  • This paper introduces the experimental results of ride values assessed for a farm tractor. and the effect on the health of rider when working on the tractor is estimated. The dynamic characteristics of suspension seat in the farm tractor also described. To evaluate the ride values the accelerations in the 12-axis of human are measured. The experiment was conducted in three different driving conditions for 4 persons. as a results we can see that the ride quality is very poor and the working in a tractor can causes health problems in a few hours. and the suspension seat does not take a good performance.

  • As assessment of quantitative energy expenditure for effective exercise is becoming more important, many researches about the monitoring system for exercise status or result have been actively carried out. In this case, however, bicycle riders feel restrained and uncomfortable because the riders should wear a belt-type electrocardiograph or a watch-type accelerometer or GPS system during the assessment of bicycle exercise. In this study, therefore, an electrocardiograph based on textile electrode was developed for measuring ECG and calculating heart rate from the bicycle rider without feeling restraint, and smartphone application was also developed for monitoring the heart rate.

  • An important purpose of DSM(Demand Side Management) program screening is to determine which program or technologies seem to be most worthy of future development, given the characteristics of the particular utility system. complication found in screening DSM technologies is the consideration of cost and benefit from several perspectives : the utility, society, participants, free rider and non participant. we also consideration of spillover participant, non participant. Cost-effectiveness on these factors can be respectively specified based on net benefit analysis, and it can provide a precise description on the customer effects.

Mapping of the Universe of Knowledge in Different Classification Schemes

  • Given the variety of approaches to mapping the universe of knowledge that have been presented and discussed in the literature, the purpose of this paper is to systematize their main principles and their applications in the major general modern library classification schemes. We conducted an analysis of the literature on classification and the main classification systems, namely Dewey/Universal Decimal Classification, Cutter's Expansive Classification, Subject Classification of J.D. Brown, Colon Classification, Library of Congress Classification, Bibliographic Classification, Rider's International Classification, Bibliothecal Bibliographic Klassification (BBK), and Broad System of Ordering (BSO). We conclude that the arrangement of the main classes can be done following four principles that are not mutually exclusive: ideological principle, social purpose principle, scientific order, and division by discipline. The paper provides examples and analysis of each system. We also conclude that as knowledge is ever-changing, classifications also change and present a different structure of knowledge depending upon the society and time of their design.

Short Range Rear Obstacle Detector for Automobile Using 24GHz AM Radar Sensor

  • FMCW Radar sensor is commonly used for an automobile collision avoidance system for rider's safe. Systems using FMCW radar, however, would be one of expensive solutions for just simple rear obstacle detection purpose due to its high cost. In this letter, a short range rear obstacle detector using novel 24GHz AM radar sensor is presented. It can be implemented at significantly lower cost than FMCW radar for practical commercialization. The proposed AM radar sensor module is fabricated in a single aluminum housing to reduce the overall size while using single power supply voltage of 12V with 1200mA current for automotive applications. The measured detection range is up to 210cm with 10cm of distance resolution, which is suitable for a parking assistance system for automobiles.

  • This paper presents the development process for airbag safety devices fitted in motorcyclists' garments. Motorcycle riders often sustain multiple injuries in crashes since rider post-impact kinematics depend on several variables. This study proposes a newly inflatable safety system connected to the motorcycle by a cable. An airbag device with a mechanical triggering system is deployed when the cable detaches from its mounting clip. Airbag filling tests are performed to determine the mixing ratio of compressed gases with the severance of temperature. To estimate the airbag effectiveness to reduce riders' injuries, numerical analysis is performed using the finite element method. A comparative analysis (i.e., with and without the chosen device) was conducted to evaluate its protective efficacy. Prototype garments based on the proposed design have been created and have undergone sled tests. The proposed safety device could also be beneficial in accidents during other sports activities.

  • The aspect of consciousness of drifting people expressed in Wang Shizhen's works accurately reflects the trajectory of his life. Living in the environment of the people, he had to play a dual role in caring for and managing the people's society while serving as a manager of Qing dynasty in the home of the people during his youth. In the middle age, when Qing Dynasty was already stabilizing, the consciousness of drifting people gradually disappeared as the wounds and pains of the past were gradually diluted, showing a tendency to take care of life and return to their hometowns.

  • Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network has great potential on utilizing the network while reducing the server loads. Video on Demand (VoD) has become widely used since we can watch contents we like without having to download the overall file first. The mobile users may not need high quality of video; they only need good enough quality that can be played in the limited resource of physical device and network. So does with the devices with very limited network bandwidth. These issues emerge an idea of allowing Free-Rider in the P2P VoD system, where those low performance devices will only optimize the network utilization, affecting none to the performance of main system.

  • 쇼핑카트 부착 모듈형 로봇 'Cart-Rider'는 어드미턴스 제어를 통한 사용자의 힘 보조 기능, 딥러닝을 활용한 네비게이션 기능, GPS 를 활용한 도난 방지 기능을 제공하는 로봇으로 대형 마트에서 발생하는 안전사고 및 쇼핑카트 도난을 예방하는 동시에 사용자에게 편의성을 제공하는 로봇이다. 또한 여러 대를 겹쳐서 보관하는 기존의 카트 시스템을 유지하고 탈부착이 용이하도록 하드웨어를 제작하여 환경에 영향을 주지 않고 유지 및 보수가 용이하도록 제작했다.

  • 본 연구는 이륜차를 운전함에 있어 기존의 스마트 AR 헬멧과 달리 비대면 음식 배달 서비스 사업에 보다 특화되고 안전에 중점을 둔 스마트 헬멧을 개발하는 방안을 제시하고 있다. 스마트 헬멧, 그리고 본 헬멧과 연동되는 어플리케이션의 개발을 진행하며 웹 대시보드를 통해 라이더의 실시간 위치를 확인하는 기능을 지원한다.
