Effects of Glass Particle Size on the Electrical Properties of Thick Film Resistors (후막저항체의 전기적 특성에 미치는 유리입자 크기의 영향)

  • RuO2 계 후막저항체에 사용된 유리의 입도 및 연화점이 후막저항체의 전기적 특성 에 미치는 영향을 시험하기 위하여 연화점이 서로 다른 두 종류의 유리를 제조하고 이들을 미분쇄하여 각각 세 조류의 평균입도로 분급하였다. 이 유리분말들을 이용하여 여섯 종류의 후막저항체를 제조하고 그 저항체들의 전기적 특성을 평가하고 고찰하였다. 연화점이 높은 유리로 만든 후막저항체들보다 높은 쉬트 저항을 나타냈다. 또한 후막저항체들의 쉬트 저항 및 저항온도계수는 저항체들의 미세조직과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Electrical conduction mechanisms of RuO2-based thick film resistors were investigated with frequency depandence on AC conductivity. Electrical conduction mechanisms of lower resistivity system (100{{{{ OMEGA }}/sq) sintered at 600~90$0^{\circ}C$ were all metallic conduction mechanism. In case of higher resistivity (10K{{{{ OMEGA }}/sq) system, the electrical conduction mechanisms were very depenent on sintering temperature. When sintering temperature was $600^{\circ}C$, the electrical conduction mechamism was ionic, and as increasing the sintering temperature, the electrical conduction mechanism was changed from ionic to hopping conduction mechanism.

  • In this paper, we propose a method for automatic generation of equivalent circuit for unit cell of LCDTV. In order to extract a circuit model, computer program generates electrical connectivity of resistors and capacitors from the layout through pattern analysis with electrode and port information. For combining two types of independent equivalent circuits, we propose a node insertion algorithm. As a consequence, we can generate an equivalent RC circuit without increasing the capacitive elements.

  • In this article, an alternative analog multiplier circuit, using the translinear second-generation current conveyors with the external resistors. The realization method makes use of the inherited translinear loop of the current conveyor offering the positive-supply current that provides in the quartersquare algebraic identity. The proposed circuit operates in voltage mode and it achieves a high accuracy. The PSPICE simulation results confirm that the performances of the proposed multiplier circuit, such as dynamic range and accuracy, are agreed with the theoretical results.

  • In this paper, we have designed and fabricated a MMIC power amplifier for X-band using AlGaAs/InGaAs/GaAs PM-HEMTs and passive devices such as Ti thin film resistors, rectangular spiral inductors and MIM capacitors. The fabricated MMIC power amplifier for X-band shows that S/ sub 21/ and S$_{11}$ are 14.804 ㏈ and -29.577 at 8.18 GHz, respectively. The chip size is 1.86$\times$1.29 $\textrm{mm}^2$.>.>.

  • In this paper a method of designing FIR filters without digital arithmetic operationsi is persented. The filter coefficients are represented by resistors combined with a differential amplifier. With this method an FIR filter can be simply impemented without refering to complex digital arithmetic operations. Furthermore, in this scheme, no additional D/A converter is needed for D/A conversion. Spectral response response of a pulse shaping filter of 17 coefficients is shown as an illustration.

  • This paper presents a neural network IC for Korean vowels recognition. The neural network is composed with three levels and which is learned by Back Propagation algorithm. In the neural network IC, the neuron bodys and synapses are implemented with CMOS inverters and ion-implanted polysilicon resistors.

  • A novel microstrip type low-pass filter using thin or thick film resistors is proposed to efficiently eliminate harmonic spurious response in stop-band. The proposed low-pass filter shows the spurious suppression enhancement of 20 dB over a conventional one. The designed low-pass filter could be used as a harmonic rejection filter of a local oscillator for Ku-band satellite payload system.

  • We have developed the calibration technique of the VT comparator using nonreactive standard resistors and a standard capacitor, which evaluates both accuracy and linearity of the VT comparator by comparing experimental values with theoretical values. The specification for phase displacement of VT comparator have been revaluated.

  • This paper describes implementation and simulation of Chua's oscillator circuits with a cubic non-linear resistor. The two-terminal nonlinear resistor NR consists of one Op Amp two multipliers and five resistors. The Chua's oscillator circuit is implemented with analog electronic devices. Period-1 limit cycle period-2 limit cycle period-4 limit cycle and spiral attractor double-scroll attractor and 2-2 window are observed experimentally from the laboratory model and simulated by computer for the presented model. Comparing the result of experiments and simulations the spectrums are satisfied.
