  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the factor influencing in order to increase the intention to revisit rural experience tourism. 181 men and women who had experienced rural experience tourism were surveyed in a Self-Assessment Questionnaire. Some farming experience, life experience, cultural experience, and leisure experience were set as independent variables as representative programs of rural experience tourism, satisfaction and trust as mediated variables, and relationships as dependent variables. Here, the relationship is regarded as a variable representing the intention to revisit. When performing multi-group path analysis by separating men and women, both men and women had a statistically significant positive (+) effect in the Leisure experience→Satisfaction path and the Trust→Relation path. In addition, the paths that were statistically significant for women were not statistically significant, but were statistically significant only for men were Farm experience→Satisfaction path, Farm experience→Relation path, and Leisure experience→Relation path. In addition, the paths that were not statistically significant for men, but statistically significant for women were Culture experience→Satisfaction and Trust→Satisfaction. According to this study, in order to increase the intention to revisit, both men and women should consider leisure experience. And men should emphasize farming experience, while women should emphasize cultural experience. It is considered that there is a need to further subdivide leisure experience, farming experience and cultural experience for the region. This study has a limitation of only 181 people. More large-scale research will be possible in the future.

  • This study examines the lifestyle and gender effects of Chinese students in Korea on the Korean apparel brand experience. In addition, this study explores the effect of various brand experiences on attitudes toward Korean apparel brands. This study targets 355 Chinese university students who live in Korea. The results show that a Chinese students' lifestyle consists of four factors: adventure-seeking, sociability, individualism, and materialism. Brand experience consists of five different experiences: cognitive, affective, relational, sensory, and behavioral experience. Adventure-seeking lifestyle affects all five brand experiences and sociability influences sensory and relational experience. Individualism influences relational and behavioral experience; however, materialism affects four brand experiences (except sensory experience). Female students indicate a higher level of brand experience (except relational experience than) male students. Finally, three brand experiences (affective, sensory, and relational experience) impact brand attitude. Theoretical and managerial implications of the results are discussed along with limitations and future research directions.

  • Background: Good patient experience is positively associated with adherence to treatment recommendations, better clinical effectiveness, and health outcomes. This study aims to find out the key factors affecting positive patient experience to improve the quality of care using nationally representative survey data. Methods: The data was collected from the 6th National Health Nutrition Survey in 2015. Four patient experience items were investigated for patients with visiting outpatient care over the past year. Positive patient experience was defined as a case of responding always or usually yes. The t-test, chi-square test, and multiple logistic regression were performed to determine the key factors affecting the outpatient experience. Results: More than 80% of the respondents reported their care experience as positive excluding doctor spending enough time during the consultation. Male, poor health status, and single/divorced, and the longer time interval between outpatient care visit and survey were found to be significantly correlated with negative care experiences in the multiple logistic regression. Patients who received outpatient care at the oriental medicine clinic had a positive experience compared to those received outpatient care at the general hospital. However, patient factors including age, income, job, and insurance type had no significant association with patient experience. Conclusion: Health care providers should prioritize patients who report negative patient experiences and implement management decisions to improve the patient experience.

  • Influences of convergent services on the overall industry has become noticeable. Various services are becoming to converge into a single platform because of ever-hanging needs of digital service users. However, few studies have investigated how users' perception of convergent services as well as the quality of experience that service users have while using the convergent services. Therefore, this study aims at identifying perceived patterns of convergent services by IPTV users, which is one of the representative convergent-ervice platforms. It also aims at identifying the impact of perceived convergence pattern on the relationship between goal congruency among individual services and the quality of user experience. Two empirical studies were conducted to accomplish the research goals. We have constructed two prototypes of convergent digital services in the IPTV environment and conducted controlled experiments to verify the research hypotheses. The results indicate that design similarities of two services substantially influence the perceived patterns of convergent services. It was also found that the perceived convergent patterns have significant moderating effects on the impact of perceived goal congruence upon the quality of user experience. This paper ends with limitations as well as implications of the study results.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the structure of mothers of mentally handicapped daughters' lived experience, to apprehend the connectedness of the structure of the experience with concept of Parse's human becoming theory, and to provide a foundation for nursing research and education. Data collection was conducted from October 1995 to April 1996. Research participants were eight mothers of mentally handicapped daughters whose ages ranged from 12 to 18 attending special schools located in either Inchon or Seoul. The researcher had interviews with them over their lived experience conducted tape recorded, and made an analysis according to Parse's “human becoming research methodoloy.” The data were collected using the dialogical engagement process “I and You,” the participant researcher and the participant subject. The data were analyzed using the extraction-synthesis and heuristic interpretation. The structural integration is illustrated in the following : 1) Realizing the mother's role of mentally handicapped daughters and admitting situation. 2) Concealing a part of their relationship with others is interpreted as revealing-concealing. 3) Living a life kept moving between separating and connecting. 4) Their flight back voluntarily to improve the situation is interpreted as powering. The conceptual integration which emerged was the lived experience of mothers is powering through the revealing-concealing and connecting-separating of valuing.

  • The purpose of this study is to elucidate the impact of authenticity on experience value and subjective well-being among visitors who have participated in direct experiential activities in experiential fishing villages. The research method used literature research methods and empirical research methods using questionnaires, and this questionnaire was composed by determining three major variables and seven constituent factors for each variable through factor analysis and conducting prior research and preliminary surveys. The survey was conducted from February 5, 2023 to April 5, 2023 among experimental fishing villages with excellent ratings for scenery (environment), service, experience, accommodation, and food, and four villages that can experience tidal flats and manage customers online. The survey was conducted from February 5, 2023 to April 5, 2023, among experimental fishing villages with excellent ratings for scenery (environment), service, experience, accommodation, and food, and four villages that can experience tidal flats and manage customers online. The results of this study are as follows. First, the factors of authenticity in experiential fishing villages include three sub-factors: objective authenticity, constructive authenticity, and existential authenticity. The factors of experience value include two sub-factors: emotional values and functional values. Subjective well-being is derived from positive emotion and life satisfaction. Second, upon examining the importance of authenticity in experiential fishing villages, it was found that existential authenticity and objective authenticity, in that order, have a significant impact on emotional values. However, constructive authenticity did not have a significant impact on emotional values. Third, in terms of functional values, constructive authenticity, existential authenticity, and objective authenticity, in that order, had a significant impact. Fourth, experience value, in the order of emotional values and functional values, had a significant impact on positive emotion and life satisfaction of subjective well-being. Therefore, it was confirmed that the authenticity of experiential fishing villages is important as a strategy to enhance experience value and subjective well-being. Especially, considering that the majority of visitors to experiential fishing villages are family-centered (86.5%), applying marketing management strategies to develop programs that enhance existential authenticity and improve emotional values could elevate the subjective well-being of experiential visitors.
