This paper presents frequency response compensation technique, and a self-oscillation circuit for capacitive microresonator with the compensation technique using programmable capacitor array, to compensate for the frequency response distorted by parasitic capacitances, and to obtain stable oscillation condition. The parasitic capacitances between the actuation input port and capacitive output port distort the frequency response of the microresonator. The distorted non-ideal frequency response can be compensated using two programmable capacitor arrays, which are connected between anti-phased actuation input port and capacitive output port. The simulation model includes the whole microresonator system, which consists of mechanical structure, transimpedance amplifier with automatic gain control, actuation driver and compensation circuit. The compensation operation and oscillation output of the system is verified with the simulation results.
In this paper, a simple structured feedback compensation scheme for a electro-hydraulic servo system to keep the response characteristics unchanged regardless of the load variation is proposed. In electro-hydraulic servo system, servovalve is most important control element. But the relation between input corrent and output flowrate of the servovalve has properties as follows; firstly, in spite of constant input current, output flowrate decreases as load pressure increases, secondly, according to frequency response of typical servovalve, the characteristics of gain and phase shift is something like 2'nd order system. Load pressure feedback compensation method has been applied to eliminate the first influence, the second influence has been improved by phase lead compensation method. As a result of above compensation methods, regardless of variation load condition, spring and inertia load, the compensation scheme has been verified to be effective within the range of frequency less than 25Hz by static response and dynamic response in time domain and frequency domain through experiments.

In this paper th use of compensation based on a combination of active plus reactive power at distribution model system is proposed. The basic voltage-power relationships for the linearized case on an infinite bus are used and the compensation angle is defined based on the voltage magnitude response to small power injection. Compensation is supplied at several locations, and the system is subjected to varying fault scenarios, with its response observed under different system conditions. As number of control issues for a storage-based active/reactive power compensator as a bus voltage regulator are explored to compare the effectiveness of active/reactive again reactive-only compensation.
In this paper, an engine-CVT integrated control algorithm is suggested by considering the inertia torque and the CVT ratio change response lag in acceleration. In order to compensate for drive torque time delay due to CVT response lag, two algorithms are presented: (1) an optimal engine torque compensation algorithm, and (2) an optimal engine speed compensation algorithm. Simulation results show that the optimal engine speed compensation algorithm gives better engine operation around the optimal operation point compared to the optimal torque compensation while showing nearly the same acceleration response. The performance of the proposed engine-CVT integrated control algorithms are compared with those of conventional CVT control, and It is found that optimal engine operation can be achieved by using integrated control during acceleration, and improved fuel economy can be expected while also satisfying the driver's demands.
The purpose of this study is to measure the compression temperature in cylinder by using the fine thermocouple. As for using the thermocouple, it's response time delay should be regarded, even if it is a fine one. So, the output of thermocouple needs some compensation. The compensation circuit, which consists of a differential and an adding circuit is used for the compensate the time lag. And the time constant of the compensation circuit is determined the time between the TDC and the maximum point of the thermocouple output. Using this compensation circuit, the compression temperature is investigated of the cylinder in the diesel engine.
In this paper, we present optimization technique for the response time of DVR (Dynamic Voltage Restorer) and the possible compensation range of voltage dip by the DVR system. To protect 3-phase phase-controlled rectifier from voltage dip, DVR system needs to have optimum response time as an important design factor. Although the fast response time of DVR ensures wider range of voltage dip, DVR controller has so high cost and poor stability. This paper proposes DVR system with optimum response time required for certain intensity of voltage dips and good stability to support possible compensation range of voltage dip. Proposed technique showed optimum response time and good stability for overall system. We believe that proposed technique is reliable and useful in DVR design.
This paper concerns on application of active magnetic bearing(AMB) system to levitate the elevation axis of an electro-optical sight mounted on moving vehicles. In such a system. it is desirable to retain the elevation axis within the predetermined air-gap while the vehicle is moving. A disturbance compensation control is proposed to reduce the base motion response. In the consideration of the uncertainty of the system model, a filtered-x least-mean-square(FXLMS) algorithm is used to estimate adaptively the frequency response function of the feedforward control which cancels disturbance responses. The frequency response function is fitted to an optimal feedforward control. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed control reduces the air-gap deviation to 27.7% that by feedback control alone.
Phase-shift fullbridge (PSFB) converter detects the current in the primary side for operation of the peak current mode controller (PCMC). The PCMC must used the slope compensation to solve the problem when the effective duty is over 0.5. The voltage response of PSFB converters has slower than that of buck converter because of slew interval even if the voltage controllers of two converters have same bandwidth. To overcome these problems, this work proposes a compensating method of current reference considering slew interval and fast response in the PSFB converter. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proven using the PSIM simulation and experiment.
This paper proposes a dc error compensation algorithm using dq-synchronous coordinate transform digital phase-locked-loop in single-phase grid-connected converters. The dc errors are caused by analog to digital conversion and grid voltage during measurement. If the dc offset error is included in the phase-locked-loop system, it can cause distortion in the grid angle estimation with phase-locked-loop. Accordingly, recent study has dealt with the integral technique using the synchronous reference frame phase-locked-loop method. However, dynamic response is slow because it requires to monitor one period of grid voltage. In this paper, the dc offset error compensation algorithm of the improved response characteristic is proposed by using the synchronous reference frame phase-locked-loop. The simulation and the experimental results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed dc offset error compensation algorithm.

Miller feedback compensation is introduced in a low dropout regulator (LDO) in order to obtain a capacitor-free regulator and improve the fast transient response. The conventional LDO has a limited bandwidth because of the large-size output capacitor and parasitic gate capacitance in the power MOSFET. In order to obtain a stable frequency response without the output capacitor, LDO is designed with resistor-capacitor (R-C) compensation and this is achieved with a connection between the gain-stage and the power MOS. An R-C compensator is suggested to provide a pole and zero to improve the stability. The proposed LDO is designed with the 0.35 μm CMOS process. Simulation testing shows that the phase margin in the Bode plot indicates a stable response, which is over 100o. In the load regulation, the transient time is within 55 μs when the load current changes from 0.1 to 1 mA.
