취업자의 사회 연결망 활용에 대한 영향 요인 연구 (A Study on Factors Affecting Job Seekers' Utilization of Social Networks)

  • 이 연구는 1996년 "아시아 사람들의 직장 생활에 관한 조사" 자료를 이용하여 한국의 취업시장에서 사회 연결망 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 취업자를 하위 범주로 나누지 않고 보았을 때는, 사회 연결망이 공식 경로와 직접 접촉보다 더 중요한 취업방법임을 알 수 있다. 다항 로짓 분석 결과는 대체로 취업시장에서 유리한 위치에 있는 취업자 범주가 사회 연결망을 덜 활용한다는 점을 보여준다. 이것은 한국의 취업시장이 여러 가지 기준에 따라 뚜렷하게 나뉘어 있으며, 더 나은 사회 경제적 보상을 가져다 주는 취업시장에서는 공식 경로를 통한 경쟁이 주된 취업방법이라는 한국의 취업시장의 특징을 보여준다.

초등학교 보건교사의 직업 정체성과 직무 스트레스 (Job Identity and Job Stress on Elementary School Health Teachers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute to enhancing elementary school health teachers professional job performance by analyzing their job identity and job stress. Methods: The participants were 138 elementary school health teachers registered at the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, and the survey was conducted from the 22nd to 23rd of July, 2010. The collected data were analyzed by percentile, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 17.0 program. Results: The average percentiles of job identity and job stress were 70.6 and 64.0 respectively. Among the sub-factors of job identity, autonomy was highest as 73.5, and among the sub-factors of job stress, job demand was highest as 73.9. There were significant differences in the degree of job identity and job stress according to education status, the number of classes, job satisfaction, enthusiasm for work, and the image of nursing teachers expressed in a word. The regression model explained 21.2% of the variance of job identity. job stress explained 32.0% of the variance. Conclusion: It is important to develop various comprehensive programs for improving job identity and managing job stress. In addition, it is necessary to provide support systems including persons, promotion and rewards to school health teachers.

운동에 영향을 끼치는 피트니스 앱 요인 연구 (What Makes People Walk Using a Fitness App?)

  • Purpose An increase in the number of fitness apps across the world is a testament to the growing interest in health. As focus on medical services shifted from treatment to prevention, this type of app plays an essential role in promoting one's health and exercise management. Yet little has been known about practical effects of fitness apps in existing literature thus this study searches for factors that affect daily use of fitness apps and examine the relationship between app usage and exercise patterns. Design/methodology/approach This study surveyed people who used Cashwalk, the pedometer app for a minimum of a week to analyze reasons why they used the app. Particpants' exercise patterns were also recorded. By examining survey results of fitness app users and developing a research model based on the Customer Value Theory, this study provides real-life factors to the fitness and smart health care industry that will adopt a proactive lifestyle pattern. Findings Empirical analysis proved properties such as the complexity of fitness apps, monetary rewards, exercise monitoring and the enjoyment of using fitness apps contribute to using fitness apps on a daily basis. Furthermore, more daily use of fitness apps was shown to have a greater impact on exercise. This study also confirmed that social comparison does not affect the daily use of fitness apps and the amount of exercise, and the habitual walking was proved to directly affect the amount of exercise.

보상과 간호 전문직 자부심이 신종감염병 환자 간호의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Reward and Nursing Professional Pride on Nursing Intention in Patient with Emerging Infectious Disease)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of nurses on the nursing intentions in patients with emerging infectious diseases. Methods: Data were collected from 201 nurses with over one year of clinical experience in a general hospital located in Seoul, South Korea. A structured self-report questionnaire was utilized to measure belief factors, core factors, rewards, and nursing professional pride, as well as nursing intentions in patients with emerging infectious diseases. Results: The results revealed that nurses' intentions to provide care for patients with emerging infectious diseases were significantly influenced by perceived behavioral control (β=.26, p<.001), clinical experience (β=-.14, p=.008), behavioral beliefs (β=.31, p=.010), feeling of vocation (β=.29, p=.012) and attitudes toward behaviors (β=.08, p=.034). Conclusion: Enhancing nurses' intentions to provide care for patients with emerging infectious diseases requires the implementation of systemic and educational strategies aimed at strengthening their confidence and beliefs.

게임업계 종사자의 조직몰입이 이직의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 직무만족 매개효과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Impact of Organizational Commitment on Turnover Intention of Gaming Industry Workers : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Job Satisfacti)

  • High turnover and short tenure in the gaming industry has been a problem since the 2000s. Although high turnover can increase the flexibility of working hours, it has a negative impact on labor stability, and the negative effects of turnover outweigh the positive effects for companies, so efforts are needed to reduce turnover intention, an antecedent of turnover. Therefore, this study investigated the factors affecting turnover intention of employees in the game industry, focusing on organizational commitment and job satisfaction, which are factors that affect turnover intention through previous studies. The results of the regression analysis and mediation effect verification by conducting a questionnaire survey on 221 employees in the game industry showed that emotional engagement among the components of organizational commitment influences turnover intention through job satisfaction. Therefore, it is important to provide goals such as game release and rewards to keep employees emotionally engaged in order to reduce turnover intention.

서두름 행동과 A형 행동의 관계 (The Relationship between Hasteful Behavior and Type A Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 서두름 행동의 5요인의 특성에 초점을 맞추어, 서두름 행동과 A형 행동의 관계를 바탕으로 서두름 행동의 5요인의 특성을 밝히고자 진행되었다. 이를 위해, 만 18세 이상 59세 이하 성인 207명이 서두름 행동 질문지와 A형 행동 질문지에 응답하였다. A형 행동 질문지는 A형 행동 및 성격을 측정하는 기존 문항을 바탕으로 총 136개 문항을 수집하였다. 그리고 요인분석을 통해 6개 요인으로 이루어진 29개 문항으로 축소되었다. A형 행동의 구성요인으로 성공추구, 인내부족, 실패불안, 과제몰입, 활동성, 민첩성이 나타났다. 서두름 행동요인분석 결과, 서두름 행동은 기존 연구와 동일한 5가지 요인으로 이루어져 있었다. 서두름 행동과 A형 행동의 상관분석 결과, 시간압력에서 나타나는 서두름 행동은 성공추구, 실패불안, 과제몰입, 민첩성과 정적상관을 보였다. 불편함에서 나타나는 서두름 행동과 고립에서 나타나는 서두름 행동은 인내심부족과 정적상관을 보였다. 지루함에서 나타나는 서두름 행동은 성공추구와 활동성 및 민첩성과 정적 상관이 있었다. 보상기대에서 나타나는 서두름 행동은 성공추구, 인내부족, 실패불안, 민첩성과 정적상관을 가지는 것으로 나타났다.

중국기업의 사내벤처 운영과정과 성공요인: 하이얼(Haier) 중심으로 (Operational Process and Success Factors of Corporate Venture in a Chinese Company: A Case Study of Haier)

  • Purpose - Focusing on Haier, a successful corporate venture in China, we analyse the operating mechanism and success factors of corporate venture, and reveal the necessary factors for the successful implementation of corporate venture. Design/methodology/approach - This study is a single case study centred on Haier, a successful corporate venture in China. Findings - The operational process of Haier's corporate venture includes six key aspects: project selection, team building, resource allocation and support, project implementation, risk control measures, performance evaluation and rewards. In terms of success factors, the support of top management with leadership capability of value creation and sharing is very important for the success of corporate venture. Secondly, a multi reward mechanism can be introduced to motivate employees and improve performance. Thirdly, it is important to integrate corporate culture into the operating mechanism of an corporate venture. Fourthly, flexible operations that break down rigid organisational boundaries and transform the organisation into a more open platform for entrepreneurship can increase the likelihood of success. Finally, empowering employees with operational discretion can also have a positive impact on the success of an Corporate Venture. Research implications or Originality - This study contributes to theory and practice by analysing the success conditions of corporate venture, providing new understanding and drawing new perspectives, especially from the experience of Haier. The results suggest strategies and flexibility for successfully pursuing corporate venture, and provide important experience for international companies to help them gain competitive advantage in global competition. It also helps corporate leaders to promote new directions and innovations and improve their strategies to respond to dynamic environments.

초ㆍ중학생의 과학선호도 실태 비교 분석 (A Comparative Status Analysis of Elementary and Middle School Students Preference for Science)

  • The purpose of this research was to survey and compare the status of science preference of elementary school students with that of middle school students. Preference for science was defined theoretically. According to theoretical model, a questionnaire was developed with piloting and consisted of three parts. First part was for background information, second part, for measurement of science preference and third for measurement of the relevant factors of science preference. The questionnaire was modified for primary school students. In July 2002, the questionnaire was administered to one class per grade of randomly selected 8 elementary and 8 middle schools all over the country and analyzed result of collected 696 elementary school students and 819 middle school students. Middle school students' science preference was low compared with elementary school students, especially in 'emotional response and 'valuational comprehension'. The preference for science became lower especially from 4th to 5th grade and from 8th to 9th grade. The differences of mean science preference were significant by gender. perception of science achievement. and future career choice. The average of science preference relevant factors of middle school students also became lower than elementary students, especially in 'educational factor'. Multiple regression analysis on the science preference showed that important factors were personal ability, the personal traits, rewards in school science and contents of school science, slightly different in elementary and secondary school. The way to promote students' preference for science was suggested on the analysis result.

소방공무원과 외상 후 스트레스 장애 (Firefighters and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder)

  • Occupational hazards of firefighting and rescue works include frequent exposure to emergencies and life-threatening situations. These stressful work conditions of being constantly under pressure and exposed to potentially traumatic events put them at higher risk of developing posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), compared to the general population. PTSD is a potentially debilitating mental disorder, due to persistent intrusive thoughts, negative alterations of mood and cognition, hypervigilance, avoidance of similar situations and reminders, and re-experiences of the traumatic event. Previous studies have shown a relatively high prevalence of PTSD among firefighters, indicating the need for a systematic approach of early detection and prevention. Therefore, a critical review of the current literature on PTSD in firefighters would provide valuable insights into developing effective prevention and intervention programs. Literature indicated that there are risk factors of PTSD in firefighters, such as pre-existing depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, occupational stress, physical symptoms, and binge drinking, whereas social support and adequate rewards are protective factors. Although there are differences in the prevalence of PTSD across studies, partly due to various assessment tools utilized, different sample sizes, and sample characteristics, over one tenth of the firefighters were estimated to have PTSD. The current review warrants further investigations to precisely assess PTSD and co-morbid mental disorders, functional outcomes, and associated factors, and to develop evidence-based preventive and interventional programs to help firefighters with PTSD.

온라인게임 플레이 의도의 영향요인 연구 (A Study on Factors Influencing the Intention of Playing On-line Games)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 게임의 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 선행요인들을 살펴보았다. 온라인 설문조사를 통하여 가설을 검증한 결과, 캐릭터와의 일체감을 나타내는 원격현존감과 몰입이 게임의 가치에 영향을 미치며, 이 가치는 다시 게임의 지속적 이용의도와 게이머들간 정보공유에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가치의 선행요인인 몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 게임 플레이 방식, 도전감이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 예상과는 달리 보상은 몰입에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 가치의 다른 선행요인으로서 원격현존감은 게임 상에서의 정치시스템과 스토리텔링에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.
