  • The remote monitoring system of this paper is a program for monitoring the temperature, voltage, and solar irradiance that made from photovoltaic(PV) system in remote area. And this monitoring system helps to check the efficiency and situation of PV system. The main subject of this paper is about making the more useful monitoring program to get and save the data from PV system. This program is monitoring the PV system by using the LabVIEW program.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented the DCS(Distributed Control System) terminal remote monitoring board for build total unified management system based wireless communication on automatic control system fields. Also, it tested and evaluated for check an usability and performance. The board monitored relay and fuse status at power management room real-time. Therefore, we expected economic effects extend relay life-time that pre-detected errors and prevented relay fault.

  • Polishing work of a free-curved surface die demands simple and repetitive operations but requires a considerable amount of time for high precision. In out previous study, to reduce the polishing time and solve the problem of the shortage of skilled workers, the automatic polishing system was developed. However, in the polishing process of die, workers have to stay still in factory to monitor the polishing process for a long time in the poor environment. Therefore, this study proposes the remote operation and monitoring system of the automatic polishing robot. The developing system offer worker monitoring functions and teleoperating functions, as following: system state check, manual manipulation mode, automatic mode, manual teaching mode, automatic teaching mode, simulation by virtual manufacturing device. And automatic teaching system is developed to easily obtain a teaching data.

  • In this paper, a strip modeling method is developed for the acquisition of target positions in remote area and validated using the imagery of SPOT satellite. This method utilizes the parameters given in header files and constructs a camera model without ground control points. In most cases, the root mean squared error of check points is less than pixel size with one ground control point. The model error of reference image is evaluated using ground control points and used to remove the model error of target images acquired along the same satellite orbit, which enables one to calculate target positions in remote area where no ground control points are available.

  • In this paper, a wireless remote monitoring system for leakage current of distribution board is developed. In the developed system, signals of the leakage current of distribution board are transmitted to a monitoring system using wireless communication. The developed system is consisted of a comparative module, control module, a wireless communication module, and hand held terminal. The developed system has any facilities which can check a leakage current with real time, send to the user this fact using a wireless remote interface method. And also developed system can take precaution for an accident by leakage current.

  • Biotop map can be utilized in the urban area for nature conservation and impact assessment for the proposed activities. High resolution satellite data such as IKONOS and KOMPSAT1-EOS were used to classify land use activities in biotop mapping. After land use classification, field -check was done to survey the wildlife and vegetation. These maps were combined and the boundaries were delineated to produce the biotop map. Within the boundary the characteristics of each polygon were identified, and named. This study was carried out at Daedok Science Town in Taejeon Metropolitan Area. The purpose of this study is to produce the biotop map using high resolution remote sensing data together with other ground data.

  • This paper is an intelligence type of remote medical examination system for both on-line and off-line mode to transcend time and space on web where anyone can participate ;on-line consultation among patient, doctor, Korean medical doctor, medical examination in off-line mode, transmission of prescription to the pharmacist designated by patient and preparation of medicine, and semi-eternal storage of medical examination data by storage and check of medical examination data ; and database is composed by using intelligence type of object control which enables effect of treatment for heredity including check and mutual holding of medical examination data among family, fast treatment effect pursuant to situation of past medical examination through control of private disease history, cooperated medical examination among doctors, and so on.

  • A real-time measurement and control system was developed, This system is used for nurses at hospitals to check the residual quantity and changing time of Ringer's solution in nurses' room. Load Cell is utilized as a sensor to check the residual quantity of Ringer's solution, This Load Cell detects the physical changes of Ringer's solution and transfers electronic signal to the amplifier. Amplified analog signal is converted into digital signal by NO converter. Developed Embedded system, which computes these data with microprocess(8052) then makes it possible to monitor the residual quantity of Ringer's solution real-time on a server computer.   • A u-healthcare remote diagnosis system is proposed for chronic disease and medical vulnerable groups check the health systematically and support for the most optimal environment to improve the quality of life. The u-healthcare remote diagnosis system using wireless measure the thoracic sound in the chest. And this is demonstrated that the system using radio frequency is not be affected by the electromagnetic wave with the use of an experiment and by confirming that this u-healthcare remote diagnosis system can not affect the doctors and the patients.
