  • Public transportation network in our country is concentrated and advanced focusing on urban area in order to secure economic feasibility. As a result, as dependence on private vehicles is relatively getting higher in public transportation vulnerable area, traffic problem occurs since the average running speed in urban area is 22.5km/h. This paper has an objective to suggest an improvement plan by selecting public transportation vulnerable area, and defining according to urban structure, formation and function, and understand traffic characteristics and draw problems. As a method selecting public transportation vulnerable area, an area with high division rate of vehicle was selected as a primary proposed site by calculating division rate of means of public transportation according to area. Final proposed site was selected by using GIS Buffering technique aiming at selected proposed site, and selecting non-benefit area 500m outside, which is the road limit distance from each subway and bus station. Lastly, the degree of improvement effect was studied by constructing imaginary public transportation network aiming at final proposed site and comparing to the amount of change in division rate of means of transportation.

오르막 경사구간에서 중차량 속도감소를 고려한 아스팔트 포장구조체 내부거동 분석 (Estimation of Asphalt Pavement Internal Behavior under Decreasing Truck Speed on Uphill Lanes)

  • PURPOSES : This study estimated an asphalt pavement internal behavior under uphill lanes considering reducing speed of heavy truck on uphill slope. METHODS : Truck performance curve which has been adapted to "Korea Highway Capacity Manual" was analyzed. And asphalt pavement internal behaviors were estimated with Multi-layered elastic analysis using KPRP(Korea Pavement Research Program) dynamic modulus prediction equations. RESULTS : As a result, it is shown that when the standard truck drives 2.0 km at a speed of 80 km/h in 8% climbing slope, it's speed reduced to 25.4 km/h, at same time frequency in asphalt layer decrease to 67.2% and it's dynamic modulus degrades to 30.9%. Based on these results, internal behavior as decreasing vehicle speed on uphill lanes were estimated. CONCLUSIONS : From the results of Multi-layered elastic analysis, internal behavior showed that when the standard truck drives 2.0 km at a speed of 80 km/h in 8% slope on uphill lanes, vertical strain was increased to 44.4% at the bottom of surface course, and lateral tensile strain was increased to 20.5% at the bottom of base course.

과속방지턱 설치규격 검토를 위한 동역학적 분석 (Dynamic Analysis for Evaluation of Speed Control Hump Dimensions)

  • 본 연구는 과속방지턱의 설치규격 특성을 검토하기 위하여 동역학적 이론을 기반으로 분석을 수행하였다. 먼저 과속방지턱에 대한 현장조사를 통해 기하구조 자료를 수집하여 현행 설치기준과 비교 분석하였으며, 차량과 운전자를 일체화시킨 단자유도 모델링 방법을 이용하여 충격하중에 의한 변위응답 스펙트럼을 구하였다. 해석 결과 과속방지턱의 폭과 높이는 커질수록 운전자에게 미치는 심리적 부담감이 커지나 과도한 불편함을 초래하지 않도록 크기를 결정해야 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 과속방지턱의 폭과 높이의 비율은 운전자가 느끼는 수직가속도의 크기를 지배하므로 폭과 높이의 조화도 고려하여 과속방지턱을 설치하여야 한다.

22.9kV 배전선로 비행점검 방법 적용에 관한 연구 (The Study on Application of Flying Inspection Method for the 22.9kV Distribution Line)

  • This paper describes flying inspection apparatus for 22.9kV distribution line. This apparatus is composed of multi-copter(more than 4 propellers), camcorder and remote controller. The existing inspections, such as hot-line inspection job and optical inspection method and distribution Line Checking Robot, have many restrictions. A electric working vehicle and hot-line job license are essential in hot-line inspection job. Besides its high cost, it can't be applied to the electric pole over 18m and road-blocked area. Optical method can't inspect upper side of electric facilities mounted on the electric pole. Robot method can't be applied to the corroded overhead earth wire and nothing of overhead earth wire. To solve the problems, in Korea Electric Power Co., we have applied flying inspection apparatus to the 22.9kV distribution line. The results of trial application show that this paper is practical and effective for the inspection technical method in 22.9kV distribution line

  • 최근 ITS(Intelligent Transportation System)와 관련된 연구들이 활발하게 진행되면서 정보화 사회에 알맞은 차세대 교통정보 체계를 구축하는데 일조하고 있다. 도로상의 차량 속도 및 교통 정보를 실시간으로 감지할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하여 운전자에게 정보를 제공함으로써 전체 교통 상황의 흐름에 좋은 영향을 끼칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 각기 다른 근원지로부터 제공되는 실시간 교통 정보를 가공하여 보다 신뢰적인 실시간 교통정보를 제공하는 알고리즘을 개발하고 이를 적용하는 플랫폼 구축에 관한 연구이다.

CAE를 이용한 휠 내구성능 동역학 해석을 위한 연구 (The Study on Dynamic Analysis of Durability of a Wheel using CAE)

  • There is a certain limit to reproduce phenomena between the real vehicle and road, since the existing methods to verify durability of the wheel are mostly uni-axial tests. And the change of durability of the wheel can't be predicted since these tests don't consider the camber angle and lateral force as important factors. In this paper, the FE models of the wheel-tire and drum are created. Then, the vertical and lateral loads are applied to wheel-tire assembly and the camber angle is applied by inclining the wheel-tire assembly to the drum. Based on the analysis result, the crack position is predicted to be created in the body of the wheel. The variation of the stress according to the camber angle is verified and the maximum spot of the stress changes continually.

  • Autonomous vehicles must obey the traffic laws in order to drive actual roads. Traffic signs erected at the side of roads explain the road traffic information or regulations. Therefore, traffic sign recognition is necessary for the autonomous vehicles. In this paper, color characteristics are first considered to detect traffic sign candidates. Subsequently, we establish HOG (Histogram of Oriented Gradients) features from the detected candidate and recognize the traffic sign through a SVM (Support Vector Machine). However, owing to various circumstances, such as changes in weather and lighting, it is difficult to recognize the traffic signs robustly using only SVM. In order to solve this problem, we propose a tracking algorithm with RANSAC-based motion estimation. Using two-point motion estimation, inlier feature points within the traffic sign are selected and then the optimal motion is calculated with the inliers through a bundle adjustment. This approach greatly enhances the traffic sign recognition performance.

  • Video images captured by vehicle cameras often contain blurry or dithering frames due to inadvertent motion from bumps in the road or by insufficient illumination during the morning or evening, which greatly reduces the perception of objects expression and recognition from the records. Therefore, a real-time electronic stabilization method to correct fuzzy video from driving recorders has been proposed. In the first stage of feature detection, a coarse-to-fine inspection policy and a scale nonlinear diffusion filter are proposed to provide more accurate keypoints. Second, a new antiblurry binary descriptor and a feature point selection strategy for unintentional estimation are proposed, which brought more discriminative power. In addition, a new evaluation criterion for affine region detectors is presented based on the percentage interval of repeatability. The experiments show that the proposed method exhibits improvement in detecting blurry corner points. Moreover, it improves the performance of the algorithm and guarantees high processing speed at the same time.

  • 차량-인프라 간(V2I, Vehicle-to-Infrastructure) 통신 환경에서 도로 상의 차량 및 사용자들에게 보다 양질의 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 차량이 기지국 간을 이동 시에도 데이터 흐름이 끊어지지 않도록 하는 핸드오버 기능의 제공이 필요하다. WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments) 표준은 차량 환경에서 장치 간에 보다 효과적인 통신을 하기 위한 여러 기능들을 정의하고 있지만, V2I 서비스의 품질을 향상시키기 위한 핸드오버 기능은 포함하고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 WAVE 통신 시스템에 기반을 둔 핸드오버 메커니즘을 소개하고, 실제 도로 상에서 해당 메커니즘이 구현된 기지국 및 단말기를 이용한 실험을 통해 도출된 성능 분석 결과를 보인다.

다목적 최적화 기법을 이용한 동력장치의 실차 내구시험모드 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Endurance Test Mode Generation of Powertrain System Using Multi-Objective Optimization)

  • Based on army operating road profile, the endurance test of military vehicle aims to reproduce the similar loading conditions with mixture of proving ground tracks. It is so called as endurance test mode and its optimal generation is important to meet high reliability of endurance test. In this paper, proving ground optimization is proposed to achieve a close match to the target profile. Several performance measures such as torque-revolution counts or transmission ratio for the powertrain system can be considered as one of the objective functions. However, the one-side optimal endurance test mode may give the poor solution in the whole system point of view. To incorporate several goals simultaneously, this paper employs multi-objective optimization technique to generate endurance test mode. One of the most widely used method, weighted-sum method is applied here and the case study is discussed.
