인체 기본 부위의 결정 (Determining Control Body Dimensions)

  • Human body structure can be considered as a complex of many elements such as head, chest, arm, leg and etc. As the correct classification of human body is basic for the design of all the materials used by mankind and since we cannot consider all the elements simultaneously, there is a need of extracting a Sew elements which can be "most" representative of all those elements. This paper describes the procedure of determining those representative body dimensions utilizing the data obtained from a national project carried out in 1976. Also the relationship of the above determined body dimensions to the other commonly reference body dimensions are given in linear forms.ear forms.

A Representative Stress for Unified Fatigue Damage Model

  • The hot spot stress approach and the notch strain approach are discussed with some results of them. And a stress model that can be applicable to several types of weld joints with single S-N curve of the base material. The stress model uses the geometric characteristics of the stress distribution vicinity of weld joints. The model was applied to five different weld joins(the base material is SM490B). By the representative stress, the experimental fatigue data are plotted very closely to the S-N curve of the base material.

Overview of the Applications of Hydroacoustic Methods in South Korea and Fish Abundance Estimation Methods

  • I provide an overview of the application of hydroacoustic methods in South Korea to understand the current research status in relation to fisheries acoustics and to determine which areas require further study. One main purpose for using a scientific echosounder, a representative tool using the hydroacoustic method, is to evaluate the abundance of fisheries resources. Thus, two representative methods for abundance estimation are described. The history of fisheries acoustics worldwide is also summarized.

  • This paper introduces attempts to obtain the'representative'characteristics of the apparent mass and mechanical impedance of seated Korean subjects under vertical vibration. Individual responses of the apparent mass and driving-point mechanical impedance obtained from forty-one Korean subjects are illustrated. Four kinds of vibration levels and three different sitting postures are selected to collect the responses of each subject. Those individual responses are used to estimate the 'mean' mechanical impedance, which may be expected to be a representative model to Korean subjects. Several interesting features of the estimated mechanical impedance are suggested and compared to those of ISO 5982.

충남대표도서관 운영 기본계획 수립을 위한 이용자 인식조사 연구 (Study on Users' Perception for Establishment of Chungnam Representative Library's Basic Plan)

  • 본 연구에서는 충남대표도서관 운영 기본계획을 수립하여 충남대표도서관의 기능과 역할 정립 및 운영방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 충청남도 내의 공공도서관 이용자 및 도청 방문자를 대상으로 인식조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 충남대표도서관의 역할의 경우, 시 도 단위의 종합적인 도서관자료의 수집 정리 보존 및 제공이 25.65%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 충남대표도서관의 장서 운영 방향으로 선호하는 정보원 유형은 인쇄자료가 평균 3.96로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 주제별로는 문학이 평균 4.27로 가장 높게 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 충남대표도서관에 바라는 서비스로는 다양한 분야의 좋은 책과 지식정보를 제공하는 도서관이 27.79%로 가장 높게 나타났다.

하천의 경관 유지 수량의 결정 (Determination of the Minimum Instream Flows for the Landscape of Riverside)

  • The physical components of a river, such as water surface width/river width ratio, water level, and flow velocity vary according to different flowrates. Moreover, the riverside landscapes are greatly affected by the change of physical components of the stream or river. This paper provides an analysis of the influence of changing physical components of a river on the riverside landscape using a survey-based quantification method. The questionnaire was developed based on current literature, and was submitted to 326 people who each visited a representative station along the riverside.This survey was implemented three times at each representative station during periods of different flowrates. The results of this analysis and survey have Produced an understanding of the relationship between the variation of physical components and riverside landscapes. Survey results about the flow comparison are summarized as follows. Viewing riverside landscapes, most respondents are sensitive to the change of the flow velocity and prefer high water levels to low water levels. As a whole, respondents prefer abundant stream flows and moderate flow velocity in which they can perceive the flow of water. The minimum instream flows for riverside landscapes is estimated at each representative station by using a survey-based quantification method, and the estimated results of some representative stations were greater than the mean monthly flow at each station. The result of this analysis shows that establishing minimum instream flows for riverside landscapes is not only a technical problem, but also a legal problem. Therefore, in the to establish the instream flows in a river, the estimated results have to be considered as a relative standard. Regarding the survey results, respondents' satisfaction level didn't show any clear inclination according to the variation of various hydraulic properties. In determining the minimum instream flow using such an inquiry method, the structure of riverside scenery may vary according to the change of seasons or months. Therefore, to determine a consistent general inclination about the flow rate, it is necessary to have more detailed flow rates for each season or month combined with more inquiries.

대표구간의 음악 특징에 기반한 음악 장르 분류 (Music Genre Classification based on Musical Features of Representative Segments)

  • 일부 음악 장르 분류에 관한 기존 연구에서는 특징 추출을 위한 구간 선택 시 사람이 직접 곡의 주요 구간을 지정하는 방법을 사용하였다. 이러한 방법은 분류 성능이 좋은 반면 수작업으로 인한 부담으로 새롭게 등록되는 음악들에 대해 지속적으로 적용하기가 곤란하다. 수작업 없이 음악 특징을 추출하기 위해 최근 음악 장르 분류와 관련된 연구에서는 자동으로 추출구간을 선정하는 방법을 사용하고 있지만 이러한 연구의 대부분이 고정된 구간 (예, 30초 이후의 30초 구간)에서 특징을 추출하는 관계로 분류의 정확도가 떨어지는 문제점을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 곡 전체 구간에 대하여 반복구간들을 파악하고 이들의 위치와 에너지를 고려하여 곡을 대표할 수 있는 단일 대표구간을 선정한 후, 대표구간으로 부터 특징을 추출하여 장르 분류시스템에 적용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 실험 결과, 기존 고정구간을 사용한 방법에 비해 괄목할 만한 성능 향상을 얻을 수 있었다.
