선박구조설계 합리화를 위한 선체 종강도의 신뢰성 해석 (Reliability Analysis of Ship′s Longitrdinal Strength for the Rational Ship Structural Design)

  • 확률적인 접근법으로서의 신뢰성 해석법의 소개와 이의 선체 구조 강도 평가 방법에의 적용에 관해 고찰하였다. 당사에서 건조한 유조선 및 살물선 34척을 대상으로 인장 항복강도, 보강판의 압축 최종강도, 그리고 선각 거어더의 최종강도 등 몇몇 대표적인 종강도 파괴양식에 대해 신뢰성 해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과로서 각 선박에 대한 신뢰도 지수를 보이고 종강도에 대한 신뢰성 해석시의 목표 신뢰도 지수를 제시하였다. 배길이와 건조연도에 따른 신뢰도 지수의 변화를 검토하였으며 결과로서 각 선박의 안전도가 큰 차이를 보임을 알 수 있었다. 각 선박에 대해 균일한 수준의 신뢰도를 제공하기 위하여 부분 안전계수를 이용한 새로운 강도 평가 기준을 마련하였다. AFOSM 방법 및 신뢰성 조건(RC) 방법에 따라 부분 안전계수를 계산하고 이를 비교하였으며 원하는 신뢰도를 줄 수 있는 설계식을 RC 방법으로 구하였다. 부분 안전계수로부터 구한 새로운 설계식을 사용하여 신뢰성 해석을 수행한 선박에 대해 재해석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 처음보다 많이 개선된 균일한 수준의 신뢰도를 얻을 수 있었고 이로부터 신뢰성 해석의 적용가능성과 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • 최근 지반공학 분야에서는 깊은기초와 얕은기초에 관한 한계상태설계법에 관한 연구가 선행되고 있으며, 옹벽구조물에 관한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 본 연구는 철도 옹벽의 한계상태설계법을 도입하기 위한 기초 연구로써 옹벽 표준도의 파괴모드별 신뢰도지수가 목표신뢰도지수를 만족하는지를 평가하였으며, 옹벽 표준도에 대한 하중저항계수 설계를 수행함으로써 한계상태설계법의 적용성을 분석하였다. 철도 옹벽 표준도의 일부는 활동 및 지지력파괴에 대한 신뢰도지수가 목표신뢰도지수에 미달하며, 하중저항계수설계법에 의한 한계상태를 만족하지 못하여 한계상태설계 도입 시 철도 옹벽 표준도의 수정이 필요한 것으로 평가되었다.

  • The software reliability is defined, and not only the relations between testing time and reliability, but also the relation between duration following failure fixing and reliability are studied in this paper. The release time making the testing cost to be minimum is determined through evaluating the cost for each condition. Also, the release time is determined depending on the conditions of the first reliability, considering the specified reliability. The optimum release time is determined by simultaneously studying two optimum release time issues that determine both the cost related time and the specified reliability related time. And, each condition and limitation are studied. The trend of the optimum time is also examined.

  • A train is subject to a series of reliability-related tasks through its entire life cycle. Among them the reliability demonstration is required for commercial trains and the test is performed during the commissioning period or the early stage of the commercial operation. On the other hands various test are carried out for prototype trains and hence their operational condition is quit different from that of the commercial trains. One should take account of these differences when reliability assessment is needed for the prototype trains. This paper presents a procedure and an analysis method to evaluate reliability of a prototype train. Reliability data have been obtained through test runs of the HSR-350x and operational conditions for the KTX and HSR-350x have been analyzed to compare the reliability targets of the prototype train.

VDI Turret의 신뢰도 예측 (Reliability Prediction for VDI Turret)

  • Recently, the reliability are applied for many industrial products, and many products are required to guarantee in quality and in performance. The purpose of this paper is to present some of reliability prediction methodologies using failure rate database for machinery parts that are applicable to machine tools. VDI Turret, which is core component of the NC Lathe, was chosen as the target of the reliability prediction. The results of reliability prediction has shown the failure rate, MTBF(Mean Time Between Failure), and reliability of the VDI Turret. It is expected that proposed methodologies will be applicable to prediction of reliability for other components of machine tools.

  • In this paper, we develop the reference and the matching priors for the reliability function of two-parameter exponential distribution. We derive the reference priors and the matching prior, and prove the propriety of joint posterior distribution under the general prior including the reference priors and the matching prior. Through the sim-ulation study, we show that the proposed reference priors match the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense.

하이브리드 병렬 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 최적 신뢰도-중복 할당 문제 (An Optimal Reliability-Redundancy Allocation Problem by using Hybrid Parallel Genetic Algorithm)

  • Reliability allocation is defined as a problem of determination of the reliability for subsystems and components to achieve target system reliability. The determination of both optimal component reliability and the number of component redundancy allowing mixed components to maximize the system reliability under resource constraints is called reliability-redundancy allocation problem(RAP). The main objective of this study is to suggest a mathematical programming model and a hybrid parallel genetic algorithm(HPGA) for reliability-redundancy allocation problem that decides both optimal component reliability and the number of component redundancy to maximize the system reliability under cost and weight constraints. The global optimal solutions of each example are obtained by using CPLEX 11.1. The component structure, reliability, cost, and weight were computed by using HPGA and compared the results of existing metaheuristic such as Genetic Algoritm(GA), Tabu Search(TS), Ant Colony Optimization(ACO), Immune Algorithm(IA) and also evaluated performance of HPGA. The result of suggested algorithm gives the same or better solutions when compared with existing algorithms, because the suggested algorithm could paratactically evolved by operating several sub-populations and improve solution through swap, 2-opt, and interchange processes. In order to calculate the improvement of reliability for existing studies and suggested algorithm, a maximum possible improvement(MPI) was applied in this study.

결함 주입 방법을 이용한 하드웨어 검증시스템 구현 (The Implementation of Hardware Verification System Using Fault Injection Method)

  • 본 논문에서는, 오류가 발생되어 심각한 피해와 문제의 우려가 있는 하드웨어에 대한 안정성 및 신뢰성을 높이기 위해 PC에서 결함 주입 방법을 이용한 검증시스템의 구현 방법을 제시한다. 검증시스템은 PC에 디지털 I/O 카드를 연결하여 대상 하드웨어 시스템에 소프트웨어 및 하드웨어 방법으로 신호를 입력할 수 있으며, 결함을 생성하여 입력할 수도 있다. 그리고 대상 하드웨어 시스템에서 출력되는 신호를 디지털 웨이브폼 그래프로 모니터링이 가능하도록 구현하여 입력 신호에 따른 출력 신호를 비교하여 신뢰성을 평가할 수 있다. 검증시스템을 이용하여 원자력 발전소 시스템 계통장치 FPGA 펌웨어를 테스트 및 검증하였으며, 소프트웨어 방법과 실장테스트 방법에서의 문제점을 해결하여 신뢰성 있는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

강도설계용 풍하중 평가를 위한 재현기간과 기본풍속지도의 제안 (Proposal of Return Period and Basic Wind Speed Map to Estimate Wind Loads for Strength Design in Korea)

  • Strength design wind loads for the wind resistance design of structures shall be evaluated by the product of wind loads calculated based on the basic wind speed with 100 years return period and the wind load factor 1.3 specified in the provisions of load combinations in Korean Building Code (KBC) 2016. It may be sure that the wind load factor 1.3 in KBC(2016) had not been determined by probabilistic method or empirical method using meteorological wind speed data in Korea. In this paper, wind load factors were evaluated by probabilistic method and empirical method. The annual maximum 10 minutes mean wind speed data at 69 meteorological stations during past 40 years from 1973 to 2012 were selected for this evaluation. From the comparison of the results of those two method, it can be found that the mean values of wind load factors calculated both probability based method and empirical based method were similar at all meteorological stations. When target level of reliability index is set up 2.5, the mean value of wind load factors for all regions should be presented about 1.35. When target level of reliability index is set up 3.0, wind load factor should be presented about 1.46. By using the relationship between importance factor(conversion factor for return period) and wind load factor, the return periods for strength design were estimated and expected wind speeds of all regions accounting for strength design were proposed. It can be found that return period to estimate wind loads for strength design should be 500 years and 800 years in according to target level of reliability index 2.5 and 3.0, respectively. The 500 years basic wind speed map for strength design was suggested and it can be used with a wind load factor 1.0.
