일반적인 재래식 선형 전압 조절기의 최악 조건 해석 (Worst Case Analysis for General Conventional Linear Regulator)

  • 위성 전자회로의 다양한 전압을 생성하는 선형 전압 조절기는 우주 방사능에 강인한 칩을 사용하기도 하지만, 간단한 선형 전압 조절기 회로를 구현하여 사용하는 경우가 많다. 이때, 설계한 선형 전압 조절기는 공급할 전압에 따라 조금씩 다른 형태로 설계할 수 있지만, 회로 설계에 따른 최악 조건 해석은 일관된 방법론과 체크해야할 항목으로 정리될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 일반적인 재래식 선형 전압 조절기 회로에서 수행할 최악 조건 해석 방법을 기술하고, 정리한다.

  • In this paper, the design of high current and high performance Regulatior IC using BCD Technology are presented. We design the 5A class regulator IC including the VDMOS Pass Tr. of N-sink array structure. Also, to obtain the high current and low power characteristics, the PMOS and BJT device are adapted for the Pass Tr. It is shown that simulation results of Regulator IC with VDMOS Pass Tr. have the Iout=4.5092A, LDO=7.3mV.

  • This paper presents a procedure for the time-scale separation and a design method for the sub-optimal composite regulator and Kalman filter of the large-scale discrete stochastic system with two time-scale properties. Provided that the fast sub-system is asymptotically stable, the reduced-order regulator and Kalman filter for the slow sub-system with dominant modes is designed as a sub-optimal regulator for the system.

  • This paper describes a step-down AC voltage regulator using an AC chopper and auxiliary transformer, which is a series connected to the main input. The detail design of the AC regulator, logic and PWM pattern of the AC chopper is described and the three-phase AC regulator using two single­phase AC choppers with a three transformer configuration is proposed for three-phase application. The proposed three-phase system has the advantages of lower system cost due to reduced switch number and gate driver circuit as well as advantages of decreased size and weight because it uses a series compensated scheme. The proposed AC regulator has many benefits such as fast voltage control, high efficiency and simple control logic. Experimental results indicate that it can be used as a step-down AC voltage regulator for power saving purposes very efficiently.

  • The flow regulators we widely use have some disadvantages. They have a constant flow within each regulator and an inaccuracy with extruding capillary. In this study, we have developed a new type of regulator which was made up of two different capillary tubes overlapped each other. The developed regulator can vary and control the amount of flow. The design parameters of the developed regulator are obtained by using the analytical software. We have proved that the developed regulator can control flow properly through making a trial product and experiment.

Simulation on Hydraulic Control Characteristics of Regulator System in Bent-Axis Type Piston Pump

  • Variable displacement axial piston pumps are widely used for raising the energy level of the fluid in hydraulic systems. And the regulator is the device which regulates the discharge flow of the piston pump by controlling the swivel angle. The regulator receives the hydraulic pilot pressure and controls the pump output flow depending on the machine load and engine speed. This work deals with constant power control (horsepower control) in the design of a regulator by using a bent-axis type piston pump. In order to effectively use engine power, we must keep the horsepower from the engine to the pump constant. Therefore the regulator operates the constant power control. As a result, optimum power usage is obtained by accurately following the power hyperbola. This study focused on developing a simulation model of a regulator. First, the governing equations of the regulator are derived, and analysis is performed by computer simulation, which can identify significant parameters of regulator. As a result, the variation of the swivel angle, flow rate, hyperbolic curve, inner leakage and responsibility are simulated, and significant parameters of a regulator are identified.

  • 플라스틱 소재를 사용한 사출성형부품은 차량 경량화뿐만 아니라 충격흡수를 통한 운전자와 보행자 보호, 제품 디자인의 자율성등의 우수한 장점을 가지고 있어 그 사용량이 급속히 증가하고 있다. 유리섬유함유 플라스틱재료를 이용한 레귤레이터 레일의 사출성형시 불량률최소화를 위해 유한요소해석과 실험계획법을 사용하여 성형공정중의 휨변형량(warpage)과 수축변형를 최소화할 수 있는 최적의 성형조건을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 유리섬유의 유동성과 냉각효율의 확보를 위해 최적의 게이트 및 런너방식을 설정한다. 사출금형을 제작하여 제품을 성형제작한 후 휨변형등의 성능확인을 통해 해석방법의 유효성과 최적화의 실효성을 확인하고자 한다.

  • In order to design the control system of the magnetic bearing for the high speed 3 phase induction motor, the mathematical modeling was conducted and LQ regulator system was designed. When the plant is controllable and detectable, the nominal stability of LQ regulator could be guaranteed. However, LQ regulator doesn't ensure the robustness of stability and performance for the real system because LQ control is the mathematical optimal theory. In this paper to ensure the robustness of stability and performance for the real system, the control systems are designed by the simulation to the variation system parameters and this method was confirmed as an effective means.

  • In this paper, a digital speed regulator system design method is developed for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). Firstly, an accurate approximate discrete-time model is proposed for a PMSM considering its inherent nonlinearities. Based on the discrete-time model, a digital acceleration observer as well as a digital speed regulator is designed. The exponential stability of the augmented control system is analyzed. The proposed digital speed regulator system is implemented by using a TMS320F28335 floating point DSP. Simulation and experimental results are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

사판식 액셜피스톤 펌프-레귤레이터계의 선형화해석에 의한 유압제어특성 고찰 (A Study on Hydraulic Control Characteristics of a Swashplate Type Axial Piston Pump-Regulator System by Linearization Analysis)

  • The regulator system has been modeled and combined to a swashplate type axial piston pump. Linear approximation has been performed for nonlinear coefficient terms of an axial piston pump-regulator model without significantly affecting accuracy. Based on the mathematical model of an axial piston pump-regulator system, a couple of characteristic curves of negative flow control and horsepower control are drawn, which show a good correlation with those of experimental results. So the simplified axial piston pump-regulator model in this paper is expected to be utilized not only for the design and analysis of hydraulic circuit of excavator but also for prevention of engine overload.
