라이프스타일을 고려한 유비쿼터스 주거 공간 계획 연구 (A Study on the planning of Ubiquitous housing for the Lifestyle)

  • According to the ROK 2010 census, representatives living arrangement are changing from 4 people per household to 2 people. Increasing number of elderly household and single household, the variety of lifestyles there has been a type of family structure. In this study, 1) through a precedent study review and case analysis to deduct representative group of lifestyle of Korean household. 2) Proposing spatial configuration according to the preferred lifestyle. 3) Deducting residential U-services from which specified from "Ubiquitous City Construction Project Operation Guide (2009)" of the korean Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. 4) Deduct highly expected U-service by each of lifestyle. As a result, spatial configuration and U-Services are proposed by changes of lifestyle which is based on ROK 2010 census.

복사유체의 복사열전달 수치 적분에 관한 연구 (Investigation on Numerical Integration for Radiation Heat Transfer in Radiating Fluid)

  • Interaction between fluid flow and thermal radiation has received considerable attention due to its numerous applications in engineering field. In this case the thermofluid properties of radiating fluid vary with the variation of temperature field caused by absorption and emission of radiant heat. To analyze the radiation heat transfer in radiating fluid, the simultaneous solution of the radiative transfer equation (RTE) and the fluid dynamics equations is required. This means that the numerical procedure used for the RTE must be computationally efficient to permit its inclusion in the other submodels, and must be compatible with the other transport equations. The finite volume method (FVM) and the discrete ordinates method (DOM) are usually employed to simulate radiation problems in generalized coordinates. These two representative methods are examined and compared, especially in view of the numerical integration of the radiation intensity over solid angle. The FVM shows better accuracy than the DOM owing to less constraints of the selection of control angle.

The Effect of Environmental Factors on Phage Stability and Infectivity on Their Host Bacteria: a Case Study for an Escherichia coli Phage (T7), a Listeria Phage (A511), and a Salmonella Phage (Felix O1)

  • The effectiveness of phage biocontrol depends on the activity of bacteriophage in a given environment. In order to investigate the infectivity and the stability of bacteriophages in representative environments, three virulent phages, Listeria phage A511, Salmonella phage Felix O1, and Escherichia coli phage T7, were subjected to different temperatures, pHs and salt concentrations (NaCl). Phage infectivity was also determined in the presence of divalent cations ($Mg^{2+}$ or $Ca^{2+}$). As a result, three phages exhibited a wide range of survival rates under various environments. Phage infectivity was directly correlated with bacterial growth under the applied conditions. One exception was Felix O1 that did not kill Salmonella grown in low pH (4.5). The failure was attributed to defective adsorption of Felix O1. This finding is significant as it provides an explanation for the inefficient phage biocontrol. Therefore, such information is crucial to improve phage biocontrol of pathogens.

Horton 침투 모형의 매개변수 결정 사례 (Case Study on the Determination of the Parameters in the Horton's Infiltration Model)

  • The parameters in the Horton's model which has well known as typical infiltration model were determined by the use of the optimization technique. It was assumed the initial infiltration capacity in this model was related to the antecedent precipitation per 10 days with linear combination. And both the parameters of the ultimate infiltration capacity and the decay factor were determined uniquely on a basin. Thus the optimal model's parameters representative to a basin were obtained and the Horton's infiltration equations by rainstorm events were determined. The data of ten rainstorm events for this study were observed at the Jeonjeokbigyo station located at the Selmacheon experimental basin that was $8.5\;km^2$ wide in the Imjin river.

한국 도시근교 목조주택 평면구성 특성의 유형학적 연구 (The Typological Study on the Floor plan of Wooden House in the suburbs of Korean Cities)

  • This studies is the typological study to classify the characteristics of Floor plan in wooden house that is built in the suburb of Korea through case studies. For this type classification, I took several criteria as follows: number of floors, location of entrance, approach way to inner room, location of step, arrangement way of public space and private space, those are considered as important elements for the determination of Floor plan. Ive got 10 representative types by analysing and synthesizing the relationship between these elements. I expect that these study results would be good materials for the developing new model of wooden houses that is more proper to our life.

공공부문 다기관 통합전산센터 모형에 관한 연구 (A Study on Models of Data Consolidation Center for Multi-Organization in Public Sector)

  • We establish an efficient strategy for construction and operation of data consolidation center for multi-organization in public sector. First, we introduce important concepts on data consolidation center in public sector, and draw some success factors by analyzing several foreign and domestic cases. Second, we construct all the possible logical operational models of the center and investigate the properties and feasibility of the models. Third, we suggest a virtual operational environment for the two representative models selected by feasibility criteria among the possible logical models, and compare the two models in terms of operational cost. We also utilize AHP methodology to evaluate qualitative opinions on the two models from several experts in public information systems. As a result, we find the best alternative is the case in which all infrastructure and facilities for the center are provided by government, and common essential IT operations are integrated, associated data are consolidated and the whole operational work are outsourced to specialized IT operations service providers.

Mature Teratoma in the Cerebellar Hemisphere of an Adult

  • Intracranial teratomas are diagnosed mostly in young population and usually involve midline structure. We report a case of mature teratoma in an adult patient with unusual location in cerebellar hemisphere. A 47-year-old woman presented with severe headache and nausea. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a posterior fossa lesion with cerebellar hemispheric location not involving midline. Histological examination of surgical specimen showed fully matured representative tissues of the three germ layers confirming teratoma. This is a rare example of mature teratoma with unusual age of the patient and location.

Multiple Spinal Revision Surgery in a Patient with Parkinson's Disease

  • Parkinson's disease (PD) patients frequently have several spinal deformities leading to postural instabilities including camptocormia, myopathy-induced postural deformity, Pisa syndrome, and progressive degeneration, all of which adversely affect daily life activities. To improve these postural deformities and relieve the related neurologic symptoms, patients often undergo spinal instrumentation surgery. Due to progressive degenerative changes related to PD itself and other complicating factors, patients and surgeons are faced with instrument failure-related complications, which can ultimately result in multiple revision surgeries yielding various postoperative complications and morbidities. Here, we report a representative case of a 70-year-old PD patient with flat back syndrome who had undergone several revision surgeries, including anterior and posterior decompression and fusion for a lumbosacral spinal deformity. The patient ultimately benefitted from a relatively short segment fixation and corrective fusion surgery.

목적 지향 콘콜릭 테스팅 (Goal-oriented Concolic Testing)

  • 콘콜릭 테스트는 높은 테스트 커버리지를 달성하기 위해 실제 프로그램 수행과 심볼릭 수행을 결합하여 테스트 데이터를 생성한다. CREST는 콘콜릭 테스팅을 구현한 대표적인 open-source인 테스트 도구이다. 그러나 현재 CREST는 기본적으로 프로그램의 모든 가능한 실행 경로들을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 때문에 특정 분기 또는 블록만을 테스트하는 경우에는 비효율적일 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 프로그램 상의 한 분기 또는 블록을 주고 이률 실행할 수 있는 테스트 데이터를 생성하는 목적 지향 콘콜릭 테스트 방법을 제안한다.
