Software acquisition involves purchase of new technology as well as the product itself. Consequently, evaluation of candidate packages or development contractors requires formal models that can objectively compare the candidates' technological characteristics with respect to user requirements. This paper proposes three technological evaluation models for software acquisition : 1) a structural model dthat organizes the technological factors to be evaluated, 2) a scoring model that quantifies the candidates' technological values, and 3) an organization model that orgnizes and assigns responsibilities to technical evaluators. Three models, initially built on expert surveys and later refined through interviews with opinion leaders, are primarily intended for governmental use : the Korean government is expected to use these models as the software acquisition standards starting in 1994.

Licensing contracts between partners in International Joint Ventures(IJV) have not only aspects of relation contract, which is interdependent and long-term cooperative relationships in interpartner but also aspects of discrete contract which is exposed to opportunistic risk caused by IJV partners who maximize individual profit instead of joint payoff maximization. In this circumstance, appropriate compensation structures such as lump-sum and royalty can reduce conflicts and spur interpartner cooperation. In addition, compensation structures that stipulate each party's rights, duties, and responsibilities under various sets of environmental conditions have strong implications for transaction cost minimization and joint payoff maximization. On the other hands, compensation structures such as lump-sum and royalty in IJV licensing contract have benefits and costs depending on IJV partners uncertainty, partner dependency, and environment uncertainty. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to empirically show how partner uncertainty, partner dependence and environment uncertainty influence compensation structure chosen by licensor in IJV.

This study is approached the early intervention of children with disability in the aspect of family. The family of didabled children are identified as special individual with responsibilities and roles beyond those of other family. Physical Therapy need of the disabled child should be sought in the context of the family and socio-cultural environment. The process of early developmental facilitation is defined as a approach of the family. As family is the most influential factor in the child developmental facilitation, treatment and education. The family tend to seek complete information about disabilities, desire accurate, straight foreward about their child.

The Comprehensive quality assurance for radiation oncology provides an overall organizational structures, responsibilities, procedures, processes and resources for assuring the quality of patient management by radiation treatment. Superior performance of modern radiotherapy equipment will be essential part of quality assurance in radiation oncology, which high degree of accuracy and consistency should be maintained under the optimal quality assurance program. Besides quality control of all radiation equipment, this review also emphasizes quality assurance of clinical aspect such as adequacy of the medical decision-making which eventually leads to the treatment prescription, accuracy of treatment procedure from treatment preparation to radiation delivery, and the significance of assessment of treatment outcomes with structure and process.

A technique to allocate responsibilities among the interested parties in electric power system with harmonic voltage distortion at the point of common coupling (PCC) has been presented. The recursive least-squares technique has been used to estimate the parameters of the Thevenin equivalent load model. The validity of the technique has been verified using a simulation which considered the voltage waveform distortion at the PCC between the utility and two industrial consumers. With the estimated data from the measured voltage and current waveform at the PCC, the individual contributions to the distortion of voltage waveform at an interested harmonic frequency have been calculated and could provide a flexible solution to identify the source of harmonic pollution in distribution systems.

Beijing, as a cradle of modern industry and the third largest metropolitan area in China, faces more responsibilities to adjust industrial structure and mitigate carbon emissions. The purpose of this study is aimed at predicting and comparing industrial carbon emissions of Beijing in ten scenarios under different policy focus, and then providing emission-cutting recommendations. In views of various scenarios issues, system dynamics has been applied to predict and simulate. To begin with, the model has been established following the step of causal loop diagram and stock flow diagram. This paper decomposes scenarios factors into energy structure, high energy consumption enterprises and growth rate of industrial output. The prediction and scenario simulation results shows that energy structure, carbon intensity and heavy energy consumption enterprises are key factors, and multiple factors has more significant impact on industrial carbon emissions. Hence, some recommendations about low-carbon mode of Beijing industrial carbon emission have been proposed according to simulation results.

As the issuance of type certificate and production certificate for KC-100 Naraon, Korea is ranked as the State of Design and the State of Manufacture for civil aircraft specified in the Convention on International Civil Aviation. It means that another responsibilities are imposed and new frameworks are required for the airworthiness management including the continuing airworthiness. So far the minimum airworthiness management system was sufficient as the State of Registry for the aircraft operations and safety management. However, we need to establish and maintain the airworthiness management system for the effective certification and oversight of our air operators and approval holders. This paper introduces the new obligations under the Convention on International Civil Aviation, reviews the current aviation regulations and procedures and presents the strategy for the establishment of the regulatory system to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft.

Purpose - The study is primarily aimed at framing "Position Descriptions" for some key positions in the executive cadre of the testing department of CESC Limited. Research design, data, and methodology - The questionnaire, interview, and observation methods have been used for the purpose of data collection. The position descriptions are validated by superiors belonging to the respective departments. Results - It has been found that there is overlapping of job duties and job responsibilities in the department. This overlapping is quite alarming for the organization and may even become a hurdle in the path of its progress. It can be seen as a classic case of de-layering. Conclusions - The study concludes that good communication along with interpersonal and negotiation skills are absolutely essential to facilitate the performance of the day-to-day duties of a job, including handling the union, solving IR related issues, development of the subordinates, job setting, distribution and allocation, etc. Position descriptions will help in the alignment of the employee direction, and can be a useful tool to aid the communication between management and employees.

To cope with the rapid changes in the corporate environment, the creation of innovative output through various forms of collaboration have been discussed. For open collaborations, contributors who distribute to various countries and cultures are able to share knowledge via the internet without physical rewards or responsibilities. In this study, we focused on the open source software project, which is a representative open collaboration. We investigated the factors that affect the knowledge contribution of developers of various countries within the open collaboration platform. Specifically, we investigated the open collaborative nature of multi-culture developers by dividing cultures according to collectivism and individualism. We collected data on 26,604 developers using a python based web crawler for GitHub which is an open source software development platform, and conducted cross-cultural study. This paper contributes to the field of knowledge management by suggesting various impacts of antecedents such as hireability, and information exposure on knowledge sharing according to culture.

As we know, Incoterms are reflecting only the greatest common measure of practice in int'l trade. Therefore we can think them as the commercial practice most widely used in trade. They contain a number of detail under converse mirror image terms because they connect each other like a thread as to all oversea's commercial transactions between importing buyers and exporting sellers. Therefore they afford convenience to exporters and importers in the world because they tell the parties what to do as to transfer of risk and costs, responsibilities in connection with delivery of the goods. Nonetheless, since Incoterms 1936, they have been periodically revising in order to represent contemporary commercial practice. Therefore, according to change of Int'l trade environment, ICC plans to modify to the 2000 Incoterms. I hope to contribute to revising works by reference of above mentioned revision, that to say, aspects of provision, reflection of prevailing most commonly used, promotion of status as uniform rules, provision of convenience of int'l buyers and sellers. harmony with existing int'l instruments, presentation of criteria in variation of Incoterms.
