Individual adoption and sustained usage of information technology(IT) are crucial prerequisites for exploiting IT as integral components of organizational work. Previous studies on technology adoption in workplace suggest that acceptance behavior is influenced by a variety of factors such as individual differences, social influences, beliefs, attitudes, and situational influences. In this paper, we introduce a research model to predict the usage behavior of intranet in workplace and also explain the causal relationships among variables. Based on the survey of 333 intranet users, this study uses structural equation model with LISREL 8.12. This study suggests several major results from surveys and analysis from them. Perceived use is influenced by intranet experience, task equivocality, organizational support, and perceived ease of use, Experience and organizational support determine perceived ease of use. Task equivocality, task interdependence, and organizational support have positive effects on subjective norm. On the other hand, present usage, which is a dependent variable in this model, is influenced by perceived use, experience, task interdependence, and organizational support.

Due to the recent explosive progress of Web, We can easily access a large number of images from m. In this paper, we describe our approach of developing a general purpose content based image retrieval system over the H using a Web agent. The Web agent extracts text information of images from the links and file contents in HTML. The proposed system retrieves the images from database using the query by sketch and the query by example on Web browser. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the new approach.

The present paper mainly treats with almost f-cosymplectic manifolds. This notion contains almost cosymplectic and almost Kenmotsu manifolds. Almost cosymplectic manifolds introduced in ［1］ have been studied by many schalors, say ［2］, ［3］, ［4］, and almost Kenmotsu manifolds introduced in ［5］ have been studied in ［6］, ［7］. The present paper studies some geometrical and topological properties of the canonical foliation defined by the contact distribution of an almost f-cosymplectic manifold. The purpose of the present paper is to extend the results obtained in ［8］, ［9］.

Verification of efficiency in data management fuzzy entropy and similarity measure were discussed and verified by applying reliable data selection problem and numerical data similarity evaluation. In order to calculate the certainty or uncertainty fuzzy entropy and similarity measure are designed and proved. Designed fuzzy entropy and similarity are considered as dissimilarity measure and similarity measure, and the relation between two measures are explained through graphical illustration. Obtained measures are useful to the application of decision theory and mutual information analysis problem. Extension of data quantification results based on the proposed measures are applicable to the decision making and fuzzy game theory.

The prediction method of the parameter C/sub gs/ of CMOS transistor is proposed by calculating the mobil charge in inversion layer of COMS transistor. This parameter C/sub gs/ decided on the cutoff frequency in MOS transistor in RF range and coupled input and output. This parameter C/sub gs/ in RF range is very important parameter in small signal circuit model. This proposed method is contributed to developing software of extracting parameter value in equivalent circuit model. The method provide the important information to construct a RF nonlinear model for multifinger gate MOSFET. This method will be very valuable to develop a large signal MOSFET model for nonlinear RF IC design.

In this paper, a new associative memory system for analog time-sequential data processing is proposed. This system effectively associate time-sequential data using not only matching with present data but also matching with past data. Furthermore in order to improve error correction ability, weight varying in time domain is introduced in this system. The network is simulated with several periodic time-sequential input patterns including noise. The results show that the proposed system has ability to correct input errors. We expect that the proposed system may be applied for a real time processing of analog time-sequential information.

In this study we consider the problem of MPS(master production planning) of TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor - Liquid Crystal Display) production factory. Due to the complexities of the TFT-LCD production processes, it is difficult to build effective MPS. This study presents an algorithm having a concept of IDPQ(Ideal Daily Production Quantity) that considers line balancing of TFT-LCD production process. In general, the MPS building procedure does not consider line balancing in non-bottleneck processes. MPS without considering line balancing may make ineffective schedule. We present algorithms for building MPS considering factory capacity and line balancing according to the sales order.

The necessity for services of emergency communication systems to be uninterrupted and reliable has brought forward strict requirements for express software upgrades of base stations. Based on reconfigurability technology, this paper presents a protocol reconfiguration scheme for emergency communication base stations. By introducing the concept of 'local safe state,' the proposed scheme could make the updating and replacement of the protocol software flexible and maintain interactions during the updating procedure to achieve seamless system upgrades. Further, taking TETRA protocol stack and VxWorks operating system as an example, specific processes and realization methods of reconfiguration are proposed in this paper, along with the measurements of the factors impacting on the system performance. Simulation results show that, compared with traditional technology, the method proposed significantly improves the system efficiency and does not interrupt system services.
