  • Purpose. The purpose of this study was to analyze the trend of the narrative therapy research on 42 studies, the master's and doctor's dissertations in Korea and to propose a direction of the narrative therapy study. Methods. The material used for this study were 42 studies collected from National Digital Library database. The analytic frame of this study is on the year of study, research design, research subjects, key concept, major of researcher and narrative therapy program. Results. Regarding research design, quasi-experimental study was the most used and survey study, program development research in this order. As a research subject, adolescents were the most used and child, aged, in this order. As the key concept, self-esteem was the most used and there were aggression, depression, self-efficacy, etc. As the major of researcher, counseling were the most used and theology, pedagogy, in this order. Conclusions. As a result on the research above, following recommendation can be made. Narrative therapy program should be develop the verify on effect of variables. Narrative therapy study needs to expanded to various subjects. In education field, we should be develop the various methods to apply narrative therapy.

  • Bud rot (BR) is the most devastating disease affecting oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) crops in Colombia. Its causal agent, Phytophthora palmivora, initiates the infection in immature oil palm leaflets producing necrotic lesions, followed by colonization of opportunistic necrotrophs, which increases disease damage. To improve the characterization of the disease, we transformed P. palmivora using Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation (ATMT) to include the fluorescent proteins CFP-SKL (peroxisomal localization), eGFP and mRFP1 (cytoplasmic localization). The stability of some transformants was confirmed by Southern blot analysis and single zoospore cultures; additionally, virulence and in vitro growth were compared to the wild-type isolate to select transformants with the greatest resemblance to the WT isolate. GFP-tagged P. palmivora was useful to identify all of the infective structures that are commonly formed by hemibiotrophic oomycetes, including apoplastic colonization and haustorium formation. Finally, we detected cell death responses associated with immature oil palm tissues that showed reduced susceptibility to P. palmivora infection, indicating that these tissues could exhibit age-related resistance. The aim of this research is to improve the characterization of the initial disease stages and generate cell biology tools that may be useful for developing methodologies for early identification of oil palm materials resistant or susceptible to BR.

  • Objective: This study was conducted to identify trends in teacher education research for early childhood teachers in Korea from 2013 to 2023, aiming to provide practical data for early childhood teacher education research. Methods: For this purpose, 62 articles published in Korean journals were analyzed according to the specified criteria. Through the analysis, we closely examined research trends, educational practices, and trends in educational program development. Results: First, both quantitative and qualitative research have been conducted steadily since 2015. The majority of participants were childcare center teachers, and numerous studies focused on program development. Second, among the trends in teacher education practices, many studies aimed to improve teaching skills. Third, concerning the trend of teacher education program development research, various research methods were utilized, with quantitative research being conducted in 2015, 2020, and 2022. Particular, regarding independent and dependent variables, numerous studies focused on enhancing teaching effectiveness and educational knowledge. Conclusion/Implications: Based on the results, we offer implications for the education policy field and related organizations, along with recommendations for enhancing the guidance and support of early childhood teacher education in program development and implementation.

  • This papepr analyzes the causes of the crisis of Library and Information Science and proposes an management program of LIS. To overcome this crisis, the author made an management program by solidifying LIS as a science and enlarging research fields. To solidify LIS as a science, it can be helpful to translate classical literature on LIS into Korean for universality, and to base our own history and culture for individuality. Enlarging research fields of LIS will help to enrich theories and to develop new jobs. She suggests archives, local studies collection, preservation and literature on North Korea as additional research fields by example.
