This study identifies the effects of the perceived risk by adolescents on fashion brand conformity for peer groups. Perceived risk, self-esteem, and gender were adopted as variables in order to analyze conformable fashion brand behavior with peer group consideration. A quantitative survey used 672 questionnaires from male and female students between the ages of 14 and 18. The data were analyzed using factor analysis and regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, the dimensions of the brand conformity and perceived risk were revealed. The brand conformity dimensions were normative, informational, and identificational conformity. The perceived risk dimensions were socio-psychological, economic, exchange-refund, performance, management, and fashion risks. Second, fashion (+) and performance (-) risk significantly affected three types of brand conformity. In addition, socio-psychological and economic risk positively affected informational brand conformity. Third, there were more factors of perceived risk that affected brand conformity in the highly self-esteemed group and in the female adolescent group.

This study analyzes the comsumer complaints that are listed on bulletin board (or Q & A page) of mobile game sites in order to search for comsumer problems in the contents of mobile games. This analysis includes 3,664 cases of complaints on 17 mobile game sites. The finding indicates that they can be categorized into 10 types of complaints: game errors, how to play, game quality, game capacity, fee inquiry, excessive fees, lack of information, refund, unfulfilment of promises, game support. The problems with the game itself account for 54.8% of total complaints, and unsatisfaction from game fees and others take up 25.5% and 19.7% respectively. Therefore, we suggest that first, the quality of mobile games and consumer education be improved, second, information about game fees be provided to consumers more sufficiently in a proper manner, and lastly pertinent regulations on consumer damages compensation and adhesion contracts be established.
Like traditional commerce, disputes are bound to arise in the course of conducting an e-commerce transaction. At present of June 30, 2001, 259 cases of dispute on e-commerce have been applied for the mediation of Electronic Transaction Dispute Mediation Committee, types of them are 170 cases of delayed delivery of commodity, 21 cases of contract cancellation and refund, 16 cases of personal information protection, 16 cases of false and exaggerated advertisement, 14 cases of commodity defect. The settlement systems of e-commerce dispute are litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution(ADR). ADR encompasses mediation, arbitration, and similar private tools for resolving disputes. ADR offers many perceived advantages. Speed of resolution and low cost are often cited as the primary benefits. Therfore e-commerce disputes may be settled more effectively by litigation. The settlement systems of e-commerce dispute by ADR are the mediation of Electronic Transaction Dispute Mediation Committee, the mediation of Consumer Dispute Mediation Commercial Arbitration Board, and the arbitration of Korean Commerical Arbitration Board. E-commerce sets up the probability that its merchants and customers will not exist in the same legal jurisdictions. The confusing application of laws and wide geographical dispersion of these parties will necessitate a faster and cheaper dispute resolution methodology. Therefore, online ADR may be effective for e-commerce dispute resolution. The examples of online ADR opetation are the cyber mediation of Electronic Transaction Dispute Resolution Committee, the cyber mediation of Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, the cyber mediation of Click N Settle, the online ADR of BBB online, and the cyber arbitration of virtual Magistrate.
