  • Based on the previous studies on sinkholes and ground subsidence conducted until date, the factors affecting the occurrence of sinkholes can be divided into natural environmental factors and human environmental factors in accordance with the purpose of the study. Furthermore, to be more specific, the human environment can be classified into the artificial type and the social type. In this study, the assessment indices for assessing risks of sinkholes and ground subsidence were developed by performing AHP analysis based on the results of the study by Lee et al. (2016), who selected the risk factors for the occurrence of sinkholes by performing Delphi analysis targeting relevant experts. Analysis showed that the artificial environmental factors were of significance in affecting the occurrence of sinkholes. Explicitly, the underground factors were found to be of importance in the natural environment, and among them, the level of underground water turned out to be an imperative influencing factor. In the artificial environment, the underground and subterranean structures exhibited similar importance, and in the underground structures, the excessive use of the underground space was found to be an important influencing factor. In the subterranean ones, the level of water leakage and the erosion of the water supply and sewage piping system were the influential factors, and in the surface, compaction failure was observed as an imperative factor. In the social environment, the regional development, and above all, the groundwater overuse were found to be important factors. In the managemental and institutional environment, the improper construction management proved to be the most important influencing factor.

  • Purpose: To investigate the behavioural factors of the health promotion for caregivers based on a socio-ecological model. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional descriptive study using a self administered questionnaire. The survey was conducted in 219 people chosen through convenient sampling between September and December 2008. The collected information included general characteristics, individual, interpersonal, community, policy level. Results: For the statistical analysis, the t-test was used for the health promotion according to the general characteristics and to each level of the socio-ecological model, by assessing the high and low values and dividing them into mean points. The influence elicited by different health promotion factors was determined using the hierarchical multiple regression. At the individual level, the factors influencing health promotion in caregivers included perceived seriousness, perceived benefits, and self efficacy. Social support was important at interpersonal level, and the use of community resource was relevant for the community level. We found no statistically significant factors relating to the policy level. Conclusions: In conclusion, the socio-ecological models seems appropriate for explaining health promotion and its associated factors in caregivers. We suggest that, for caregivers, strategies should be developed for their social support and to offer information about how to use community resources in relation with factors relating to the individual level.

  • While previous studies argue that BIM-based assembling collaboration promotes the communication and process management among participants in architectural design projects, it is still unknown which communication and socio-psychological factors are more and less activated in use of BIM-based collaboration. To investigate this research aim, in authentic BIM-used architectural retrofitting projects, the participants (N=36) collaborated and assessed the communication factors on (1) perceiving design results, (2)understanding partners'design intention, (3) proposing and converging opinions, the interpersonal design process management factors on (1) managing design process, (2) managing collaboration schedule, and the complementedness factors on (1) understanding partners' expertise, and comradeship. Statistical analyses reveal that the factor relevant to perceiving design results is better activated than the other factors (p<0.05), but all other factors are not much activated compared to perceiving design results. Deduced from the previous BIM studies and interviews, a reason roots in the shared forms and semantics of BIM. The shared semantics represent collaborators' information and allow the participants to perceive design changes explicitly. Meanwhile, BIM-based assembling collaboration is limited to represent observable, experience-able processes of design, and thus, several key socio-psychological factors, such as proposing and converging opinions and managing design process, are less activated.

  • This study aims to explore the critical success factors of the Water Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Projects in developing country with evidence from Indonesia. We all know that water is a basic need and therefore it becomes very important for the governments especially in the developing countries to develop and formulate a comprehensive water policy to deliver and manage the water services in the most appropriate manner as well tackle several challenges such as budget and project efficiency. In this context, PPP is a promising scheme to address the water problems, hence it becomes important to reveal the success factors of water PPP projects. An Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) questionnaire built from delphi methods is used to capture the perception of the relevant stakeholders in relation to the success factors. The results of this study show the most critical success factors in PPP water projects is the support and acceptance of the stakeholders from the community, whereas the private and public entities are the the second and third important factors. These findings contribute to the success of the PPP stakeholders by enhancing the policy-making decision process and by executing the water policies to support the development of PPP in the Water Sector.

  • The MOBA game is updated every year with a new season, the new season update brings fun to the game users and also makes them feel unfamiliar with the new gameplay. In order to let game users better adapt to the new season, this study will extract the new season balance evaluation factors. Firstly, we used one-on-one review to collect the unbalanced factors that game users had encountered at the beginning of the new season of the MOBA game, and secondly, we organized the collected review data into a questionnaire and conducted a survey. The first step of the experiment was to filter out the lower factors through exploratory factor analysis and extract the balance evaluation factors of the MOBA game new season. The second step of the experiment was to examine the correlation between the factors through confirmatory factor analysis, as well as to confirm the appropriateness and explanatory value of the factors. The analysis resulted in "Game character experience", "Game view's expression", "Game level", and "Composition of the game setting" are the four factors. Finally, through correlation analysis, the most relevant factor for game satisfaction is the "Game character experience", and each factor is correlated with each other.
