항공 영상 융합의 성능 향상을 위한 적응 가이디드 필터 (An Adaptive Guided Filter for Performance Improvement of Aviation Image Fusion)

  • 본 논문에서는 최적의 항공 영상 융합을 위하여 적응 가이디드 필터 기반 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 적응 가이디드 필터는 가이디드 필터 설계 요소 중에서 정규화 파라미터 값을 입력된 영상 특성에 따라서 조절하고 PSNR (peak signal to noise ratio)을 미리 정해둔 값으로 유지한다. 제안한 방법은 입력 영상의 특성에 관계없이 미리 정한 PSNR을 유지하는 범위 내에서 잡음을 제거하므로 최적의 영상 융합 성능의 결과를 가져올 수 있다. 필터 성능은 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였고, 기존에 많이 사용되고 있는 영상융합 품질 파라미터를 이용하여 분석하였다.

한반도의 지진재해도 작성연구 (A Study on Seismic Hazard Map of Korea)

  • It has knows that the seismicity of the Korean Peninsula is relatively inactive than those of adjacent northern China and southwestern Japan. Recently the review of long term historical records and recent seismicity. In addition, it is considered that the modern society is more vulnerable to seismic hazard because of high urbanization and industrialization. From this viewpoint, the improvement and modification of the present regulation for aseismic design is strongly proposed. The purpose of the present study is to prepare seismic hazard maps for Korea to be used in improving the present regulation. The present study was performed as a cooperative project of eight Korean seismologists. Each seismologist calculated independently seismic hazard value at the given grid points based on his own judgement about methodology and seismicity. Then the values are unified with equal weight to produce a seismic hazard map. Seven seismic hazard maps for peak acceleration with 10 percentile probability of exceedance in 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500 years are presented. This probability of exceedancd in such years corresponds to return period of 48, 95, 190, 475, 950, 2373, 4747 years, respectively. It is recommended to use a hazard map to be selected on the basis of the importance and the design level of structures.

디젤입자상물질 여과장치의 배기저감성능 효과 분석 (An Investigation of the Effect of Diesel Particulate Filter for Heavy-duty Diesel Engine on Emission Reduction)

  • Diesel PM can be controlled using Diesel Particulate Filter, which can effectively reduce the level of soot emissions to ambient background levels. In the Heavy Duty Diesel area, the Continuously Regeneration trap has been widely applied in the retrofit market. As the Special act for the improvement of air quality in the capital area, the retrofit program for DPF to used diesel vehicle has progressed favorably and there are currently over 1,000 of these DPF in use in retrofit applications in korea. These DPF comprise a specially formulated Diesel Oxidation Catalyst upstream of a DPF. The $NO_2$ generated by the DOC is used to combust the carbon collected in the DPF at low temperature. To certificate DPF device that is suitable to domestic circumstances, it is necessary to evaluate exactly the DPF devices according to the regulation of DPF certificate test procedure for retrofit(ministry of environment(MOE) announcement NO. 2005-16). To do so the understand of that regulation like the standard of PM reduction rate is needed. In this study the test procedure including test cycle and BPT test condition was examined and also the test result for specific DPF was analyzed. In every test like field test, PM reduction efficiency test and seoul-10 mode test, no defect could be showed.

무인비행장치 분류기준에 따른 조종 자격제도 비교 연구 (A comparative study on UAV pilot license by the classification criteria)

  • It is necessary to establish a UAV pilot license and training system because the number of UAV-related accidents has rapidly risen. Most of accidents are caused by the human factors such as the lack of control skill and aviation knowledge. In this paper, we investigate licensing policy of small UAV pilots and examine the level of UAV licensing system and classification criteria based on comparative analysis of national cases such as USA, UK and China. Recently, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Affairs is planning to improve the safety regulation by taking into account the risk level of the licensing system, which has been classified according to the existing weight and commercial purpose. From the comparative analysis, we suggested a improvement policy for UAV licensing system in the view of pilot license segmentation, beyond Visual Line-of-sight flight and high risk UAV for non-commercial.

  • As hydrogen is classified as an eco-friendly fuel, vehicles using hydrogen fuel are being developed worldwide. Vehicle fuel hydrogen is stored in cylinders at 70 MPa, so there is a high risk of explosion. Therefore, it is important to inspect hydrogen cylinders in used-vehicles. This study was conducted to improve the inspection method of the cylinders currently mounted on used-hydrogen buses. The inspection method is an image analysis method using a camera. Calcaulation algorithm was developed to quantitatively chech the amount of hydrogen leakage by the image method. As a result of adding a contact angle element to the calculation algorithm suggested by the GTR regulation and comparing it with the experimental data of the GTR regulation, the algorithm reliability was 94%, which secured similarity.

원자력 선박 적용을 위한 국내 원자력 안전규제 개선 및 적용방안에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Improvement and Application Plans of Korean Nuclear Safety Regulations for their Application on Nuclear powered ships)

  • As a global effort for eco-friendly, the ship building is making great efforts to develop ships using low-carbon, eco-friendly alternative fuels. Nuclear energy, one of several eco-friendly alternative energy sources, is evaluated as an effective alternative for future ships by minimizing carbon emissions and securing economic feasibility with low power generation cost. However, although appropriate regulatory requirements are necessary for commercialization of nuclear powered ships, there are currently no regulatory requirements for nuclear powered ships in Korea. In this study, accordingly, domestic and international regulatory requirements related to nuclear powered ships were reviewed, matters to be considered in terms of safety when developing domestic marine nuclear reactor regulatory requirements were derived, and a licensing regulatory system for nuclear powered ships was derived.This study is expected to be used as basic reference data when developing regulatory requirements for nuclear powered ships.

  • Recently, there has been scientific discussion on the utility of -omics techniques such as genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics within toxicological research and mechanism-based risk assessment. Toxicogenomics is a novel approach integrating the expression analysis of genes (genomic) or proteins (proteomic) with traditional toxicological methods. Since 1999, the toxicogenomic approach has been extensively applied for regulatory purposes in order to understand the potential toxic mechanisms that result from chemical compound exposures. Therefore, this article's purpose was to consider the utility of toxicogenomic profiles for improved risk assessment, explore the current limitations in applying toxicogenomics to regulation, and finally, to rationalize possible avenues to resolve some of the major challenges. Based on many recent works, the significant impact toxicogenomic techniques would have on human health risk assessment is better identification of toxicity pathways or mode-of-actions (MOAs). In addition, the application of toxicogenomics in risk assessment and regulation has proven to be cost effective in terms of screening unknown toxicants prior to more extensive and costly experimental evaluation. However, to maximize the utility of these techniques in regulation, researchers and regulators must resolve many parallel challenges with regard to data collection, integration, and interpretation. Furthermore, standard guidance has to be prepared for researchers and assessors on the scientifically appropriate use of toxicogenomic profiles in risk assessment. The National Institute of Toxicological Research (NITR) looks forward to an ongoing role as leader in addressing the challenges associated with the scientifically sound use of toxicogenomics data in risk assessment.

넘어짐(전도) 재해예방 안전기준 개정(안) 연구 (A study of improvement on safety regulation for slip, trip and fall prevention)

  • Slips and falls are associated with many occupational injuries in Korea. It is also estimated that slipping are major contributors to slip, trip and fall injury burden. So "LOCAL RULE ON OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDAR D" must be improved, especially article 3(prevention of slip, trip and fall). The primary purpose of the present study is to determine if, and to what extent, the standard could be improved in present environment. In order to fulfill our objective, the another regulation in Korea and foreign countries were investigated and reviewed. Many kind of standard, mandatory documents and guideline were also reviewed. And then, regulations, standard, guideline etc. reviewed were compared with each others. The article 3 was revised as below. 1. The floors of the traffic route in workplace shall have no hole or slope, or be uneven or slippery so as, in each case, to expose employees to slip, trip and fall risk, except if adequate measures have been taken to prevent a employees falling. 2. The employer shall design, install and fix the drain for effective drainage if fluid contaminants were frequently occurred. So far as is reasonably practicable, An employer shall keep the workplace clean, sanitary, and dry so that employees won't have any risk to tripping or slipping at the workplace. 3. To facilitate cleaning, every floor, workplace, and passageway shall be, so far as is reasonably practicable, kept free from protruding objects, splinters, holes, etc. Also, some criteria was developed in this study. Standard and criteria developed in this study will help to prevent slip, trip, and fall injuries.

금융보안 리스크 기반의 IT도급 정책 연구 (A Study on IT Outsourcing Policy Based on Operational Risks of Financial Industries)

  • 2011년 대형 금융 사고가 연달아 발생하자 정부는 인력, 조직, 예산을 포함한 전자금융감독 규정 전면 개정을 발표했다. 규정에 주요 내용은 전자금융거래법 대상 기업들은 전체 직원의 5%를 IT인력으로 채용하고, IT인력의 5%는 보안인력으로, 또 IT예산의 7%는 정보보호 예산으로 편성하게 하는 내용이었다. 본 연구는 전자금융감독 규정 전면 개정에 따른 금융보안 리스크 기반의 IT도급 정책 결정 방안에 대해 연구하였다. 외주인력 문제를 해결하기 위한 정책 결정 Flow를 제공하고 IT 업무 분류 시 프로그램 품질 향상을 위한 개선 방안과 사례 연구를 통해 외주 인력의 효율적 운영정책을 제시하고자 한다.

셀프-캐스코드 구조를 적용한 LDO 레귤레이터 설계 (Design of Low Dropout Regulator using self-cascode structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 셀프-캐스코드 구조를 이용한 LDO 레귤레이터를 제안하였다. 셀프-캐스코드 구조의 소스 측 MOSFET의 채널 길이를 조절하고, 드레인 측 MOSFET의 바디에 순방향 전압을 인가함으로써 최적화하였다. 오차 증폭기 입력 차동단의 셀프-캐스코드 구조는 높은 트랜스컨덕턴스를 가지도록, 출력단은 높은 출력 저항을 가지도록 최적화하였다. 제안 된 LDO 레귤레이터는 $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 사용하였고, SPECTERE를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 되었다. 제안 된 셀프-캐스코드 구조를 이용한 LDO 레귤레이터의 로드 레귤레이션은 0.03V/A로 기존 LDO의 0.29V/A보다 급격하게 개선되었다. 라인 레귤레이션은 2.23mV/V로 기존 회로보다 약 3배 향상되었다. 안정화 속도는 625ns로 기존 회로보다 346ns 개선되었다.
