In this paper, attempts have been made to extract elemental knowledges from contours of industrial mechanical elemental parts for efficient boundary representation ( chain coding) of their contours. These elemental knowledges could be used to know-ledge representation for representing boundaries of various industrial mechanical parts. Analysis is focused on elemental knowledges of line and circle boundaries, which compose basic elements of the contours of industrial mechanical parts.

The first design elements of horizontal alignment are very important things for improvement or movement in Railway. When the design elements are lost or damaged, it is necessary to recalculation. In this paper, an investigation is made on the method of representation of horizontal alignment as a result of design element using GPS method. The results show that northing calculated about $2\~10$ meters and easting calculated about $0\~7$ meters between calculated and design data in center points.

In many areas of finite element analysis, elements with special properties are required to achieve maximal accuracy. As examples, we may mention infinite elements for the representation of spatial domain that extend to special and singular elements for modeling point and line singularities engendered by geomeric features such as reentrant corners and cracks. In this paper, we study on modified shape function representing singular properties and algorigthm for the pollution adaptive mesh generation. We will also show that the modified shape function reduces pollution error and local error.

This article describes the technology for constructing of a multiply-connected three-dimensional area's finite element representation. Representation of finite-element configuration of an area is described by a discrete set that consist of the number of nodes and elements of the finite-element grid, that are orderly set of nodes' coordinates and numbers of finite elements. Corresponding theorems are given, to prove the correctness of the solution method. The adequacy of multiply-connected area topology's finite element model is shown. The merging of subareas is based on the criterion of boundary nodes' coincidence by establishing a simple hierarchy of volumes, surfaces, lines and points. Renumbering nodes is carried out by the frontal method, where nodes located on the outer edges of the structure are used as the initial front.

This study action drama TV drama 'Ya-ha'(夜叉) the actual work practices of the pre-consultation stage through the Writers, Producer, Art directors and in consultation with the opinion of the character set the record of the contents and character changes over time in accordance with characters makeup the design elements were analyzed. The methods of study was used local and abroad related books, studies, publications and cases and the subjects were limited to be four male make up characters in drama 'Ya-cha'. As a result, TV action drama 'Ya-cha' make up design elements and representation techniques were classified as description of skin tone, wound, the shape of eyebrows, hair type, shape of beard and materials and carried out an important role in the character representation. First, presentation techniques changed skin tones depending on character and position and described wound shape as expression technique and materials were analyzed. Second, the shape of eyebrows was based on the physiognomy of the form. And hair type changed volume, thickness, length and texture depending on character. Third, shape of beard is expressed different kinds of volume, thickness, length and texture depending on character. There fore, that systematization of the make-up design elements is useful to express stable characters and make drama for make up in various image genres.

Cross-Media Storytelling(CMS) is the new method of media representation. It picks the features and the elements in one media, and uses them in another media. 'Remediation' in digital era uses the content of old media in new form based on new technology. But 'CMS' represents the basic elements of the media experience in each unique style of media. It changes the focus from the technology to experience. So CMS is the new strategy of the media not based on the new technology. Adam PESapane's (2006) is a example for this strategy. It takes the game media as a subject matter. But it expresses the meta-representation of game experience in the "stop motion animation" Especially it emphasizes the narrative chain between the usual phenomenon and the visual imagination. And it shows the possibility of representation of new media experience in the old media genre. So it suggests the conditions of CMS.

Gender Representation of animation character that is discussed in this essay is a semantic discourse that is related to communication with contemporary audience. For gender Representation of animation character, as it can be thought that linguistic elements for signification with audience are materialized, it has a significant value when it comes to communication with audience. Commercial success of Disney's feature length animation Frozen is from excellent aesthetic principles and techniques and global marketing capabilities of Disney studio. However, independent and active gender representation of Elsa and Anna in Frozen are more important commercial successful elements. Especially, Gender representation of these two characters reflects myth of women who live in this modern society so their linguistic meaning can appear affluently. That also means that those two characters have advantages, in terms of communication, that can have effective signification with contemporary audience as linguistic sign. And those advantages are signification foundation that Frozen can be commercially successful by communicating with audience all around the world.

The purpose of this study is to illuminate the relations between Pop Art and pop music, which formed a serious coupling loop in an identical cultural background. Also this study intends to set up a position of visualized sexual identity as it Points out the conceptional characteristics of glam, a subculture outside mainstream, which includes the matters of sexual minorities such as homosexuality and bisexuality under the influence of the aesthetic and philosophical composition by Andy Warhol. In conjunction herewith, we explore the visual representation of glam style focusing on the influence of Warhol. The classification and explanation about the visual representation of glam style under the influence of Warhol are practised by distinguishing as denotative representation and connotative representation. For the denotative representation shown in the glum style, first, the discordant images were put together by bricolage, then adapted into the new dramatic symbol of youth. Second, through a visually androgynous style a subversion of sex for symbols of sexuality and gender was represented. Third, the factitiveness as a weird display and fallacy is shown from boisterous make-up and unisex sかling in theatricality and put-ons, featuring artificiality, assemblage and unnaturality. And the connaotative representation shown in glum inglam style, first, glam style implies its experimental nature which attempts to break down boundaries between masculinity and femininity, homosexuality and heterosex-uality. Second, the bricolage in sequin and other discordant elements have connotative meanings as sensuality and excessiveness. Third, mixing various style as sexual play shows ironic visual images, in accordance with Superior Theory and Discord Theory.
