  • This paper aims at developing remote control system to control and monitor distributed various devices t through Internet or information communication network.   • This paper describes technical method about remote control and monitoring of local system by use personal mobile device in anytime and anywhere. Therefore, the user don't need to stay in operation room of local system. The PC server environment for the mobile connection are constructed with Apache web server, PHP and MySQL ODBC. The mobile internet homepage for the remote mobile connection is designed by Anybuilder software and mobile simulator, Openwave SDK 6.2 is used for the development. The mobile internet program can be applicate to all of domestic communication companies LGT, SKT and KTF. We use KTF mobile contains WAP browser for the test. We used NI Labview software to control and monitoring of local system. The local system, which will be controlled remotely have constructed with analog/digital signal acquisition device, signal control board and their software. By experiments, we confirmed remote control by mobile device are possible.

  • Recently, IoT (Internet of Things) has been applied to various fields, not limited to places, through continuous research. However, the existing IoT system is based on the surrounding environment rather than the user-oriented operation of the device. therefore, there is a problem in that the efficiency and accuracy of the work are low. In this paper, we propose a user remote control analysis algorithm to solve these problems. When the user performs the remote control, the command is collected and the data is sorted according to the device and time. Analyze time-dependent behavior of devices based on sorted data. based on the results of the analysis, the environment is controlled by operating the device inside the home. Therefore, it is expected that the accuracy and convenience of device operation will be increased by providing customized service to users.

  • Remote control for consumer electronics products that nowadays are divided by the state only performs each function. In any case, there is also the case that the number of losing too many messes Where remote control. In this paper, the reason and remote control using infrared remote control transmission, will be able to see the modulation method of the received remote control method. The experiment will be able to see that by looking at the LCD to ATmega128 control home appliances (TV, air conditioning, etc.). As a result, it will be able to deal with a single remote control electronics to reduce the number of the remote control to handle all further electronics in the home.

  • This paper describes the ubiquitous home network (uHome-net) testbed and LonRF intelligent devices based on LonWorks technology. These devices consist of Neuron Chip, RF transceiver, sensor, and other peripheral components. Using LonRF devices, a home control network can be simplified and most devices can be operated on LonWorks control network. Also, Indoor Positioning System (IPS) that can serve various location based services was implemented in uHome-net. Smart Badge of IPS, that is a special LonRF device, can measure the 3D location of objects in the indoor environment. In the uHome-net testbed, remote control service, cooking help service, wireless remote metering service, baby monitoring service and security & fire prevention service were realized. This research shows the vision of the ubiquitous home network that will be emerged in the near future.

  • One of problems in industries is an installation for an automation system device such sensor, transducer, controller, and so on those are located in different areas. Such problem makes a difficulty for maintenance and installation. The aim of this research attempts to design a high performance controller with remote devices. One attractive is to group near devices in near place together to centralizes control. This paper presents network device groups distributed through digital and analog Remote Terminal Unit (RTUs). Such devices are centralized by computer or PLC control and communicated with similar protocol through serial bus. Our scheme, there are many advantages such as, saving both time and cost,convenience compared to other ways.

  • This paper describes the design of a remote control device that can control the ON/OFF state of multiple air compressors using wireless communication. The main remote controller and air compressor remote controller were designed using a microprocessor (ATmega128), and the circuit diagram was configured to wirelessly communicate using A Zigbee module between the two remote controllers. The result of the measurement of wireless communication distance between the two remote controllers was more than 1.1 km.

  • A Multi-channel serial device using the embedded Linux system is designed for a remote controlling and monitoring system. The proposed device consists of a FIFO, a state machine, and an interrupter. The device program written in embedded Linux enables the effective programming of device. While the conventional multi-channel serial devices accesses every individual serial devices, the proposed device accesses the multi-channel serial device as if it is a single serial device. The device efficiently performs the multi-channel serial input/output operation and has fast access time than the conventional multi-channel serial device.

  • The Remote Device Management (RDM) protocol is used to manage the devices in the lighting control networks. RDM provides bi-directional communications between a controller and many lighting devices over the DMX512-A network. In RDM, using a simple binary search scheme, which is based on the 48-bit unique ID (UID) of each device, discovers the lighting devices. However, the existing binary search scheme tends to require a large delay in the device discovery process. In this paper, we propose a novel partition-based discovery scheme for fast device discovery in RDM. In the proposed scheme, all devices are divided into several partitions as per the device UID, and the controller performs device discovery for each partition by configuring a response timer that each device will use. From numerical simulations, we can see that there is an optimal number of partitions to minimize the device discovery time for a given number of devices in the proposed scheme, and also that the proposed partition-based scheme can reduce the device discovery time, as compared to the existing binary search scheme.

  • This paper suggests the vehicle remote control on the basis of Smart Phone. In general, most smart phone is mounted with G-sensor to control the motion. G-sensor is able to control several directions and movements of velocity along with X, Y, and Z axis. To access remote location and data system, we can also utilize Wi-Fi communication as well as bluetooth communication. In this study, we propose the scheme that is the car management application by remote control via real-time monitoring on mobile device for user convenience.
