가정간편식(HMR)의 안전성 관리체계 (Management system for ensuring safety of HMR (Home Meal Replacement) products)

  • Due to the nature of HMR food that is susceptible to contamination, its safety management is becoming more important. The relevant food types in food code corresponding to HMR foods are addressed, and the criteria for hygiene indicator bacteria and food poisoning bacteria, and storage and distribution standards according to the product type were presented. The government's safety management for HMR foods is basically carried out through the Food Sanitation Act. Those who intend to do HMR business must complete business registration or declaration, hygiene education, health examination of employees, and comply with legal obligations such as HACCP application. The government confirms compliance with legal requirements through hygiene inspection and monitoring inspection of products. However, the safety of HMR foods is not realized by the safety management system alone. A food safety culture should be established in which industry workers and consumers carry out actions to ensure food safety.

  • Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP) developed new IP-2 packages to transport low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste (LILW) steel drums from nuclear power plants to a disposal facility in accordance with IAEA and Korean transport regulations of radioactive material. Radiation shielding evaluation of the packages was carried out to demonstrate compliance with the regulatory requirements for IP-2 packages of radioactive material. Dose rate limits of LILW drums contained in the packages were determined.

  • ETRI has developed the EQM (Engineering Qualification model) payload system for the communications and broadcasting satellite (CBS) with Korean local companies. This paper describes a series of environmental tests such as vibration, thermal/thermal vacuum, and EMC tests. All the development processes including the design, implementation, integration and workmanship were verified and evaluated by these tests. The results of the functional tests and the compliance to the requirements are also presented. The technologies and heritage obtained from this development will be applied to the development of the payload system for the Korean communication satellite in the near future.

  • 항공 및 국방 산업 둥에서는 고안전성 임베디드 시스템의 신뢰성과 안전성을 보장하기 위해 임베디드 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 정형기법을 적용하고 있다. 본 논문은 그러한 정형기법을 적용하여 임베디드 시스템 소프트웨어의 요구사항 명세(Software Requirements Specification : SRS)와 요구명세를 바탕으로 실제 구현을 위한 설계명세(Software Design Specification : SDS)를 정형기법을 이용하여 명세하였다. 본 논문은 정형 명세 언어로 작성된 요구명세와 설계명세 간의 부합성 검사를 하고 더 나아가 임베디드 시스템 요구 분석에서 더 정확하게 소프트웨어를 구현할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

Monitoring of Red Pepper Powder and Seasoned Red-Pepper Sauce using Species-Specific PCR in Conjunction with Whole Genome Amplification

  • 고추는 한국에서 매우 중요한 양념 중 하나이다. 하지만 수입 고춧가루와 다진 양념(다대기)에 부과되는 관세율(45%/270%)의 차이로 인해, 다진 양념이 수입된 후, 건조 및 분쇄 과정을 거쳐 고춧가루로 제작되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 종 특이 PCR 기술과 whole-genome amplification 방법을 접목하여 고춧가루(N=45) 및 다진 양념(N=5) 제품의 사용원료(고추, 마늘, 양파, 파, 생강)를 분석하였다. 모니터링 결과, 39개 고춧가루 제품은 표시사항을 준수하였으며, 6개 고춧가루 및 5개 다진 양념 제품은 제조 기준을 충족시키지 못했다. 따라서 분석 제품의 22%가 표시사항을 준수하지 못한 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 본 연구에 사용한 분석 방법은 고춧가루 제품에 사용된 원료분석에 적합한 방법임을 입증하였다.

REVIEW OF DYNAMIC LOADING J-R TEST METHOD FOR LEAK BEFORE BREAK OF NUCLEAR PIPING

  • In order to apply the leak before break (LBB) concept to nuclear piping systems, the dynamic strain aging effect of low carbon steel materials has to be taken into account, in compliance with the requirements of the Korean Standard Review Guide (KSRG) 3.6.3-1. For this goal, J-R tests are needed for a range of various temperatures and loading rates, including dynamic loading conditions. In the dynamic loading J-R test, the unloading compliance method can not be applied to measure the crack growth and direct current potential drop (DCPD) method; this method also has a problem defining the crack initiation point. The normalization method is known as a very useful method to determine the J-R curve under dynamic loading because it does not need additional equipment or complicated loading sequences such as electric current or unloading. This method was accepted by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) as a standard test method E1820 A15 in 2001. However, it has not yet been clearly verified yet if the normalization method is sufficiently reliable to be applied to LBB. In this study, the basic background of the J-integral, LBB and dynamic loading J-R test are explained, and the current status for dynamic loading J-R test methods are reviewed from the view point of LBB for nuclear piping. In particular, the theoretical and historical background of the normalization method which has received attention recently, is summarized. Recent studies for this method are introduced and future works are suggested that may improve the reliability of LBB for nuclear piping.

유럽항공안전청 형식증명 감항기준에 부합하는 엔진가속시험 사이클 수립 (Establishing Engine Accelerated Mission Test Cycles complying with the CS-E of European Aviation Safety Agency)

  • 유럽항공안전청에서는 항공기 엔진의 형식증명을 위한 감항기준으로 CS-E (Certification Specification-Engine)를 적용하고 있다. 본 감항기준에 따라 형식증명을 받기 위한 입증 항목 중에 하나는 엔진제작사(형식증명소지자)가 창정비 주기 내에 엔진의 감항성을 유지할 수 있음을 입증하는 것이다. 이에 대한 입증방법으로 엔진의 창정비 주기에서 엔진 임무 거동을 가속하여 시험할 수 있는 가속임무시험이 가장 많이 사용된다. 국내 소형민수헬기 프로그램의 일환으로 개발되는 엔진은 유럽항공안전청의 형식증명 획득을 목표로 국제 공동 개발 중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 이 엔진의 형식증명을 위해 국외 원제작사와 협력 하에 수행되는 가속임무시험에 대한 시험절차를 수립하고, 감항기준 CS-E의 해당 요건과 개발 대상 엔진의 설계 및 운용 특성을 고려한 가속임무시험 사이클을 정립하였다.

영국 해상보험법상 담보(warranty)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Rule of Warranty in the English Law of Marine Insurance)

  • Marine insurance contracts, which intended to provide indemnity against marine risks upon the payment of price, known as a premium, originated in Northern Italy in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. The law and practice were later introduced into England through the Continent. It is, therefore, quite exact that English and European marine insurance law have common roots. Nevertheless, significant divergences between English and European insurance systems occurred since the late 17th century, mainly due to different approaches adopted by English courts. The rule of warranty in English marine insurance was developed and clarified in the second part of the 18th century by Lord Mansfield, who laid the foundations of the modern English law of marine insurance, and developed different approaches, especially in the field of warranty in marine insurance law. Since the age of Lord Mansfield, English marine insurance law has a unique rule on warranty. This article is, therefore, designed to analyse the overall rule of the rule of warranty in English marine insurance law. The result of analysis are as following. First, warranties are incorporated to serve a very significant function in the law of insurance, that is, confining or determining the scope of the cover agreed by the insurer. From the insurer's point of view, such the function of warranties is crucial, because his liability, agreed on the contract of insurance, largely depend on in, and the warranties, incorporated in the contract play an essential role in assessing the risk. If the warranty is breached, the risk initially agreed is altered and that serves the reason why the insurer is allowed to discharge automatically further liability from the date of breach. Secondly, the term 'warranty' is used to describe a term of the contract in general and insurance contract law, but the breach of which affords different remedies between general contract law and insurance contract law. Thirdly, a express warranty may be in any form of words from which the intention to warrant is to be inferred. An express warranty must be included in, or written upon, the policy, or must be contained in some document incorporated by reference into the policy. It does not matter how this is done. Fourthly, a warranty is a condition precedent to the insurer's liability on the contract, and, therefore, once broken, the insurer automatically ceases to be liable. If the breach pre-dates the attachment of risk, the insurer will never put on risk, whereas if the breach occurs after inception of risk, the insurer remains liable for any losses within the scope of the policy, but has no liability for any subsequent losses. Finally, the requirements on the warranty must be determined in according to the rule of strict construction. As results, it is irrelevant: the reason that a certain warranty is introduced into the contract, whether the warranty is material to the insurer's decision to accept the contract, whether or not the warranty is irrelevant to the risk or a loss, the extent of compliance, that is, whether the requirements on the warranty is complied exactly or substantially, the unreasonableness or hardship of the rule of strict construction, and whether a breach of warranty has been remedied, and the warranty complied with, before loss.

군용항공기 비행성 분야의 효율적인 감항인증 입증방법에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Efficient Compliance Method for Airworthiness Certification in the field of Flying Qualities of Military Aircraft)

  • 군용항공기의 개발시험과 양산 운용에서의 비행안전을 보장하기 위해 감항성 확보는 매우 중요하다. 비행성 분야의 기준은 최신 감항인증기준인 MIL-HDBK-516C의 6장(비행기술)에서 다루고 있으며, 이 기준의 표준은 군용항공기 비행성 개발규격인 MIL-STD-1797B의 특정 장절을 인용하고 있다. 그러나 2006년에 미 국방부에서 발표된 MIL-STD-1797B는 국내에 공개되지 않았기 때문에, 국내에서 개발되는 군용항공기의 비행성 분야는 이전 기준인 MIL-HDBK-516B Expanded의 6장(비행기술)을 적용한다. MIL-HDBK-516B Expanded내 비행성 기준들의 표준은 각종 개발규격서에서 발췌하여 불명확한 부분이 존재하고, 동일한 내용을 여러 기준들에서 입증해야 하는 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 MIL-HDBK-516B Expanded의 비행성 기준들을 입증 내용에 따라 분류하고 입증 방안을 제시함으로써, 감항인증 확보를 위한 효과적인 입증방법을 제시하였다.

고객의 요구사항에 기반한 데이터품질 평가속성 및 우선순위 도출 (Derivation of Data Quality Attributes and their Priorities Based on Customer Requirements)

  • 데이터품질 속성으로는 ISO/IEC 기관 및 국내/외 여러 기관에서 제시한 속성이 존재하지만, 이러한 기준 및 가이드를 현실적으로 조직에 적용하기에는 시간과 비용이 상당히 소요된다. 따라서 조직환경의 제약사항이 존재하여도 적용 가능한 데이터품질 평가속성의 정의가 필요하다. 이 연구의 목적은 고객의 요구사항 기반하에 프로세스를 체계적으로 관리하고, 정량적으로 데이터를 평가하기 위한 데이터품질 평가속성과 우선순위 도출에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 데이터품질 표준(DQC-M)을 매개체로 RGT 기법을 사용하여 데이터품질 속성의 고객 인지구조(Construct)를 도출하고, 도출된 Construct 간의 상관분석을 수행하여 AHP기법으로 평가속성의 가중치 및 우선순위를 선별하였다. 그 결과 데이터품질 평가속성에서 1레벨에서는 일관된 체계, 정확한 데이터, 효율적 환경, 유연한 관리, 지속적 개선 순위가 결정되었다. 또한 2레벨의 19개 속성 중에서는 통제성(13%), 준거성(10%), 요구완전성(9.6%), 정확성(8.4%), 추적가능성(6.8%)이 상위 5순위로 결정되었다.
