Since robotic assembly in an unstructured environment is very difficult with existing control methods, studies using artificial intelligence such as reinforcement learning have been conducted. However, since long-time operation of a robot for learning in the real environment adversely affects the robot, so a method to shorten the learning time is needed. To this end, a method based on a pre-trained neural network was proposed in this study. This method showed a learning speed about 3 times than the existing methods, and the stability of reward during learning was also increased. Furthermore, it can generate a more optimal policy than not using a pre-trained neural network. Using the proposed reinforcement learning-based assembly trajectory generator, 100 attempts were made to assemble the power connector within a random error of 4.53 mm in width and 3.13 mm in length, resulting in 100 successes.

Methamphetamine, a commonly used addictive drug, is a powerful addictive stimulant that dramatically affects the CNS. Repeated METH administration leads to a rewarding effect in a state of addiction that includes sensitization, dependence, and other phenomena. It is well known that susceptibility to the development of addiction is influenced by sources of reinforcement, variable neuroadaptive mechanisms, and neurochemical changes that together lead to altered homeostasis of the brain reward system. These behavioral abnormalities reflect neuroadaptive changes in signal transduction function and cellular gene expression produced by repeated drug exposure. To provide a better understanding of addiction and the mechanism of the rewarding effect, it is important to identify related genes. In the present study, we performed gene expression profiling using microarray analysis in a reward effect animal model. We also investigated gene expression in four important regions of the brain, the nucleus accumbens, striatum, hippocampus, and cingulated cortex, and analyzed the data by two clustering methods. Genes related to signaling pathways including G-protein-coupled receptor-related pathways predominated among the identified genes. The genes identified in our study may contribute to the development of a gene modeling network for methamphetamine addiction.

Conventional method to reduce the handoff call blocking probability(PBH) in mobile communication system is to reserve a predetermined number of channels only for handoff calls. To determine the number of reserved channels, an optimization problem, which is generally computationally heavily involved, must be solved. In this Paper, we propose a call admission control (CAC) scheme that can be used to reduce the PBH without reserving channels in advance. For this, we define a new measure, gain, which depends on the state of the system upon the arrival of a new call. The proposed CAC decision rule relies on the gain computed when a new call arrives. SRN, an extended stochastic Petri nets, provides compact modeling facilities for system analysis can be calculated performance index by appropriate reward to the model. In this Paper, we develop SRN models which can perform the CAC with gain. The SRN models are 2 level hierarchical models. The upper layer models are the structure state model representing the CAC and channel allocation methods considering QoS with multimedia traffic The lower layer model Is to compute the gain under the state of the upper layer models.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the association between job stress and metabolic syndrome among male workers. Methods: A total of 396 male workers employed in an electronic company, located in 'P' city, Gyeonggi Province, who had taken medical examination at the 'D' hospital, volunteered in this study. All the data used in this study were obtained from 'D' hospital after getting consent and permission from the workers. General and occupational characteristics, medical history, and health-related behaviors of the subjects were obtained by self-administered questionnaire. Results: The highest occupational stress by sub-sector was reported in the order of insufficient job control, organizational system, lack of reward, job demand, job insecurity, physical environment, job culture, and relationship conflict. The prevalence rate of metabolic syndrome of the participants was 19.9%. The results of the multiple logistic regression analysis on metabolic syndrome of the subjects indicated that the syndrome was significantly higher among those with family history, smoking habit and ex-smoking, working duration of 3 years and over, and with higher total score of occupational stress. It was significantly more prevalent, when the degree of stress was high in the sub-sectors of occupational stress; job autonomy, job insecurity, lack of reward, and job culture. Conclusion: In conclusion, it is necessary to implement a plan to efficiently manage the job stress of these male workers, as the probability of metabolic syndrome increased with the increase of occupational stress. Furthermore, considering the highest occupational stress was found to be job autonomy among its sub-sectors, it is necessary to prepare various measures to enhance the autonomy of such employees.
Purpose: This study aimed at exploring relationships among Internet addiction, smoking, and drinking and examining the effect factors on Internet addiction, smoking and drinking. Methods: By using stratified sampling, 1,529 participants representing high school students in the Kangwon province were selected. Data was analyzed by SPSS 12.0. using ${\chi}^2$, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: One-fifth of the total participants were at the mild or moderate stage of Internet addiction. Regarding smoking, 22.7% of male subjects and 4.5% of female subjects were current smokers. Regarding drinking, the percentages of subjects who drank alcohol once or twice per month were 53.5% of male students and 40.7% of female students. Internet addiction positively correlated with depression, novelty seeking, harm avoidance and reward dependence, Internet addiction negatively correlated with persistence, self-directness, cooperativeness, and self-transcendence. Significant factors affecting Internet addiction were depression, gender, novelty seeking, and self-transcendence. Important factors influencing smoking were drinking, gender, school type, satisfaction with school, novelty seeking, and reward dependence. Significant factors affecting drinking were smoking, novelty seeking, school type and ages. Conclusion: This study shows the necessity of developing and implementing effective intervention programs in order to prevent adolescents from experiencing Internet addiction and health risk behaviors.
Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of self-leadership on organizational effectiveness and job performance in the dental hygienist. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 281 dental hygienists in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggido from March 1 to 31, 2016. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, self-leadership, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, job performance. Data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 18.0 program. Results: The average of self-leadership was 3.62, self-reward had highest score of 3.84, followed by rehearsal 3.73, self-expectation 3.72, self-goal setting 3.51, constructive thinking 3.48, and self-criticism 3.45. The average of organizational commitment was 3.11, and that of job satisfaction was 3.11 and the average of job performance was 3.70. Among the sub-factors of self-leadership, self-expectation, self-goal setting, constructive thinking showed a positive correlation with organizational commitment and job satisfaction. All sub-factors except for self-criticism showed a positive correlation with job performance. Among the sub-factors of self-leadership, self-expectation (${\beta}=0.350$), constructive thinking (${\beta}=0.124$), self-reward (${\beta}=0.106$), rehearsal (${\beta}=0.102$) showed a significant effect together with job satisfaction (${\beta}=0.187$) on job performance. Also, age, education level, clinical career, the average monthly salary showed a significant effect on job performance. Conclusions: The self-leadership and job satisfaction of in the dental hygienist had influence on job performance. To improve the job performance of dental hygienists, it is necessary to apply self-leadership development program focusing on the strengthening of self-expectation and constructive thinking.
Objectives : This study was to investigate the level of organizational culture and self-leadership on organizational effectiveness and the significant factors influencing organizational effectiveness in oral health professional. Methods : Data were obtained from a cross-sectional survey of 297 oral health professional(mean age=$29.95{\pm}8.10$). Participants in the study were recruited when they attended the dental health form in Gwangju. Organizational culture was classified into four factors: relation-oriented, innovation-oriented, hierarchy-oriented, task-oriented culture. Self-readership consisted of five factors: rehearsal/self-observation, self-goal establishment, self-esteem, self-criticism, self-reward. Organizational effectiveness included organizational commitment and job satisfaction. The data was analysed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation and multiple regression. Results : The dominant organizational culture was rank-oriented culture. The mean score of self-readership score was 3.51 out of a maximum 5 points. Organizational commitment was positively correlated with age, relation-oriented culture, self-goal establishment, self-reward explained 41.9% and job satisfaction was positively correlated with relation-oriented culture and self-esteem explained 48.6%. Conclusions : Based on the findings, the organizational culture and self-readership was correlated with organizational effectiveness. These results suggest that further development should be continued to develop the effective self-readership and organizational culture to improve the organizational effectiveness of oral healthcare professional.
Objectives: A systematic review and a meta-analysis were performed investigate the factors related to turnover intention of dental hygienists in Korea. Methods: Literature between 2000 and January 2021 were used to support the meta-analysis, which focused on 21 factors extracted from 50 articles using a random effects model. The correlation coefficient, r, in the effect size was calculated. Results: Substantial literature was published after 2011 (76%); in academic journals (74%); and targeted nonmetropolitan areas (40%). Lawler's turnover intention tool was used in several studies. The effect size for each ecosystem was in the order of microsystem (r=0.325), mesosystem (r=0.307), macrosystem (r=0.259), exosystem (r=0.176), and individuals (r=0.171). The random-effects model indicated an overall average of r=0.311. The factor that showed a large effect size in relation to turnover intention was organizational commitment of the microsystem (r=-0.594). Furthermore, mesosystem reward (r=- 0.416), microsystem burnout (r=0.464), job stress (r=0.408), and job satisfaction (r=-0.405) were identified as other major factors. Conclusions: To lower the turnover rate of dental hygienists, it is important to focus on factors belonging to the microsystem, and mesosystem reward.
BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Excessive sugar intake is one of the causes associated with obesity and several chronic diseases prevalent in the modern society. This study was undertaken to investigate the effect of parenting variables based on the theory of planned behavior, on the sweetness preferences and sweets intake of children. SUBJECTS/METHODS: Parents and their children (n = 103, aged 5-7 years) were enrolled to participate in a survey for this study, after providing the required informed consent. Parents were asked to fill out a self-administered questionnaire at their residence. The sweetness preference test for children was conducted at a kindergarten (or daycare center) by applying the one-on-one interview method. RESULTS: The children were divided into two clusters categorized by the K-mean cluster analysis: Cluster 1 had higher sweetness preference (0.42 M sugar, 35%; 0.61 M sugar, 65%); Cluster 2 exhibited lower sweetness preference (0.14 M sugar, 9.5%; 0.20 M sugar, 9.5%; 0.29 M sugar, 81%). Cluster 1 had a higher frequency of sweets intake (P < 0.01), and lower sweets restriction (P < 0.05) and nutrition quotient score (P < 0.05). Sweets intake was negatively correlated with the nutritional quotient (r = -0.204, P < 0.05). The behavioral intention of parents was higher in cluster 2 (P < 0.05), while affective attitude, feeding practice, and reward were higher in cluster 1 (P < 0.001, P < 0.05, and P < 0.01, respectively). Furthermore, behavioral intention of parents showed a negative correlation with affective attitude (r = -0.282, P < 0.01) and feeding practice (r = -0.380, P < 0.01), and a positive correlation with subjective norm (r = 0.203, P < 0.05) and parenting attitude (r = 0.433, P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: This study indicates that the sweetness preferences and sweets intake of children is related to the parent's affective attitude, feeding practice and reward. We suggest that to reduce the sugar consumption of children, guidelines for access to sweets and pertinent parenting practices are required.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influencing effects of job stress, professional autonomy, and reciprocity on the job embeddedness among comprehensive nursing care unit nurses. Methods: The participants in this study were 147 nurses who have worked for over 6 months in Comprehensive Nursing Care Unit. Data were collected from January 3 to January 31, 2022 from six general hospitals with more than 300 beds in three cities in G, G and P. Results: As the results of hierarchical regression analysis, job embeddedness was lower when nurses had clinical experiences for 1 to under 5 years (β=-.49, p<.001), 5 to under 10 years (β=-.27, p=.035), 10 to under 20 years (β=-.54, p<.001) compared to those who had clinical experiences for more than 20 years. Also, job embeddedness was higher when there was greater balance within team caregiving of reciprocality (β=.27, p<.001) and intrinsic reward (β=.22, p=.003), and lower role conflict (β =-.27, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of the study showed that job embededness would increase if the role conflict of comprehensive nursing care unit nurses reduces, if there was a culture that the members can make cooperative relationship with other health care professionals and, if there was an appropriate intrinsic reward depending on their work experience.
