기업 간 협업 네트워크의 창발 : 관계 역량을 중심으로 (Emergence of Inter-organizational Collaboration Networks : Relational Capability Perspective)

  • This paper proposes relational capability as a main driver of constructing inter-organizational collaboration networks. Based on social network theory and relational view literature, three components of relational capability are constructed and implemented by an agent-based model. The components include organizational capability, structural capability, and trust between a partner and a focal firm. These three components are updated by two micro mechanisms: structural mechanism and relational mechanism. Structural mechanism is a feedback loop in which the relational capability increases structural capability and vice versa. Relational mechanism is a learning-by-doing process in which a focal firm experiences success or failure of collaboration and the experience increases or decreases cumulative trust in a partner firm. Result of agent-based simulation shows that a collaboration network emerges through interactions of firm's relational capabilities and the characteristics of emerged networks vary with the contribution of structural capability and trust to relational capability. Specifically, in case structural capability contributes more to relational capability, the average degree centrality and collaboration proportion increases as time passes and enters into an equilibrium state. In that case, almost every firms participated in the network collaborates each other so that the emerged network becomes highly cohesive. In case trust contributes more to relational capability, the results are reversed. In an equilibrium state, the balance of contribution between structural capability and trust makes an emerged network larger and maximizes average degree centrality of the network.

Increasing Salesperson Performance through Relational Penetration Capability: The Implementation of Insurance Service Company Distribution

  • Purpose: This research aims to analyze the influence of relational penetration capability on salesperson performance and the influence of customer orientation, customer knowledge accessibility, and salesperson-customer relationship quality on the relational penetration capability of the insurance service industry in Central Java. Research design, data, and methodology: This explanatory research involved 211 respondents. Path analysis was used to analyze the primary data obtained. Results: The customer orientation positively influences relational penetration capability and customer knowledge accessibility which can improve salesperson performance. The salesperson-customer relationship quality shows a positive impact on the salesperson's relational penetration capability, salesperson performance, and relational penetration capability which will lead to an improved salesperson-customer relationship. Higher knowledge levels of customer necessity have important implications for a salesperson's capability of finding potential customers and of fulfilling customers' requirements through careful analysis of necessity. Conclusions: The salespeople should be capable of building and maintaining a good relationship with their customers as an indication that salespeople of Insurance Service Company Distribution in Central Java have good performance.

아웃소싱 성과를 위한 IT 서비스 관리에서 IT 거버넌스 커미트먼트의 중요성에 대한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Importance of IT Governance Commitment in IT Service Management for Outsourcing Performance)

  • IT outsourcing studies have centered on the separate effect of formal contract and relational trust on IT outsourcing performance. In addition, previous studies ignored the importance of the relational capability that combine the formal contract and partnership can be able to deliver IT outsourcing effects. In this paper, we propose an IT governance commitment as a mediated role between relational capability and IT outsourcing performance. We collected data from 143 client companies of IT outsourcing and analyzed it using the PLS method. Our findings are revealed as following: At first, relational capability significantly and directly influence IT governance commitment as well as indirectly through formal contract and partnership. Secondly, IT governance commitment mediate between relational capability and IT outsourcing effect, and in turn affect IT outsourcing performance. The results and implications are further discussed.

Intellectual Capital and Innovation Capability: A Strategy for Achieving Competitive Advantage

  • Purpose - The ability to meet the high demand for education in Nigeria is lacking, making the region remain backwards in education. Given this reason, the study investigates the role of innovation capability in the relationship between intellectual capital and competitive advantage in tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Research design, data, and methodology - The study is cross-sectional research, a total of 427 questionnaires were administered to respondents. The study distributed its questionnaire across 12 faculties at the University of Ibadan using a random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using ADANCO 2.1.1. Result - The study reveals that human capital, structural capital, relational capital, and innovation capability positively affect competitive advantage. Innovation capability mediates the relationship between human capital and relational capital. However, structural capital was not mediated by innovation capability. Conclusion - The study concludes that intellectual capitals and innovation capability are crucial to maintaining a competitive advantage over their peers. Achieving more significant success in the variables mentioned earlier will help Nigeria's tertiary institutions compete locally and internationally.

중소기업의 개방형 혁신 역량과 조직 역량이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향 (Impact of SME's Open Innovation and Organization Capabilities on Corporate Performance)

  • 본 연구에서는 중소기업을 대상으로 이들 중소기업의 개방형 혁신 역량과 이러한 혁신을 주체적으로 이끌 내부조직 역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 중소기업 종사자 250명을 대상으로 실증적인 분석을 하였다. 실증 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 개방형 혁신역량의 하위 요소 중 흡수능력, 관계능력, 조직역량의 하위요소 중 CEO의 혁신성, 종업원의 혁신성, 의사결정 개방성 모두 중소기업의 비재무적 성과에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 반면 증분능력은 비재무적 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 한편, 흡수능력, 관계능력, CEO의 혁신성, 의사결정 개방성 모두 중소기업의 재무적 성과에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 반면 증분능력과 종업원 혁신성은 재무적 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 의사결정 개방성과 흡수능력이 기업의 재무적 성과 및 비재무적 성과에 공통적으로 중요한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학술적 및 실무적인 시사점을 제시하였다.

  • 본 본문은 자기추적기술을 기반으로 하는 정밀의료 시대에 자율성 존중 논의를 본격적으로 하기 전에, 존중의 대상이 되는 자율성 개념, 즉 협의생명의료윤리적 자율성과 관계적 자율성을 검토하는 것이 그 목적이다. 먼저 협의의 생명의료윤리적 자율성(narrow bioethical autonomy)으로 규정되는 탐 비첨(Tom Beauchamp)과 제임스 췰드리스(James Childress)가 제시하는 자율성 논의를 검토를 통해서, 자율성 개념의 범위를 확장할 필요성이 있음을 밝힐 것이다. 그런 다음에 협의의 자율성 보다 확장된 광의 자율성으로써 관계적 자율성이 새로운 상황에서 윤리적 지침을 형성하는 대상으로 적합한 자율성 개념임을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 관리하는 XML 저장 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 그러나 지금까지의 연구는 대부분 풍부한 모델링 기능을 제공하는 객체관계형 DBMS보다는 관계형 DBMS에 기반하여 이루어져 왔다. 본 논문에서는 오디세우스 객체관계형 DBMS를 위한 XML 저장 시스템인 ODYSSEUS/XMLStore를 설계하고 구현한다. 첫째, XML 문서 구조에서 관계형 및 객체관계형 데이터 베이스 스키마로의 매핑에 대해 분석한다. 둘째, 분석된 매핑을 기술하는 방법을 표준 언어인 XML Schema를 활용하여 제안한다. 셋째, 사용자가 명시한 매핑 정보를 데이터 베이스에 저장하는 저장 구조를 제안한다. 넷째, 사용자가 정의한 매핑 정보에 의거하여 XML 문서를 관계형 및 객체관계형 데이터 베이스에 저장하는 세부 알고리즘들을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기술융합화에 따른 경기도 농업분야의 블루오션 전략으로 경기도 식물공장(vertical farm) 추진의 전략방향을 고찰하고, 이를 위한 과학기술 유관기관간 협력방안을 모색하여 본다. 기술 융복합 성격이 매우 강한 사업의 추진은 사업추진 초기부터 협력을 위한 전략 프레임을 설정하고 이에 따라 협력체계를 구축하는 것이 성공의 열쇠가 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 경기도 식물공장의 추진의 미래상을 시나리오플래닝을 통하여 고찰하여 보고, 이의 달성을 위한 향후 식물공장 추진 방향을 고찰한다. 농업기술 융복합 혁신의 산물인 식물공장 추진의 전략방향을 시나리오플래닝을 통하여 다차원적으로 고찰한 본 논문은 융복합 기술관련 연구 조직에게 큰 함의를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

The Effect of Strategic Orientation on Market Performance: Study of the Mediators

  • Purpose - This study investigates the effect of strategic orientation on market performance with emphasis on the mediative role of innovation capability, economic value and relational value in food producer companies. Research design, data, and methodology - In this descriptive study, a population of 244 managers and employees of Food industry companies in Tehran were investigated. The respondents filled a questionnaire on strategic orientation, innovation capability, economic value, relational value and market performance, during January to August 2018. Reliability and validity were evaluated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient and confirmatory factor analysis. To analyze the data, Spearman's correlation coefficient and structural equation modeling were used by SmartPLS software. Results - Effects of competitor's orientation and technology orientation on all three intermediary variables were positive and significant. The effect of customer orientation on innovation and economic value was positive and significant, but the effect of customer orientation on the value of the relationship was insignificant. Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on innovation capability. The effects of three mediator variables on market performance are positive and significant. Conclusions - As the relationship between the mediator variables and market performance were positive and significant, companies should have a comprehensive plan of focus on strengthening these variables.

국내 중소기업의 내·외부 요인이 스마트팩토리의 도입에 미치는 영향에 관한 탐색적 연구 : 금속가공업을 중심으로 (Effects of Internal and External Characteristics of Korean SMEs on the Introduction of Smart Factory : An Exploratory Investigation on the Metal Processing Industry)

  • Five years have passed since the introduction of the smart factory amid the new opportunities for growth and job creation in relation to domestic manufacturing companies. Nevertheless, there is a lack of analysis on SMEs introduction smart factories. This study empirically analyzed the effects on the introduction of smart factories of domestic metal processing SMEs by distinguishing the characteristics of enterprises In this study, 103 companies which introduced smart factories and another 106 companies which did not introduce them were sampled. The Introduction of the Smart Factory was analyzed by four categories such as the Company characteristics (R&D capability, product production capability, organizational change), entrepreneur characteristics (risk sensitivity), relational characteristics (trust, dependence, cooperation, Influence), and structural characteristics (competition). As a result of the research, we found out product production capacity, risk sensitivity, trust and cooperation, Influence, and competition are statistically significant in the introduction of smart factory. But competition was characterized by a negative (-) sign opposite to the hypothesis. This study is meaningful in that the scope of the analysis has been expanded by analyzing whether smart factory was introduced or not considering the characteristics of the company. And there should be continuous research on its utilization as well as the introduction of smart factory.
