  • The purpose of this paper is to explore causal relationship between social capital and firm's performance using systems thinking analysis. In strategic networks, the relationship between the members is an important factor affecting the performance. For this reason, we study relationship between social capital and firm's performance on strategic networks. The results show: Firstly, as presented in the existing research, trust and performance are positive relationship(+) and verify the entire system on strategic networks. Secondly, due to exclusiveness and embeddedness of social capital, there is nonlinear relationship between social capital and the firm's performance. Thirdly, the key factor of firm's performance on strategic networks verify relationship dependency and trust.

  • This study examined the effects of the mother-child relationship and marital satisfaction on the subjective well-being of mothers with young children. The subjects consisted of 237 mothers with young children. Data were analyzed by means of multiple regression analysis, T-test and one way ANOVA. The results included that 1) There were clear differences in terms of the mother's level of education, her monthly income in household, and job satisfaction when it came to the subjective well-being of mothers. 2) The mother-child relationship and marital satisfaction were both positively correlated with the cognitive and affective factor (positive affects) of subjective well-being, whereas there were negative correlations with regard to affective factors (negative affects) of subjective well-being. 3) The mother-child relationship and marital satisfaction accounted for 32.5% of subjective well-being. More specifically, marital satisfaction was the most influential variable when it came to determining the level of life satisfaction (which is also a cognitive factor of subjective well-being), whereas the mother-child relationship was the most influential variable when it came to the affective factor of subjective well-being.

  • In this study, we examined distribution channel relationship by using the idea of Cheong, which is a unique feeling an positive role in Korean society. Companies make great efforts to maintain long-term relationship with buyers. Understanding distinctive relationship system of each culture should precede these efforts to bring effective results. So we considered how Cheong, a meaningful factor in Korean distribution channel, affects relationship quality and performance. As a result of research analysis from 272 survey questionnaires of retailers, engaging in Crops Protected Material industry in Korea, supplier's idiosyncratic investment, retailer's Cheong, and dependence of retailers on suppliers have positive effects on relationship quality. Supplier's idiosyncratic investment and cognitive factors have the highest influence and Cheong, an emotional factor, follows. Dependence, a motivational factor has the least influence. We confirmed that retailer's cooperation and long-term orientation are directly influenced by retailer's commitment. Active cooperation of the retailer, a partner of a distribution channel, is regarded as an essential factor for supplier's effective business. Retailer's commitment increased that cooperation. Retailer's trust and commitment also decreased relationship conflicts. The results of this study imply that companies should increase idiosyncratic investment to improve relationship quality. But increasing idiosyncratic investment is limited because it requires monetary investment. Therefore companies need to recognize the importance of Cheong, revealed as a new factor, improving relationship quality and to make the best use of it. In this study, we contributed theoretically by examining the role of Cheong, and introducing its distribution discipline. We also make practical suggestions about supplier's relationship management.

  • This study proposes the structural model of inpatient's satisfaction with their room. Relationship among patients' privacy, patients' stress, and patients' satisfaction were evaluated and were discussed. Survey research followed the literature review, in which the subjects answered questions of the 12 items for the patients' privacy requirements, 10 items selected from the HSRS, and an item of patients' satisfaction. A total of 120 copies were analyzed through the statistical process using the SPSS Win Program 20.0 and SEM by the AMOS 20.0. Results and conclusions are as follows: (1) the inpatients' privacy requirements was subdivided into 'the reserve factor', 'the territoriality factor', and 'the solitude factor'. (2) The inpatients' stress level was subdivided into 'the relationship factor', 'the unfamiliarity factor', and 'the control factor'. (3) The model of relationship among the subjects' privacy requirements, stress level and their satisfaction with the patients' room showed that the subjects' stress level affected their satisfaction with the patients' room directly and the subjects' privacy requirements gave an direct and indirect effect on their' stress level and an indirect effect on their satisfaction with patients' room.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how servant service factor of service marketing factors affects to customer's satisfaction, relationship quality, and commitment and consequently to see how these factors affect to revisit intention which is the hotel performance. The empirical results showed that technical factor and customer orientational factor had a significant influence on customer satisfaction and relationship quality, and functional factor affected to only relationship quality. Also customer and relationship quality had a significant influence, and commitment had a significant influence on revisit intention which is a performance factor. Specifically relationship quality built by the interrelationship between the purchasers and the suppliers showed higher influence than customer satisfaction's influence on the commitment. That is, when there is an interaction between trust on the employees and customer satisfaction, there is a greater synergy effect on the commitment. Although the degree of customer satisfaction is low, the commitment can be high with high effort of service providers. This implies that the attitude of service providers is the critical factor on the degree of commitment of service users.

  • This study tested the validity of the six-factor model of fashion savvy which was modified from the consumer savvy scale developed by Macdonald and Uncles(2007) and explored the relationship between fashion savvy and consumer propensity to observe. Regarding the relationship, it was hypothesized that consumer propensity to observe antecedes fashion savvy. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul metropolitan area, using convenience sampling, and 311 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing data, factor analysis and regression were conducted. The findings show the validity of the six factors of fashion savvy, which are fashion sophistication, interpersonal network competency, online network competency, marketing literacy, consumer self-efficacy, and consumer expectations. Tests of the hypothesized relationship show that two factors of consumer propensity to observe influence fashion savvy. More specifically, the 'observing shoppers' factor positively influences all six factors of fashion savvy, whereas the 'following what others buy' factor negatively influences four factors of fashion savvy, fashion sophistication, interpersonal network competency, marketing literacy, and consumer self-efficacy. The implications of these findings and suggestions for future study are also discussed.

  • Some characteristics of the eigenvalue sensitivities have been found for beams in the paper. For cantilever beams and simply supported beams, the sensitivities of the eigenvalues to the stiffness correction factor of one element are equal and opposite to the sensitivities to the mass correction factor of the symmetrically positioned element. For beams with other boundary conditions, however, the relationship does not hold. The relationship has been proven analytically for simply supported beams.

  • To cope with the rapid emergence of competition, communication service providers are assigning marketers for the purpose of relationship marketing. However, the efficiency of relationship marketing has yet to be examined. This paper investigates the service quality determinants In relationship marketing through the telecommunication service marketers. By considering the specificity of the marketer´s role, the quality dimensions in SERVQUAL research have been modified. A survey has been conducted for the hypothesized seven quality dimensions. The results of the factor analysis show that the service quality determinants of relationship marketing are in fact four dimensions : empathy, reliability, image and tangibles. Here, the empathy dimension entails cost factor, and the reliability dimension includes responsiveness and assurance. The results also support the proposition, reported in SIRVPIRF research, that the quality of service should be measured only by the perceived achievement of the customer. This study provides useful insights into developing the strategy for effective relationship marketing.

  • This study investigated the impact of long-term relationship orientation on emotional characteristic in fashion stores and relationship characteristic between middle-aged and senior women and salespeople. This study employed survey method with questionnaire. Data were collected from 579 women who were from the age of forty to seventy. The data were analyzed using statistic methods(SPSS 15.0 and Amos 5.0) such as frequency analysis, cronbach $\alpha$, exploratory factor analysis, second-order confirmatory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling. The findings of this study were concluded as follows; Firstly, the income significantly affected on emotional characteristics(p < 0.01), but had no significant effect on long-term relationship orientation(p < 0.05). The higher income, the more respondents exhibited positive attitude and sensitive emotional characteristics as a sense of sight, hearing, smell, tactile and feeling to salespeople in the fashion stores. The path of structural equation was implemented as income variables $\rightarrow$ emotional characteristics $\rightarrow$ (relationship with salespeople variables $\rightarrow$ )commitment $\rightarrow$ long-term relationship orientation which turned out to be statistically significant at the 95% confidence level. Secondly, senior group(55~70yrs) was more positive relationship with salespeople compared to middle-aged group(40~54yrs). The precondition of get satisfaction and feeling of being cared from the salespeople were critical for long-term relationship orientation. The path of structural equation was carried out as age variables $\rightarrow$ relationship with salespeople variables $\rightarrow$ commitment $\rightarrow$ long-term relationship orientation which turned out to be statistically significant at the 95% confidence level.
