초등학교 교사들의 수업 관행과 학생들의 학습 환경 인식과의 관계 (Consistency Between Elementary Teachers' Teaching Practice in Mathematics and Classroom Learning Environment)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigatethe relationship between Korean elementary teachers' teaching practice and students' perceptions of classroom learning environment. It is important to examine whether teachers conceive of mathematics and their teaching practice are consistent with their actual teaching mathematics in classroom. To do so, two reform-oriented and two traditionally-oriented elementary teachers in Seoul and a total of 130 students from these four selected teachers' classes participated in the present study Using classroom environment survey scale [CES] the differences in students' perceptions on classroom learning environment were examined. The results show that students taught by reform-oriented teachers have significantly higher score in the area of participation, relevance, and commitment to learning than traditionally-oriented group of students. Thus, we may conclude that the reform-oriented group of students have more benefits in learning mathematics than do the traditionally-oriented group of students.

  • This paper proposes a public oriented e-Marketplace that induces strategic coalition using database in which detail information about each firm is contained. A public oriented e-Marketplace links each firm through the type of Internet business model and constructs a trading community. We introduce a design methodology of public oriented e-Marketplace called as social network analysis. Social network analysis helps each firm's network easily visualized and completely modeled. Additionally, this paper tries to analyze the relationship among the level of competition, potential of strategic coalition, and financial performance. We demonstrate the firm to easily accept various strategic coalitions can make higher financial performance under the more competitive condition. This implies that strategic coalition through public oriented e-Marketplace provide the each firm with various opportunities.

수간호사의 리더십 유형과 간호사의 직무만족과의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between Nursing Performance and Leadership Styles of Head Nurses)

  • This study was aimed for effective nursing performance of the nurse to be able dedicate to the development of professional nursing work by understanding correlation between the leadership style of head nurse and the nursing performance of the nurse. The materials have been collected through structured questionnaires for 18 days from Feb. 2, 1999 to Feb. 20 from 234 nurses presently working at 4 hospitals Circumstances aptitude theory of Fleishman (1973) were used as the device of measuring leadership style, and staff nurses nursing performance were done by head nurses utilizing questionnaire adopted from Park. Data was analyzed by frequency, mean, ANOVA, ANCOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficiency by using SPSS program. The results are as follows ; 1. Head nurse leadership was classified in the following manner : duty and human relationships oriented style of head nurse leadership(3.76), human relationship oriented style(3.30), duty leadership oriented style(3.12), and non-interference leadership style(2.77). Duty and human relationships showed highest score in this category. 2. The mean of nursing performance was 3.66, dependent nursing duty was 3.88, interpersonal relationship 3.78, and independent nursing was 3.34. 3. An education course of nursing performance by general characteristics was statistically significant. Job satisfaction, for seen working periods, and motivation for choosing a nursing job of nursing job characteristics was statistically siginficant. 4. As the degree of independence nursing performance increases, the degree and of dependance and interpersonal relationship of nursing performance increases. 5. The relationship between nurse leadership style and nursing performance were statistically different. The degree of duty and human relationship style of the head nurse were highest in dependent and independent nursing performance. Therefore, it is desirable that the head nurse should demonstrate the leadership style high in the duty and human relationships for effective nursing performance.

The Effects of Authentic Leadership on Service-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behaviors: The Role of Goal Commitment as a Mediator - A Case of Five Star Deluxe Hotel Employees -

  • The hotel industry needs to make the competitive advantage difficult to be imitated in order to remain sustainable in competitive business circumstances. Front-line employees' service-oriented citizenship behaviors(OCBs) can be such a strength from the perspective of organizational system. With an aim of investigating the antecedents of the hotel front-line employees' service-oriented OCBs, this study proposed a theoretical framework linking authentic leadership to service-oriented OCBs with goal commitment as a mediator. A total of 260 cases without missing values have been used for the final analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) is employed using the SPSS and AMOS 7. It was first found that self-awareness and relational transparency of authentic leadership made a significant impact on their goal commitment while balanced processing and moral perspective failed to influence them. Second. goal commitment influenced all sub-factors of service-oriented OCBs. Third, moral perspective and relational transparency of authentic leadership significantly influenced service-oriented OCBs while self-awareness and relational transparency failed to make it. Finally, goal commitment significantly makes an intervening effect for the relationship between self-awareness & service-oriented OCBs and relational transparency & service-oriented OCBs but failed to intervene the other relationships. The results provide theoretical and practical implications regarding directions of leadership styles and HR management in the hotel industry and suggestions for the further extended studies.

Results-oriented Culture, Performance Information Use and the Performance of Public Organizations: Evidence from Vietnam

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the mediating role of performance information use in the relationship between result-oriented culture and organizational performance. The data were collected from chief accountants and managers working in public-sector organizations in Vietnam. The analysis was based on the 197 completed questionnaires by using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). For the test research model and hypotheses, the supporting tool is SmartPLS 3 software. Research findings show that result-oriented culture is positively associated with organizational performance, and that performance information use is a mediating mechanism that explains how a result-oriented culture leads to higher performance in public organizations. The findings of this study suggest that the results-oriented culture, not only directly improves organizational performance, but also indirectly does so by the use of performance information. This study provides evidence for theoretical understanding of the impact of result-oriented culture on the performance of public-sector organizations through performance information use, and suggests practical implications for public organizations in applying result-oriented culture to foster using performance measurement and improve organizational performance. In order to achieve good performance, public-sector organizations need to create and spread result-oriented culture and enhance the use of performance information for decision-making.

공공기관 간호사의 직무특성, 조직문화가 직무만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Job Characteristics, Organizational Culture on Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention in Public Institution Nurses)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between job characteristics, organizational culture, job satisfaction and turnover intention, including the direct and indirect effects of the variables on turnover intention. Methods: A questionnaire was completed by a convenience sample of 144 nurses working for two public institutions. Data were analyzed using independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, Hierarchical multiple regression and Path analysis with SPSS/WIN 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs. Results: The mean score for job satisfaction and turnover intention was similar to that of other hospital nurses. The factors affecting job satisfaction were: position, number of job changes, relationship-oriented culture, and hierarchical-oriented culture(Adj. $R^2=.48$, F=14.43, p<.001). The factors affecting turnover intention were: age, position, overtime, and job satisfaction(Adj. $R^2=.61$, F=19.48, p<.001). Job autonomy and relationship-oriented culture had a significant indirect effect on turnover intention. Conclusion: In developing intervention strategies to improve job satisfaction and reduce turnover intention there is a need to consider both the job characteristics and organizational culture of nurses in public institutions.

도메인객체의 일관성 있는 참조를 위한 연관정보 관리 서비스 (A Relationship Management Service for Consistent References Between Domain Objects)

  • 엔터프라이즈 아키텍처 패턴 중 하나인 도메인모델은 재사용성 및 확장성, 그리고 유지보수에 많은 장점을 갖고 있다. 도메인모델을 적용하기 위해서는 지속성계층과의 매핑 및 트랜잭션 관리를 위한 다양한 서비스가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 도메인모델을 적용하여 개발한 시스템에서 도메인객체의 삭제 트랜잭션 처리 시 발생할 수 있는 참조의 일관성 오류 문제를 해결하기 위해 도메인객체의 연관정보를 관리하는 서비스를 제안한다. 제안한 연관정보 관리 서비스는 다대다 연관을 맺고 있는 도메인객체를 모니터링 하고 수행흐름을 가로채어 삭제 시 발생하는 객체의 참조 오류를 해결한다. 도메인객체 및 기존 서비스의 수정 없이 서비스를 제공하기 위해 AOP(Aspect-Oriented Programming)를 적용하였다.

부모의 양육행동, 남녀 아동의 완벽주의 및 성취동기간의 관계 (The Relationship among Parenting Behaviors, Children's Perfectionism and Achievement Motivation)

  • This study examined the relationship among parenting behaviors, children's perfectionism and achievement motivation, using a sample of 338 fifth and sixth graders. The participants completed questionnaires on parenting behaviors and their perfectionism and achievement motivation. Data were analyzed by factor analyses and multiple regression analysis. Both boys and girls had higher achievement motivation when they perceived higher parental levels of acceptance, and girls showed higher achievement motivation when they perceived higher maternal control/over-expectation. Boys who exhibited self-oriented and socially prescribed perfectionism and girls who exhibited self-oriented perfectionism showed higher achievement motivation. Boys had higher self-oriented and socially prescribed perfectionism when perceiving higher parental acceptance and control/over-expectation. Girls showed higher self-oriented perfectionism when perceiving higher parental acceptance and control/over-expectation, and they showed higher socially prescribed perfectionism when perceiving higher paternal control/over-expectation and maternal acceptance and control/over-expectation. It was revealed that both boys' and girls' perfectionism tended to play mediating roles between parenting behaviors and achievement motivation.

  • 공정의 위험성 평가를 위한 이상트리 작성은 많은 시간과 인력을 요하는 작업으로 대규모 화학공장에 적용하기가 매우 힘들다. 본 연구에서는 화학공정의 이상트리 합성을 위해 장치에서 발생할 수 있는 공정변수의 이탈 및 장치이상에 대한 원인-결과 관계를 나타내는데 필요한 객체지향 지식기반의 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 이상에 대한 원인을 탐색하기 위하여 장치의 객체지향 모델링과 장치간의 연결관계를 이용하여 이탈을 전파하고 이를 통해 이상트리를 합성하였다. 제안된 방법론을 질산 냉각 공정에 적용하여 그 유효성을 검증하였다.

공동체적 가정교육의 실행과 가정건전도 (The Relationship between Community Values Taught at Home and the Soundness of Family Life)

  • This study was conducted to investigate how the community values taught at home by parents affect the soundness of family life. The 914 participants in the sample were parents residing in Seoul. Major findings are described in the following: 1) The general level education of community-oriented values at home, which was measured by the level of parents' practice of community-oriented behavior, was very insufficient. 2) The soundness of family life was measured in six sub-areas. The six areas showed varying degrees of soundness, but the overall level of soundness was satisfactory. The conjugal relationship had the highest degree of soundness, whereas the general everyday atmosphere at home marked the lowest level. 3) The only significant independent variable that affected the practice of community values was the participants's subjective perception of their social class standing. 4) The level of practice of community values and social class variables were found to influence the soundness of family life. The level of practice of community values was an especially strong predictor in all areas of family soundness. In conclusion, the education of community values at home, measured by the parental practice of community-oriented behavior, positively influences the soundness of the family.
