  • 정보(情報) 매핑을 사용하면 조직이 실제로 사용하고 있는 다수의 정보공급원(情報供給源) 및 서비스, 시스템들을 발견할 수 있고, 중요하지 않거나 중복되어 있거나, 불필요한 정보(情報)가 무엇인지를 발견할 수 있다. 이러한 정보자원(情報資源) 발견과정을 통하여 기업은 정보의 질(質), 접근성(接近性), 성능(性能), 유용성(有用性), 효율성(效率性)에 있어서 기업의 장점 및 약점에 연관된 문제점들과 적합성을 규명할 수가 있다.

  • Chinese phonology is called 'juexue(絶學)' in Chinese linguistics field. For this, students of in Chinese universities as well as college students in Korea is unwilling to learn it. Chinese character phonetic is a very valuable resource in Sino-China comparative study as well as the Chinese phonology area. This study was attempt to develop the content model on education of Chinese phonology, such as Middle Chinese, Old Chinese, using close the data of Chinese character phonetic for students of Korea. In addition, I also make it known that contents of this paper is not a new discovery or analysis but recycling research of existing.

  • A Mobile Sensor Network is widely used in real time applications. A critical need in Mobile Sensor Network is to achieve energy efficiency during routing as the sensor nodes have scarce energy resource. The nodes' mobility in MWSN poses a challenge to design an energy efficient routing protocol. Clustering helps to achieve energy efficiency by reducing the organization complexity overhead of the network which is proportional to the number of nodes in the network. This paper proposes"EERA: Energy Efficient Routing Algorithm for Mobile Sensor Network" is divided into five phases. 1, Cluster Formation 2.Cluster head and Transmission head selection 3.Path Establishment / Route discovery and 4,Data Transmission. Experimental Analysis has been done and is found that the proposed method performs better than the existing method with respect to four parameters.

  • Several anti-inflammatory small molecules have been found in the process of the inflammatory response, and these small molecules have been used to treat some inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Numerous tools for predicting anti-inflammatory peptides (AIPs) have emerged in recent years. However, conducting experimental validations in the lab is both resource-intensive and time-consuming. Current therapies for inflammatory and autoimmune disorders often involve nonspecific anti-inflammatory drugs and immunosuppressants, often with potential side effects. AIPs have been used in treating inflammatory illnesses like Alzheimer's disease and can limit the expression of inflammatory promoters. Recent advances in adverse incident predictions (AIPs) have been made, but it is crucial to acknowledge limitations and imperfections in existing methodologies.

  • 오늘날 복잡한 네트워크 망을 가지게 됨에 따라 네트워크 기기들의 자산식별은 관리 및 보안관점에서 중요한 사항으로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 자산들은 네트워크 망에 연결되어 있기 때문에 네트워크망 구조를 알아내고, 각 자산의 위치 및 연결 상태를 확인하는 것 또한 중요하다. 이는 네트워크 구조상의 취약점들을 밝혀내는데 사용되어지고, 이를 통하여 취약점을 보완할 수 있다. 하지만 적은 리소스를 가지는 사물인터넷의 네트워크 망에서는 네트워크 구조를 알아내기 위하여 모니터들이 보내는 Traceroute 패킷이 사물인터넷 기기들에게 과부하를 줄 수 있다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 기존에 사용 되던 더블 트리 알고리즘을 효과적으로 발전시킴으로써 사물인터넷이 이루는 네트워크 망의 부하를 줄인다. 이러한 부하 균형을 이루기 위하여 이 논문에서는 새로운 목적지 매칭 알고리즘을 제시하고, 통계학적으로 현재 탐색하고 있는 경로와 가장 겹치지 않은 경로로 탐색을 시도한다. 이를 통해서 네트워크의 부하 균형을 이루고, 부가적으로 모니터의 리소스 사용을 균등하게 한다.

Libraries for Life: A Case Study of National Library Board, Singapore

  • Library 2.0 advocates a socially rich, multimedia enabled, user originated and communally innovative environment that poses significant opportunities for the libraries to evolve and make themselves even more relevant and significant for her users. This paper presents a case study of the National Library Board of Singapore, in playing a vital role to facilitate the realisation of a long-term key national program, The Singapore Memory (SM) Project. SM embraces the attributes of the Library 2.0 environment to enable the nation's memory to be collected, organised, preserved, discovered, researched, augmented and created. The output of is an evolving collection of knowledge assets on Singapore along a Singapore Memory Content Continuum of existing content that is steadily augmented with new content. The content will be collected across all formats, in any language, from Singaporeans and non-Singaporeans, from any institution and agency, from Singapore and abroad, and from official and unofficial sources. The utopian scenario of SM Project is that any person, community, group or institution who has ever experienced Singapore in any way or has any material on Singapore will engage actively in the contribution, discovery and creation of content for the project, and thus become advocates to further encourage and catalyse more contribution, discovery and creation. The paper outlines the key approaches, concepts and ideas for the project. An important element is the proliferation, exposure and accessibility of the rich contents envisaged in the project. The SM proliferation plan along with examples of how two existing resources, namely, the Singapore Infopedia, a database of articles on Singapore's history, culture, people and events 4 and NewspaperSG, an online resource of current and historic Singapore and Malayan newspapers, have been designed are presented to demonstrate how content can be exposed, searched and discovered.

모바일 클라우드 컴퓨팅에서 상황인지 기반 모바일 장치 CPU사용 (Mobile Device CPU usage based Context-awareness in Mobile Cloud Computing)

  • 상황인지(Context-Aware) 모바일 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 어플리케이션이 사용자의 위치, 시간, 근처에 사용자와 장치 그리고, 사용자의 상황적인 정보를 분석함으로써, 사용자 경험을 증대시킬 수 있는 새로운 전도 유망한 패러다임이다. 본 논문에서는 Volare 미들웨어를 탑재한 상황인지 모바일 클라우드 컴퓨팅 시스템의 성능 연구를 제공한다. Volare 미들웨어는 리소스와 장치의 상황을 모니터하고, 실행시간에 클라우드 서비스 요구를 동적으로 적용한다. 이러한 접근은 실행시간에 상당한 비용절감 뿐 아니라, 더욱 효과적인 자원과 신뢰할 만한 클라우드 서비스를 제공할 것이다. 또한, 다른 QoS적용 정책에 대한 상황인지 모바일 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 성능을 연구했다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 배터리 레벨이 낮고 CPU 사용량은 높고, 사용자가 초기단계 QoS를 유지할 수 없을 때, 현 적용 정책에 의해서 서비스 비용이 줄어드는 것을 보여준다. 결과적으로, 본 논문에서 제안된 적용정책을 사용하면 상황에 따라 다르게 서비스 비용을 사용자들에게 제공할 수 있다.

PubMine: An Ontology-Based Text Mining System for Deducing Relationships among Biological Entities

  • Background: Published manuscripts are the main source of biological knowledge. Since the manual examination is almost impossible due to the huge volume of literature data (approximately 19 million abstracts in PubMed), intelligent text mining systems are of great utility for knowledge discovery. However, most of current text mining tools have limited applicability because of i) providing abstract-based search rather than sentence-based search, ii) improper use or lack of ontology terms, iii) the design to be used for specific subjects, or iv) slow response time that hampers web services and real time applications. Results: We introduce an advanced text mining system called PubMine that supports intelligent knowledge discovery based on diverse bio-ontologies. PubMine improves query accuracy and flexibility with advanced search capabilities of fuzzy search, wildcard search, proximity search, range search, and the Boolean combinations. Furthermore, PubMine allows users to extract multi-dimensional relationships between genes, diseases, and chemical compounds by using OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) techniques. The HUGO gene symbols and the MeSH ontology for diseases, chemical compounds, and anatomy have been included in the current version of PubMine, which is freely available at http://pubmine.kobic.re.kr. Conclusions: PubMine is a unique bio-text mining system that provides flexible searches and analysis of biological entity relationships. We believe that PubMine would serve as a key bioinformatics utility due to its rapid response to enable web services for community and to the flexibility to accommodate general ontology.
