교체-수리보증이 종료된 이후의 예방보전정책 (Preventive maintenance policy following the expiration of replacement-repair warranty)

  • In this paper, we consider the periodic preventive maintenance model for a repairable system following the expiration of replacement-repair warranty. Under this preventive maintenance model, we derive the expressions for the expected cycle length, the expected total cost and the expected cost rate per unit time. Also, we determine the optimal preventive maintenance period and the optimal preventive maintenance number by minimizing the expected cost rate per unit time. Finally, the optimal periodic preventive maintenance policy is given for Weibull distribution case.

  • This paper presents a corrective maintenance model to determine either type of maintenance actions upon failure of the system. Types of maintenance actions considered are minimal repair and replacement. Minimal repair cost is assumed to be random, whereas replacement cost is fixed. A policy, B(t), which determines the type of maintenance action based on the estimated minimal repair cost when the system fails at time t is adopted. To obtain an optimal policy, an expected maintenance cost per unit time is derived and is minimized with respect to B(t).

  • A replacement policy for a system subject to shocks where each shock increases the running cost is considered. The shocks arrive to the system according to a nonhomogeneous Poisson process. Optimal replacement policy to minimize the long-run expected cost rate is obtained and some numerical examples are given.

  • This paper presents a spare ordering policy for preventive replacement with minimal repair. To analyze the ordering policy, the failure process is modeled by a non-homogeneous Poisson process. Introducing the ordering, repair, downtime, replacement costs and salvage value, we derive the expected cost effectiveness as a criterion of optimality when the lifetime and lead times for the regular and expedited orders are generally distributed random variables. It is shown that, under certain conditions, there exists a finite and unique optimum ordering time which maximizes the expected cost effectiveness. A numerical example is also included to explain the proposed model.

  • A block replacement policy using items with different reliability is discussed. We devide system unit failure modes into two modes and use less reliable unit when operating unit fails near the planned preventive replacement time. In this policy, item A has two failure modes. Mode-1 failure is removed by minimal repair, mode-2 failure by replacement. If mode-2 failure of item A happens in (0,T- $\delta$). failure item A is replaced by new item A. If mode-2 failure of item A happens in(T-$\delta$,T), failure item A is replaced by new item B. Item B should be cheaper and less durable than item A. Under this policy, we determine the preventive replacement interval T and the interval $\delta$ of item B replacement which minimize the cost rate per unit time.

  • Under the two-phase warranty, the warranty period is divided into two intervals, one of which is for renewing replacement warranty, and the other is for minimal repair warranty. Jung[13] discusses the two types of extended two-phase warranty models. In this paper, we suggest the replacement model after the extended two-phase warranty that has been proposed by Jung[13]. To determine the optimal replacement policy, we adopt the expected cost rate per unit time. So, the expressions for the total expected cost, the expected length of the cycle and the expected cost rate per unit time from the user's point of view are derived. Also, we discuss the optimal replacement policy and the uniqueness of the solution for the optimization. Furthermore, the numerical examples are provided to illustrate the proposed the replacement model.

  • This paper considers the maintenance model suggested by Jung and Park (2010) to adopt the Bayesian approach and obtain an optimal replacement policy following the expiration of NFRRW. As the criteria to determine the optimal maintenance period, we use the expected cost during the life cycle of the system. When the failure times are assumed to follow a Weibull distribution with unknown parameters, we propose an optimal maintenance policy based on the Bayesian approach. Also, we describe the revision of uncertainty about parameters in the light of data observed. Some numerical examples are presented for illustrative purpose.

  • This paper presents a model for determining the optimal number of minimal repairs before replacement. The basic concept parallels the periodic replacement model with minimal repair at failure introduced by Barlow and Hunter, only difference being the replacement signalled by the number of previous minimal repairs performed on the unit. In the case of Weibull distribution, which is widely used as a general failure distribution, the optimal solution could be obtained numerically and seems more cost effective compared to the Barlow and Hunter's Policy II.

  • 본 논문에서는 스트리밍 미디어 캐슁 서버의 효율적인 캐슁을 위하여 가중치 윈도우에 기반한 캐쉬 교체 정책을 제시하고 성능을 분석한다. 제안된 캐쉬 교체 정책은 참조 횟수, 참조량, 참조 시간 등의 정량적인 인자들과 사용자 요구 주기를 적용하여 기존 캐쉬 교체 정책과 차등화된 개념을 도입하였으며, 최근 참조 경향에 높은 가중치를 부여함으로써 변화하는 콘텐츠 선호 경향에 빠르게 적응하는 구조를 제시하였다. 교체 정책 성능 분석은 시뮬레이션 환경 구축을 통해 실험하였으며 기존의 캐쉬 교체 정책인 LRU, LFU와 SEG보다 참조 적중률, 참조량 적중률, 시작 지연률과 반입량에서 향상된 결과를 보였다.

  • 콘텐츠 중심 네트워크(CCN)은 기존 위치(IP) 기반의 네트워크 방식을 콘텐츠 이름(Content Name) 중심의 네트워크 구조로 변모시킴으로써 네트워크 전반의 효율성을 높이고자 하는 시도이다. CCN에서는 네트워크 효율을 높이기 위해 라우터 저장공간을 활용한 캐싱을 수행하는데, 캐시 교체정책은 CCN의 전반적인 성능을 좌우하는 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 CCN 분야에서는 캐시 교체정책과 관련된 많은 선행 연구가 있었다. 본 논문에서는 CCN 기본 캐시 교체정책인 LFU를 개선한 실시간 생성자 인기도 기반의 캐시 교체정책을 제안하였다. 또한, 실험을 통해 제안한 캐시 교체정책이 대조군보다 우수함을 입증하였다.
