This paper is to propose two computation procedures of reliability measures for large interval data. First method is efficient to verify the relationship among four reliability measures such as F(t), R(t), f(t) and $\lambda(t)$. Another method is effective to interpret the concept of various reliability measures. This study is also to reinterpret and recompute the errors of four reliability measures discovered in the reliability textbooks. Various numerical examples are presented to illustrate the application of two proposed procedures.

This paper is to derive three reliability and eight maintainability measures after organizing total time. I propose inherent availability,.achieved availability and operational availability with the new and useful reliability and maintainability measures above. Especially, inherent availability measure extends the repairable system reliability models.

This paper presents three methods for expression of reliability measures for large and small data. First method is to express parametric estimation of cardinal reliability measure data for large sample, which requires numerous sample. Second is to obtain nonparametric distribution classification of ordinal reliability measure data for small sample. However it is difficult for field user to understand this method. Last method is to acquire parametric estimation of ordinal reliability measure data for small data. Because this method requires small sample and is comprehensive, we recommend this one among the proposed methods. Various reliability rank measures are presented.

This paper proposes various measures of reliability, maintainability and availability in information technology service management(ISTM). Global ITSM standards such as ITIL(IT Infrastructure Library) and ISO/IEC 20000 are introduced. Especially availability management of De-facto and De-juire standards is concerned with users and customers of IT service. The study presents seven reliability measures, six maintainability measures and two availability measures. These results can be effectively used with a appropriate IT availability management tools such as CFIA(Component Failure Impact Analysis) and SOA(Service Outage Analysis), etc.

LEDs have rapidly replaced old light devices such as incandescent or fluorescent lamps, and have been widely applied in general lighting, signals, automobile, signs and others. Since LEDs are for both indoor and outdoor use, temperature and humidity inevitably affect its reliability. We explain the result of the degradation life test on LEDs, and guide to reliability analysis procedure. Analysis on reliability measures are performed by Weibull++6 program, and a common shape parameter of Weibull distribution on the LED is suggested. Also, we make a description of reliability analysis procedures for the degradation data using collected test data from degradation tests. Reliability analysis procedures are consisted of estimating degradation models and failure time, verifying of distribution and parameters of the distribution, and estimating of reliability measures. Finally, this paper suggests reliability analysis method for light characteristics on LEDs.

Maximum likelihood method is utilized to estimate the two parameters of generalized exponential distribution based on grouped and censored data. This method does not give closed form for the estimates, thus numerical procedure is used. Reliability measures for the generalized exponential distribution are calculated. Testing the goodness of fit for the exponential distribution against the generalized exponential distribution is discussed. Relevant reliability measures of the generalized exponential distributions are also evaluated. A set of real data is employed to illustrate the results given in this paper.

Reliability measures of questionnaire and ${\chi}^2$ contingency tests of categorized responses are most practical tools to analyze the characteristics of subjects of survey study. This research evaluates the Cronbaha's reliability measures by using Repeated Measure Design (RMD) with illustrated MINITAB examples. In addition, ${\chi}^2$ statistics of each cell of categorized tables can be effectively interpreted with the symmetric plot of correspondence analysis. The practical example is also discussed to provide comprehensive understanding of topic.

Nowadays, the competitiveness of any organisations rests dominantly on how they can manage their performance, A host of performance variables such as quality, reliability, and efficiency are recognised as competitive priorities. This paper reviews the criteria and dimensions of performance measures, and discusses six core performance indicators in agribusiness operations with particular reference to the poultry/broiler farms. Besides, a holistic "Quality, Reliability and Efficiency" view of performance is proposed when developing measures for poultry agribusiness operations.

In this paper, we consider a standby redundant structure with a function of switchover processing which may not be not perfect. The switchover processing is governed by a control module whose failure may cause the failure of the whole system. The parameters measuring such an effect of failure of the control module is included in our reliability model. We compute several reliability measures such as reliability function, failure rate, MTBF, mean residual life function, and the steady state availability. We also compare a single unit structure and the redundant structure with regard to those reliability measures. An example is given to illustrate our results.

The purpose of this study was to (1) establish a Korean adult normative database for phonatory aerodynamic measures obtained with the KayPENTAX Phonatory Aerodynamic System (PAS) Model 6600, (2) investigate the intra-subject reliability of these measures across three testing sessions, and (3) examine the effect of gender on those measures. 170 healthy normal speakers (70 men and 100 women) between the ages 18 and 49 years participated in the study. The PAS protocol of maximum phonation and voicing efficiency were conducted and 25 measures were obtained. All aerodynamic measures taken in this study demonstrated high intra-subject reliability in clinical aspect. There were no significant effect of gender in the measures related to sound pressure and subglottal pressure. However, significant differences for gender were found for phonation time, airflow rate, expiratory volume, aerodynamic power, SPL range, pitch range, mean pitch, aerodynamic resistance, and aerodynamic efficiency. Clinicians should be aware of significant gender effects in some aerodynamic parameters when interpreting the data obtained from PAS.
