카지노 리조트 시설계획을 위한 기초적 연구 -미국 라스베가스의 시설분석을 중심으로- (A Basic Study for the Planning of Casino Resort Facilities -Focused on the Analysis of Casino Resort Facilities in Las Vegas-)

  • The improvement of the life standard of the public by the economical growth leads their interests to the leisure activities, so that the demand for resort facilities has been increased. Especially, casino resort facilities in Kangwon-Do has been developed continuously without exact concept of casino resort design. This resort facilities has been planned by indiscreet imitation of foreign examples and non-organized developments and etc. One of the reasons for these problems may be from the lack of the knowledges and researches related to the architectural approaching of these facilities. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic informations for better understanding and improvement of planning and design direction for these facilities through a survey the famous casino resort facilities in Las Vegas. As a result of this research, Las Vegas has been changed tremendously from the casino resort to the resort complex for families with special theme and various facilities.

  • The objective of this study is on evaluation process of resort hotel management strategy. Therefore, in this study, we find try to a successful implemantation of resort hotel feasibility study and management strategy by systematizing and materialinzing the theory of resort hotel. And we have also investigated and analyzed the real status of resort hotel and then worked out the problem, and estabilished a plan for feasibility determination of resort hotel, he results of this study are as follow: 1) We need to characterize, matenance, develop the benefits of resort hotel. 2) We need to know how to establish model and facilities of resort hotel. 3) We have to inclease quality and quantity of employee's service. 4) We need to effort to satisfy customer's needs and wants through improvising and enlarging facilities of resort hotel. 5) We need to specialize the quality of F & B division. 6) We need to improve the hotel image, promote sales through promotion tools like avertisement, publicity, personel selling, sales promotion.

  • Purpose: According to previous studies, customer experience had a significant effect on consumer behaviors. In this perspective, this study investigates the structural relationship among customer experience, resort use satisfaction, and customer behavioral intentions, with focus on the mediating role of resort use satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology: Data collected from 361 individuals who had experienced the resort service were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and AMOS 29.0, involving frequency analysis, HTMT, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model testing. Result: Firstly, cognitive, and relational experiences had significant effect on resort use satisfaction. Secondly, resort use satisfaction had significant effect on customer behavioral intentions. Thirdly, resort use satisfaction had partial mediating effects in the relationship between customer experiences and customer behavioral intentions. Conclusion: This study academically confirmed the empirical link between customer experience and consumer behaviors. From a practical standpoint, it suggests the necessity of marketing activities that enhance customers' perception of their experiences, as well as resort use satisfaction and customer behavioral intentions, through systematic CS education and management of the physical environment.

설악권 휴양시설 객실공간의 실내설계 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interior Design Method of Guest Room Space in Resort Condominium)

  • This study aims at developing the interior design method of Guest Room Space in resort condominium. There needs new concepts in Guest Room Space in resort condominium where we felt sleeping, eating, in the past. And the behavior in the Guest Room Space in resort condominium become various such as refreshing, making a group, harmony a family and so on. Nowadays, The resort condominium change to complex style and it's space design reflecting user's needs. This study treats with the design item such as unit space plan, furniture, furnishing and equipment of Guest Room Space in resort condominium. As a result of this study, the interior design methods of Guest Room Space in resort condominium must reflect of fitting material, color plan, user's needs and functional divide space. (Living, Dinning, Kitchen, Toilet and Foyer) These result will become basic data future interior design in Guest Room Space in resort condominium.

리조트의 시장세분화와 포지셔닝에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Market Segmentation and the Positioning of Resorts)

  • Most of the tourist resort facilities in our country cannot be used in the winter season, and only a few spa resorts and sky resorts are available in the winter. To ameliorate this problem, various types of winter resort facilities have been constructed since 1970s and the massive development of winter resort facilities changed the resort market from a seller's market to a buyer's market. There has been however,few researches on marketing strategies for winter resorts, and there is a growing need for a rational method to maximize tourists' satisfaction and developers'profit at the same time. This research aims to develop a positining strategy to engance the marketability of winter resorts by classifying the resort market with the self-image types of users, and by analyzing the structure of the market, users' preferences, and locational factors. A survey was conducted with cases of Yong-Pyung resort, Mu-Ju resort, Alps resort, Bears resort, Back-Am spa resort, Su-An-Bo spa resort, and I-Chon spa resort. A list of questions in five categories -- similarity, characteristics, preferences, self-image, and personal characteristics of the respondents -- was constructed and tested. Among the 750 copies of questionnaire distributed, 700 were returned by only 378 were analyzed after screening missing or reckless answers. The statistical analysis of the data were conducted using techniques of correlation analysis, frequency analysis, factor analysis. Factor analysis and cluster analysis were used to group the cluster of self-image and a discriminant analysis were used to confirm this classification. The demographical characteristics were identified by frequency analysis, and resorts attributes were analyzed by oneway ANOVA analysis. Multidimensional scaling methods such as KYST, PROFIT, and PREFMAP were used for the positioning strategy.

강원랜드 스키장 설계 (Design for the Kangwonland Ski Resort)

  • This design was submitted to an invited competition for the Ski Resort of Kangwon Land which was held by Kangwon Land Resort in August, 2003. The site is located at 1∼17 Gohan-ri Gohan-eup Jungsungun Kangwon-do and has an area of 5,000,000$m^2$. The objectives of this project were to revitalize the local economy of Sabuk, Gohan which is well Down for deserted coal mines, by creating a resort complex for family group users with an environmentally friendly ski facility. This design scheme addresses three areas of concerns: First, how to boost the local economy through the proposed ski resort. By limiting lodging facilities in the ski resort, we could induce more development in the nearby towns. In order to balance the economical benefit to towns of Sabuk and Gohan, we decided to have two separate ski base facilities in each town boundary. Second, how to encourage family-oriented use of the ski resort by designing user-friendly ski slope, especially for beginner skiers. We designed 50% more beginner-level ski slope compared to average ski resorts. Third, how to make environmentally-friendly ski resort by respecting the original land form. We minimized the damage to the natural environment by protecting valuable tree groves. Also, ski slopes are designed to reduce unnecessary earth movement. This was designed under the assumption that more valley-oriented slopes would result in less cutting and banking of earthwork; this assumption was verified in comparison with other ski resorts. It is expected that this desist would serve environmentally-friendly designs in ski slopes.

경남 산청군 전통한방 휴양관광단지의 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Methods of a Tourist Resort with Traditional Oriental Medicine in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do)

  • This study attempts to propose ways for activated methods of Sancheong tourist resort with Traditional Oriental Medicine(the following this resort) by examining the placement plan, space plan and characteristics of this resort. The results of this study are as follow. First, the accessibility has to be improved for safe and quick transportation between this resort and nearby areas. The curved roads must be replaced by straight roads at least partially. Second, an experiencing space like herb farm is necessary to activate the function of the tourist resort in the aspect of the arrangement planning for this resort. Third, the roads within the complex must be improved into Ring Roads for the circulation of cars to use the space in the tourist resort in a reasonable and positive way. Fourth, various places for tourism must be developed in the rear for sightseeing tours. Moreover, the development of tourism area together with the residents must be achieved with the active participation of the local people in the festival.

리조트 기업의 조직문화에 대한 기호학적 분석 : 그레마스 행위소 모형 적용 (Semiotic approach to Resort's Organizational Culture : Applying Greimas Actant Model)

  • 본 연구는 리조트 조직의 저변에 잠재해 있으며 리조트 직원들에 의해 공유되어야 하는 조직문화를 발견하는데 목적이 있다. 최근 힐링에 대한 욕구와 지역사회의 라이프스타일 체험을 강조하는 추세에 주목해 볼 때 이는 리조트가 원래 탄생 시기부터 가지고 있었던 고유의 역할이었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 최근 리조트가 호텔 산업과 경계가 모호해지고 테마파크를 닮은 복합리조트로 변화하는 등 정체성이 흔들리고 있음을 부인할 수 없다. 리조트의 조직문화를 찾아내기 위해 16명의 리조트 전문가들을 대상으로 그레마스 행위소 모형을 기초로 제작된 심층인터뷰를 진행하였는데 3박4일간의 리조트 체험을 통해서 응답내용의 충실성을 유도하였다. 모형이 가지고 있는 6개의 행위소를 리조트를 구성하는 제반 요소와 합치시키고 응답자로 하여금 자유롭게 은유적으로 표현하도록 하였다. 응답자들은 발신자, 수신자, 주체, 객체, 보조자, 반대자를 각각 리조트, 리조트 방문객, 리조트기업, 리조트상품서비스, 리조트지원집단, 리조트방해집단에 대응시킨 결과 순서대로 심신치유, 환자, 치유사, 치유약, 치유도우미, 돌팔이약장수로 은유하였다. 은유한 내용은 모형에 따라 신화(이야기)로 구성하였으며 더 나가 조직문화에 주는 시사점으로 연결하였다. 연구의 이론적 실무적 시사점 및 한계점은 논문 말미에 포함시켰다.

  • According to increase of personal incomes, spread of automobiles, a five-day only work week and expansion of cultural life, modern people today are increasingly showing leisure time interests. Under such social circumstances in which people's spare time are gradually increasing, weekend trips accompanied with hotel staying are increasing to a greater extent rather than one-day trips. In Korea where differences between regions and four seasons are remarkable, the resort industry has developed in harmony with seasonal environments and regional characteristics. In particular, an increasing number of modern people living in the wellbeing era tends to visit spa resort hotels for recreation and health. This study intends to compare realities of local and foreign spa resort hotels and investigate space characteristics of local spa resort hotels for promotion of use. In this study, it has been found that the proposed addition of characteristic-oriented spaces to the existing recreation, service and basic facilities beside the fundamental accommodations would be able to remarkably elevate use of the hotels.

리조트호텔 공간구성에 대한 사용자 평가에 관한 연구 - 스키리조트호텔의 공간사례분석을 중심으로 - (A study on the P.O.E about the space plan of resort hotel - Focused on the case study of the space of the ski resort hotel -)

  • This study examines what the resort hotel user's requirements with the inauguration of 5 working days are. For that, the present conditions, concepts, principles, development history and examples of the domestic resort hotel were researched. Also the field survey on the real users was carried out, asking what the problems are in using the domestic resort hotel. These research materials can be utilized for the practice application on the planning of the resort hotel with the analyzing each available spaces. In the survey result, the point on the rooms which are considered as the most important aspect for the profits of the hotel got high grade, but the rest which are not related with the profits directly was revealed to get quiet low grade. This result shows the problems which must be improved considering the fact that the actual purpose of resort hotel is the lesuire and rest. Not only the convinience in using each facilities and the contentment in the aspect of room design, but the connection between the spaces will be considered in the planning on the constructing the spaces of future resort hotel.
