The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of local community resident-participation factor on the local community resident-participation determinant and the formation of social capital. Accordingly, questionnaire method was used for 389 residents in A-dong that have participated in community building projects in Busan region to analyze their demographical factor & residential area factor and local community resident-participation factors of satisfaction of neighborhood environment, satisfaction of administrative support, local attachment and neighbor connectedness effects. The analysis results showed that first, the satisfaction of outside support and neighbor connectedness were found to be the main factors. Second, the satisfaction of outside support, local attachment and neighbor connectedness showed meaningful effects in the state where these factors were controlled. Third, the effects of each social capital sub-element were verified and the results showed that while trust and network had meaningful effects on satisfaction of outside support, local attachment and neighbor connectedness effects, norm of reciprocity showed meaningful effects on gender, house ownership status, local attachment and neighbor connectedness, thereby showing differences. Based on these study findings, implications and suggestions were presented.

Many business enterprises in domestic housing industry are focusing on the development of environment friendly apartment complex to strengthen the competitiveness by upgrading their company's image through differentiation of the qualities and satisfying the customer's needs. Many apartment complex have achieved temporary or real certification by green building certification system, but there weren't enough studies on how much residents are satisfied by their certified complex. In this study, we want to clarify the factors of resident's satisfaction level in certified environment friendly complex by comparing the social and economical characteristics of resident. For this study, we chose and compare 4 environment friendly apartment complex considered to be built by the best environmental way in metropolitan area, and 4 other apartment complex which are also considered to be similar in terms of the condition of location and period of stay.

The purpose of this study is to support satisfaction for reasonable management method to elevate the enhancement of management attitude and the satisfaction of management state for Multi-family Housing. This study was intended to find out variables which influence on the satifaction and attitude of resident to the management of Apartment, and to investigate variables influencing on the satisfaction and attitude of resident to the management of Apartment. In this study, survey research method is employed. The sample is taken from 336 APT. resident's living in Seoul, from 13th of Sep. to 20th of Sep, in 1993. Used statistica] method are Frequency, Percentage, 1-test, One-way Anova, Duncan-test, Multip]e Regression. The major finding were as follows: 1) The work of management of Multi-family Housing was classified into three type ; a)administration management b) maintenance management c) community-life control. 2) The management attitude of Apartment inhabitant is very high, especially .the attitude of maintenance management is the higest. But they disagree with the raise of management cost necessary to maintenance management. 3) The satisfaction of administration management, maintenance management, community-life control management is all low in the management condition of Apartment.'1'he management method of present Apartment shows a little problem.

As the result, 5 factors of residential life management of apartment house were extracted. They are I. Residential life accommodation service, II. Residential life support service, III. Resident's activety support and announcement of management works. IV. Safety and order mainteanance, V. Precaution to accident.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was intended to examine the importance and role of social capital in the local community, and empirically identify the relationships among the social capital, community spirit, resident satisfaction, and community participation of the residents of urban-rural complex areas. Methods: This study conducted a survey was conducted with residents of the urban-rural complex areas to collect data, and the data were statistically and empirically analyzed to verify the hypothesis. Results: As a result of the study, first, networks and trust as local social capital were found to have positive effects on local attachment. Second, networks and trust were found to have positive effects on social ties. Third, local attachment and social ties were found to have positive effects on resident satisfaction. Finally, community participation was found to have moderating effects on the relationship between social ties and resident satisfaction. Conclusion: Through this study, the importance and role of local social capital in urban-rural complex areas, where regional problems are highly likely to occur, were reviewed, and basic data necessary to solve the social problems at hand in urban-rural complex areas and promote continuous development were provided can be said to be the significance of this study.

As the South Korean government has recently announced its intention to implement a three-year policy on building additional libraries and complex community centers as the community-based everyday life SOC project, society has shed new light on libraries as public service institutions. Accordingly, this study was conducted to determine the factors affecting resident satisfaction with public libraries, intention to use, and intention to recommend public libraries, for use as basic data to increase resident satisfaction and use of public libraries in South Korea. To this end, we conducted a survey on residents who have experience with using 13 public libraries designated as regional representative libraries in South Korea. The surveyed data was verified with a structural equation using AMOS. The results were as follows. First, all factors, such as material, facility, staff, program, and service, except location and space, had a significant effect on resident satisfaction with public libraries. Second, it was found that satisfaction had a significant effect on the intention to use and intention to recommend. The results of this study may contribute to qualitatively improving public library services by reflecting the changing needs of users, as well as social trends at the working level of libraries in South Korean society.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of air pollution level in industrial and residential district of Ulsan on resident's evaluation and cognition for indoor environment. The evaluation of air pollution materials (as $SO_2$, $NO_2$, $O_3$, CO, PM10) were investigated to understand the distributional characteristics in survey area, and air quality monitoring data from 2007 to 2009 were used. The data was applied in a realtime measurement of industrial and residential area respected to difference of the pollution level in Ulsan. The questionnaire of this survey for resident's cognition was to find out characteristics on perception of indoor environment and outdoor air quality recognition based on the distinct characteristics of the areas. The results of this study shows that resident's satisfaction at clean level outdoor air and indoor environment were different whether it was residential area or industrial area and outdoor air pollution level has direct influence on resident's satisfaction in indoor environment.

The purpose of this study is to grasp effectiveness of Mountain Village Package Development Work. Mountain Village Package Development Work was started for the welfare and economic activation plan of residents of village from 1995. We want to grasp a practical economic and welfare of residents of village through the village that is enforced Mountain Village Package Development Work after two-three years. The process of this study is as follows. First, we select the village that Mountain Village Package Development Work finished. Second, we grasp the status of Mountain Village Package Development Work through a field study on destination village. Third, we investigate the resident satisfaction.

This study, the meaning of historical and cultural content utilization in urban regeneration was examined and in the process, the causal relationship between each variable was verified through path analysis among physical, cultural, social, and economic factors. The purpose of this study is to find the main variables of historical and cultural content urban regeneration projects in which the moderating effect of economic factors and demographic characteristics, which are mediating effects, have a significant effect on resident participation and life satisfaction of local residents. Furthermore, by presenting a more integrated and effective urban regeneration policy plan, it is intended to ultimately contribute to the vitalization and direction of urban regeneration.

This study aims to find the causal relationship between the effects of apartment inhabitants' life management and administrative management on housing satisfaction. The study results are as follows. Firstly, life management showed to have a positive effect on life satisfaction. In other words, the better the management of public order and facilities, the higher the satisfaction of housing satisfaction. Thus, the principal agent of management needs to increase inhabitants' housing satisfaction through education and training on developing life management techniques. Secondly, administrative management showed to have a positive effect on life satisfaction. Thus, the more accurate the completion documents and management transfer process necessary for administrative management, the higher the cost-cutting effects of accounting, construction, and service contracts, the more transparent the resident agreement process in accordance with management policies, the more transparent the election process of building representatives and resident representatives, and the higher the effects of energy saving, the higher the housing satisfaction of inhabitants. This revealed that the principal agent of management needs to increase housing satisfaction through education and training on developing administrative management techniques because the level of administrative management had a positive effect on housing satisfaction. As a result, in order to create reliability between inhabitants and the principal agents of management, the transparency of administrative management such as document disclosure must be ensured, thus improving the housing satisfaction of inhabitants.
