개별기업의 환노출과 결정요인에 관한 연구 (An Analysis of he Foreign Exchange Exposure and Determinants)

  • 본 연구는 다양한 수익률 기간에서 미국 달러와 일본 엔화에 대한 우리나라 기업의 환노출과 비대칭성을 분석하고, 환노출이 어떠한 변수에 의해 영향을 받는지를 검토하는데 목적이 있다. 달러와 엔에 대한 외환위기 이후의 환노출을 분석한 결과, 장기수익률과 환노출 사이에 단조 증가하는 형태가 아니라 2개월이나 3개월 수익률에서 높은 환노출을 보이다가 감소한 후 다시 증가하는 모습을 보이고 있다. 또한 환노출의 결정요인 가운데는 성장기회가 두 통화 모두 대부분의 분석기간과 수익률에서 유의한 관계를 보이고 있다. 기업규모는 환노출과 음의 관계를 갖고 있으며, 외환위기 이후 단기 환노출에서만 발생하고 있다. 수출비중과 레버리지는 분석기간과 수익률에 따라 다양한 결과를 보이며, 유동성 변수는 미미한 영향을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 비대칭성에 대한 분석 결과, 우리나라 기업의 환노출은 비대칭성을 갖고 있으며, 이는 시장점유율 이론으로 설명할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 비대칭을 설명하는 요인 가운데는 수출비중이 공통적으로 나타나고 있어, 수출비중이 환노출의 비대칭성을 발생시키는 주요 원인인 것으로 분석되었다.

태양열 온수시스템 배관 최적설계 (Optimized Design of Piping Array in Solar Hot Water System)

  • A simple method for balancing flow rates in arrays of parallel connected flat plate solar collectors has been developed. The method is based on a computer program which solves for the flow rate through each of the collectors in a reverse return plumbed array. The analysis uses conventional "K-value" techniques and assumes the effects of density variations within the system to to be negligible. It has been found that by appropriately sizing the inlet and outlet manifolds, flow maldistribution can be nearly eliminated without resorting to expensive or complicated balancing techniques.

성층 축열 시스템에서의 열 저장 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on thermal storage characteristics in the thermally stratified water storage system)

  • This study describes the experimental study that focuses on the effects that distributor shapes and flow rate variations have an influence on the stratification in a rectangular thermal storage tank. Experiments were carried out under the conditions that the flow rates of working fluid are 20, 10 and $5\ell$/min. The storage tank is initially filled with chilled water of $1^{\circ}C$, and is extracted through the bottom at the same rate as the return warm water from load is entered through the distributor at the top of the tank. The thermo-cline forms at the top of the storage tank as the warm water enters the tank from the load through the distributor and the thermo-cline thickness increases with time. Emphasis is given to the effects of mixing at the inlet that increases the thermo-cline decay Flow rate variation and inlet distributor shapes are the important parameters in deciding the performance of a storage system. Stratification degree increases with decreasing in inlet flow rate under $10\ell$/min. Experiments shows that better thermal stratification can be obtain using the distributor to limit momentum mixing at the inlets and outlets. Also, 12% of improvement in the thermal energy usage has been achieved using the modified distributor discharging same flow rate in each lateral ports.

  • Impedance calculations of electric railway traction systems is essential to define characteristics and to design it. The self impedance is defined voltage drop rate per unit length, the mutual impedance is represented as a voltage induced to transmission line from transmission line. The self and the mutual impedance are influenced by ground return currents. The earth is considered as a semi-infinitely extended non-ideal conductor. The current of transmission line produces earth current induced magnetically and it flow through a path having minimum impedance. Carson proposed the impedance calculation formula using wave equations and magnetic field equations. Though the formula have an improper equation, that is still used as a standard impedance calculation method. This paper introduced an impedance calculation method that the complex depth of earth return method assumes that the current in conductor returns through an imagined earth depth path located directly under original conductor at a depth of. In this paper, we showed that this proposed method has a closed form and is easier than Carson's.

바이패스용 3-Way 밸브를 장착한 온수 난방시스템의 압력 및 유량 특성 평가 (Performance Test of Pressure and Flow Rate in a Hot-Water Heating System with 3-Way Valves for Flow Bypass)

  • A 3-way valve has been applied to a distributor in a hot-water heating system and the performance of the system was evaluated in view of the variations of pressure drop and flow rate. The 3-way valve has been designed to bypass overplus hot-water when a control valve is closed. Note that the flow goes through heating pipeline in normal operation. In the present study, the measured pressure drops in each part of the flow paths show that the contribution to the total pressure drop is in the order of the supply header with control valves, piping system of each room and return header of the distributor, even though the amount of it is different according to the flow paths. As a result of performance test by sequential closing of the control valves, the variations of pressure drop and flow rate in the distributor with 3-way valves is much lower than those with previous 2-way valves, which prevent noises induced by pressure fluctuations.

  • This study is carried out in order to evaluate the performances of the Reynolds stress turbulence models such as SSG and GL models in the calculation of separated flow over backward-facing stepp.In addition, two slow return-to-isotropy models, YA and Rotta models combined with rapid part of SSG model are also tested. The finite volume method is used to discretize the governing differential equations, and the power-law scheme is used to approximate the convection terms. The SIMPLE algorithm is used for pressure correction in the governing equations. The results show that SSG model gives the better prediction near the reattachment point than GL model. In cases that the rapid term of SSG model is combined with Rotta and YA slow models, the results show the better predictions of stress components in recirculation zone, but indicate inaccuracy in the predictions of mean velocity.

농작업 대행사업 경제성 분석 - 나주시 봉황면 사례를 중심으로 - (An Economic Feasibility Analysis of Custom Work Service - Case of Bonghwang-myeon, Naju City -)

  • This study analyzed the feasibility of custom work service to deal with the imbalance of farm labor supply due to population aging. The economic feasibility analysis is based on the case of Bonghwang-myeon in Naju-si, where the majority of farm work is entrusted to local agricultural cooperative. To assess the project profitability and economic feasibility based on the projected cash flow for the next ten years, Return On Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of the projects were calculated. The results showed that ROI is estimated at 13.7%, and NPV and IRR are KRW 1,504,932,000 and 15.6%, respectively, with a discount rate of 4.5%, indicating a good enough profitability. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis with government support as part of an assumption showed that without the support, NPV turns negative, implying that the project is not profitable, and that government support for at least 30% of the cost is needed to secure the economic feasibility of a project. Hence, to promote agricultural work entrustment, it is necessary for the government to partly support the agricultural machinery and facility costs, which require a considerable amount of initial investment.

  • Recent collapse of shipping market right after unprecedent surge clearly demonstrates that shipping industry is extremely risky. Due to the volatile movements of the freight rates, investors tend to ask higher rate of return; higher required return reduces the total net present value of the investment project. For several decades, the Discounted Cash Flow(DCF hereafter) analysis has been the most frequently used valuation technique. However, the main problem of the DCF analysis is its assumption that the discount rate would stay the same during the project life. In other words, it usually does not address the decisions that managers have after a project has been accepted. The purpose of this study is investigate a new valuation method of investment: the Real Option Analysis(ROA hereafter) on ship investment. By replacing the existing valuation methods with the new one, the research will present a new perspective on investment with uncertainty. While uncertainty increases risk of investment and consequently discounts the value of it in the traditional feasibility analysis, in the ROA, a new valuation method which will be addressed in the research, uncertainty means some additional value of flexibility so that the tool can help investors produce more accurate decisions. Contrary to the DCF analysis, the ROA takes managerial flexibilities into account. In reality, capital budgeting and project management is typically dynamic, rather than static in nature. The ROA finds and assesses the values of managerial flexibilities or real options in the investments. The main structures of the research will be as follows: (1) overview of the ship investment project, (2) evaluation of the project by the Net Present Value analysis, (3) evaluation of the same project by the Real Option Analysis, (4) comparision of the two techniques.

커먼레일 디젤엔진의 인젝터 클리닝이 배기가스에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study of the effects of injector cleaning on the exhaust gases in a common rail diesel engine)

  • 디젤엔진의 사용은 루돌프 디젤에 의하여 발명된 이후 산업의 발달을 이끌어가는 중추적인 역할을 하고 있다. 2013년 기준으로 국내의 디젤엔진의 차량은 7,395,739대이다. 디젤엔진에서의 인젝터는 엔진의 구동에 직접적인 역활을 수행하기 때문에 성능향상에 대한 연구는 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 운행 중인 디젤차량의 매연의 농도와 인젝터 클리닝 전 후의 관계를 비교분석하기 위하여 인젝터 클리닝 전 후의 매연의 농도를 KD147 모드("운행차 수시점검 및 정기검사의 배출허용기준")로 측정하여 인젝터 클리닝이 매연 저감에 미치는 영향에 대하여 실험적으로 고찰하였다. 실험결과 인젝터 클리닝 후의 매연의 농도가 20% 이상 감소하는 것을 확인하였으며 매연의 농도의 감소율은 매연의 발생량이 클수록 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

심마비용액의 삼투압을 유지하기위한 첨가 물질들의 차이가 심근보호에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Additives in the Cardioplegic Solution on the Recovery of Myocardium, Compariosn Among Albumin, Mannitol, and Glucose)

  • High potassium cardioplegia is a widely accepted procedure to enhance myocardial protection from ischemic injuries associated with open heart surgery. Maintaining optimum osmolarity of the cardioplegic solution is one of the required conditions for an ideal cardioplegic solution Albumin is an frequently added component for maintaining optimum osmolarity of clinically used cardioplegic solutions. But the source of albumin is human blood so that the supply is limited and the cost of manufacturing is relatively high. Recently there are moves to minimized the use of blood product for fear of blood-associated infections or immunological disorders. In this experiment, we substituted mannitol or glucose for albumin added to the cardioplegic solution which has been used at the Wonju Medical College, To determine whether addition of mannitol or glucose instead of albumin in the cardioplegic solution can produce satisfactory myocardial protection during ischemia, three different groups of isolated rat heart perfused by modified Langendorff technique were studied. Wonju Cardioplegic Solution was selected as a standard high potassium[18mEq/L of K+] cardioplegic solution. Three kinds of cardioplegic solution were made by modifying the composition maintaining the same osmolarity[339$\pm$1mOsm/Kg] Isolated rat heart were perfused initially with retrograde nonworking mode and then changed to working mode. After measuring the heart rate, systolic aortic pressure, aortic flow, coronary flow, ischemic arrest by aorta cross clamp and cardioplegia was made maintaining the temperature of water jacket at 10oC. The heart was rewarmed and reperfused after 60min of ischemic arrest with intermittent cardioplegia at the 30min interval. The time to return of heart beat and the time required to get. Regular heart beat were observed after reperfusion. The recovery rate of the functional variables-heart rate, systolic aortic pressure, aortic flow, coronary flow and cardiac output were calculated and compared among the three groups of different cardioplegia-albumin, mannitol, and glucose. The wet weight and dry weight was measured and the water content of the heart as figured out for comparison. The time to return of heart beat was fastest in the albumin group, The functional recovery rates were best in the albumin group also. In the above conditions, albumin was the best additive to the cardioplegic solution compared to the mannitol or glucose.
