The waste glasses among plenty of wastes put out lately is limited in recycling and reusing, and the phenomenon hasn't been improved quite much. And besides, the recycling rate shows the 70.1%, relatively low. These waste glasses is currently used for road pavement materials, interior and exterior decorating materials in architecture, road painting meterials, auxiliary lagging materials for heat-retaining, coldness-retaining and soundproofing, and glass bottles. 30% of waste glasses powder is, however, not reused pratically. Therefore, in this research, we operated some tests including flow of mortar mixed with waste glasses powder, setting time, rheology and compressive strength to utilize waste glasses powder put out in the precess of recycling for admixture for repair mortar. As a result, we've found out that we can utilize waste glasses powder for admixture for repair mortar.

In this paper, we consider a random replacement model with minimal repair, which is a generalization of the random replacement model introduced Lee and Lee(1994). It is assumed that a system is minimally repaired when it fails and replaced only when the accumulated operating time of the system exceeds a threshold time by a supervisor who arrives at the system for inspection according to Poisson process. Assigning the corresponding cost to the system, we obtain the expected long-run average cost per unit time and find the optimum values of the threshold time and the supervisor's inspection rate which minimize the average cost.
The 1st stage bucket of the 170MW simple cycle gas turbine is one of the components that is normally run in exposed state at the highest thermally stressful environment while the turbine is operating. After certain period operation, various type of damages are easily found and the damages are identified as due to the turbine operating mode of which the demand of the electricity power is very peaking and cyclic. Since this trend is more evident at some part of power plants in Korea and it has caused higher scrap rate of the bucket at the first repair interval than other country. Therefore, demand for the higher capability and alternative technologies which allow salvaging more buckets and preventing from severe damages is always high. In this study, a review and estimation of the repair technologies for the past 5 years to present have been conducted and show results.

This paper presents an EMQ model which determines an economic manufacturing quantity in an unreliable machine. It is assumed that life time of a machine is generally distributed and it requires an instantaneous repair time when a machine fails. Depending on various types of failure rate function of a machine, it is discussed how to determine an EMQ and prove its uniqueness. Variations of an EMQ depending on repair cost are also examined. Through numerical experiments, extensive investigations are carried out on the effects of repair cost and setup cost to an EMQ as well as average cost, and some interesting behaviors are observed.

In this paper, we consider a new preventive replacement policy for the system which deteriorates while it is in operation with an increasing failure rate. The system is subject to two types of failure. A type 1 failure is repairable while a type 2 failure is not repairable. In the new policy, a system is replaced at the age of $t_p$ or at the instant the$\textsc{k}^{th}$ type 1 failure occurs, whichever comes first. However, if a type 2 failure occurs before a preventive replacement is performed, a failure replacement should be made. We assume that a type 1 failure can be rectified with a minimal repair. We also assume that a replacement takes a non-negligible amount of time while a minimal repair takes a negligible amount of time. Under a cost structure which includes a preventive replacement cost, a failure replacement cost and a minimal repair cost, we develop a model to find the optimal ($\textsc{k},t_p$) policy which minimizes the expected cost per unit time in the long run while satisfying a system availability constraint.
Recently, an extended warranty of a system following the expiration of the basic warranty is becoming increasingly popular to the user. In this respect, we suggest a replacement model following the expiration of extended warranty with minimal repair warranty from the user's point of view in this paper. Under extended warranty, the failed system is minimally repaired by the manufacturer at no cost to the user during the original extended warranty period. As a criterion of the optimality, we utilize the expected cost rate per unit time during the life cycle from the user's perspective and suggest the optimal replacement period after extended warranty. Finally, a few numerical examples are given for illustrative purpose.
With the growth of memory capacity and density, memory testing and repair with the goal of yield improvement have become more important. Therefore, the development of high efficiency redundancy analysis algorithms is essential to improve yield rate. In this letter, we propose an improved built-in redundancy analysis (BIRA) algorithm with a minimized binary search tree made by simple calculations. The tree is constructed until finding a solution from the most probable branch. This greatly reduces the search spaces for a solution. The proposed BIRA algorithm results in 100% repair efficiency and fast redundancy analysis.
In this paper, replacement problems for a deteriorating system are considered. In the system under consideration, the successive lifetimes after repair become shorter and shorter, while the consecutive repair times become longer and longer. More specifically, the lifetimes of the system form a nonhomogeneous Poisson process, whereas the consecutive repair times constitute a stochastically increasing geometric process. Optimal replacement policies for the long-run average cost rate and the steady state availability are considered. Also taking the cost and the availability into consideration at the same time, the properties of optimal policies under the Cost Priority Policy and the Availability Priority Policy are obtained.

This paper presents the simulation model to decide the mean size of cannibalization aircraft (MSCA) under steady state when an airbase makes use of cannibalization to support the spare parts of an airfleet. In this model, the essential factors such as mission requirements, mission time, failure time, repair time, repair capability, inventory policy, cannivalization rule are considered. The model is constructed with above factors and actual airbase operating rules for a basis. Because of the tangled interdependencies among the each factors, it is inevitable to construct the model by the simulation technique. The mission and support system of the airbase is considered as a closed queueing network with a finite number of unit The troubled aircrafts are repaired in accordance with the priorities that are determined by their repair times. The illustrative example of the model, using the actual data of xx-airbase, is presented. The model would be a useful tool not only to determine the MSCA and the size of scheduled maintenance aircraft but to evaluate the NORS (not operationally ready supply) rate and the availability of an airfleet.

The Reinforced concrete structure is deteriorated in durability due to various deterioration factors such as acid, salt, etc., and thus requires repair and reinforcement. In this study, compressive strength and weight change were measured by substituting blast furnace slag with excellent chemical resistance. As a result, the decrease in compressive strength decreased in proportion to the blast furnace slag substitution rate, and in the case of BFS40, the strength increased after sulfuric acid immersion. The weight change also decreased in proportion to the replacement amount.
