산업용 기계요소 부품의 경계표현을 위한 지식표현에 관한 연구 (A study on the knowledge representation of industrial mechanical elemental parts for boundary representation)

  • In this paper, attempts have been made to extract elemental knowledges from contours of industrial mechanical elemental parts for efficient boundary representation ( chain coding) of their contours. These elemental knowledges could be used to know-ledge representation for representing boundaries of various industrial mechanical parts. Analysis is focused on elemental knowledges of line and circle boundaries, which compose basic elements of the contours of industrial mechanical parts.

  • The first design elements of horizontal alignment are very important things for improvement or movement in Railway. When the design elements are lost or damaged, it is necessary to recalculation. In this paper, an investigation is made on the method of representation of horizontal alignment as a result of design element using GPS method. The results show that northing calculated about $2\~10$ meters and easting calculated about $0\~7$ meters between calculated and design data in center points.

  • In many areas of finite element analysis, elements with special properties are required to achieve maximal accuracy. As examples, we may mention infinite elements for the representation of spatial domain that extend to special and singular elements for modeling point and line singularities engendered by geomeric features such as reentrant corners and cracks. In this paper, we study on modified shape function representing singular properties and algorigthm for the pollution adaptive mesh generation. We will also show that the modified shape function reduces pollution error and local error.

  • This article describes the technology for constructing of a multiply-connected three-dimensional area's finite element representation. Representation of finite-element configuration of an area is described by a discrete set that consist of the number of nodes and elements of the finite-element grid, that are orderly set of nodes' coordinates and numbers of finite elements. Corresponding theorems are given, to prove the correctness of the solution method. The adequacy of multiply-connected area topology's finite element model is shown. The merging of subareas is based on the criterion of boundary nodes' coincidence by establishing a simple hierarchy of volumes, surfaces, lines and points. Renumbering nodes is carried out by the frontal method, where nodes located on the outer edges of the structure are used as the initial front.

A Study on Character analysis and make up design in TV action drama 'ya-cha(夜叉)'

  • This study action drama TV drama 'Ya-ha'(夜叉) the actual work practices of the pre-consultation stage through the Writers, Producer, Art directors and in consultation with the opinion of the character set the record of the contents and character changes over time in accordance with characters makeup the design elements were analyzed. The methods of study was used local and abroad related books, studies, publications and cases and the subjects were limited to be four male make up characters in drama 'Ya-cha'. As a result, TV action drama 'Ya-cha' make up design elements and representation techniques were classified as description of skin tone, wound, the shape of eyebrows, hair type, shape of beard and materials and carried out an important role in the character representation. First, presentation techniques changed skin tones depending on character and position and described wound shape as expression technique and materials were analyzed. Second, the shape of eyebrows was based on the physiognomy of the form. And hair type changed volume, thickness, length and texture depending on character. Third, shape of beard is expressed different kinds of volume, thickness, length and texture depending on character. There fore, that systematization of the make-up design elements is useful to express stable characters and make drama for make up in various image genres.

  • '크로스 미디어 스토리텔링(이하 CMS)'은 미디어적 재현의 새로운 형식으로서, 하나의 매체가 지닌 속성을 다른 매체 속에서 해당 매체의 계기를 이용해 재현한다. 디지털 시대의 '재매개'가 기존 미디어 콘텐츠의 새로운 기술에 기반한 재전유라 한다면, CMS는 각 매체가 지니는 고유한 형식 속에서 다른 장르 경험의 계기들을 사용한다. 기술의 가능성에서 경험의 가능성으로 재현의 초점을 전환한다. 그런 의미에서 CMS는 기술에 의해 일방적으로 주도되지 않는, 매체 생태계 속에서 발아된 생존 전략이다. 그 사례로서 뉴 미디어의 대표 장르로 각광받는 게임을 소재화하여, 올드 미디어인 스톱모션 애니메이션을 통해 메타적으로 재현한 아담 페사파네(Adam PESapane)의 <게임오버>(2006)를 살펴보고자 한다. 이 작품은 일상적 관찰력과 시각적 상상력을 통해 게임의 서사적 연쇄를 부각시킴으로써 올드 미디어의 형식과 뉴 미디어의 내용을 결합하여 CMS의 조건을 경험적으로 제시하고 있다.

  • 본 논문에서 논의하고 있는 애니메이션의 젠더담론은 동시대 관객과의 원활한 소통과 관련된 의미론적 치원이라고 할 수 있다. 애니메이션 캐릭터의 젠더 문제는 관객과의 의미작용을 위한 언어적 요소가 구체화된 것이라고 할 수 있기 때문에 관객과의 소통 차원에서 상당히 중요한 가치를 지니고 있다고 할 수 있다. 디즈니의 장편 애니메이션 <겨울왕국>의 상업적 성공은 먼저 작품이 보여주는 우수한 미학적 기법과 원리, 그리고 디즈니 스튜디오의 글로벌 마케팅 역량에서 그 요인을 찾아볼 수 있으나, 무엇보다 기존 디즈니 애니메이션에서 볼 수 없었던 여성 캐릭터의 젠더 표상에서 그 가치를 논의해 볼 수 있다. <겨울왕국>의 주요 여성 캐릭터 엘사와 안나의 젠더 표상은 동시대 관객들이 공감하고 몰입할 수 있는 시대정신과 이데올로기를 잘 반영함으로써 문화와 언어의 장벽을 뛰어넘는 보편적인 의미체계를 구축하고 있다. 그러므로 애니메이션에서 보이는 캐릭터의 젠더 담론에 관한 고찰은 소통적 관점에서 작품을 풍요롭게 읽어내는 기초적인 연구라고 할 수 있다.

Visual Representation in Glam Style under the Influence of Andy Warhol

  • The purpose of this study is to illuminate the relations between Pop Art and pop music, which formed a serious coupling loop in an identical cultural background. Also this study intends to set up a position of visualized sexual identity as it Points out the conceptional characteristics of glam, a subculture outside mainstream, which includes the matters of sexual minorities such as homosexuality and bisexuality under the influence of the aesthetic and philosophical composition by Andy Warhol. In conjunction herewith, we explore the visual representation of glam style focusing on the influence of Warhol. The classification and explanation about the visual representation of glam style under the influence of Warhol are practised by distinguishing as denotative representation and connotative representation. For the denotative representation shown in the glum style, first, the discordant images were put together by bricolage, then adapted into the new dramatic symbol of youth. Second, through a visually androgynous style a subversion of sex for symbols of sexuality and gender was represented. Third, the factitiveness as a weird display and fallacy is shown from boisterous make-up and unisex sかling in theatricality and put-ons, featuring artificiality, assemblage and unnaturality. And the connaotative representation shown in glum inglam style, first, glam style implies its experimental nature which attempts to break down boundaries between masculinity and femininity, homosexuality and heterosex-uality. Second, the bricolage in sequin and other discordant elements have connotative meanings as sensuality and excessiveness. Third, mixing various style as sexual play shows ironic visual images, in accordance with Superior Theory and Discord Theory.
