In ubiquitous environment, various and amount of sensor data information occur continuously and periodically about thing and user from RHO, sensor network of various space. Such, the users from among many of provider who provide sensor service should find service that themselves is wanted. And when service use, service right to user should be provided. But in the current environment of the USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) Application Service, there is no the registry to find these services but only business- oriented UDDI(Universal Description Discovery, and integration). In addition, when service use, service right to user should be provided but current services provided only services one of the conditions or events. Therefore, rules-based processing system of service event that can provide service according various conditions and events is need. In this paper research into service registry for sensor service search with reference to existing UDDI and event processing system for USN application service with reference to event rule based on web service as WS-ECA(Web Service-Event Condition Action).

Results revealed useful information for planning and implementation.

The author discusses the nature and scope of archival reference service through the debate to user studies in the 1980s and the 1990s. Until the 1990s, archivists paid little attention to studying their user population. A new approach to archival user service led to the development of various public services of archives and resulted in active interaction with the public. Based on the discussion, the article examines the implication of archival reference service in Korean society.

Healthcare lifelog, a personal record relating to disease treatment and healthcare, plays an important role in healthcare paradigm shifts in which medical and information technology converge. Healthcare services based on various healthcare lifelogs are being launched domestically by both large corporations and small and medium enterprises, however, they are being built on an individual platform that is dependent on each company. Therefore, the terms of lifelog data are different as well as the measurement specifications are not uniform. This study proposes a reference model for minimum common data required for sharing and utilization of healthcare lifelog. Literature study and expert survey derived 3 domain, 17 essential items, and 51 sub-items. The model provides definition, measurement data format, measurement method, and precautions for each detailed measurement item, and provides necessary guidelines for data and service design and construction for healthcare service. This study has its significance as a basic research supporting the activation of ecosystem by ensuring interoperability of data between heterogeneous healthcare devices linked to digital healthcare platform.

To deal with a new environment of information technologies in the 21 Century, many libraries around the world have made great efforts to develop online knowledge-information services. In Korea, the National Library initiated an online knowledge-information services, in 2008. Through case studies and practical tests of online knowledge-information services, this article discusses plans for developing . The article explores definitions and types of online knowledge-information services, and analyzes online knowledge-information services in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Korea. Futhermore, practical reviews on the four services are conducted through 'question-answer' tests. As a result, the article discusses present and future tasks for improving .

It has been proved that information and communication technology (ICT) solutions for personalized health (PHealth) and ambient assisted living (AAL) can support people in their daily life activities. Several solutions have been demonstrated to empower different levels of services through seamless data acquisition and specific users' interaction modalities. Usually services usability and accessibility are handled in the design process and are validated with small users' groups. Moreover, while service design and systems development have been extensively described in literature, service deployment methodologies are not properly addressed and documented. Proper reference guidelines are also missing. The most common methodologies like unified process (UP) or ICONX can cover only the design and the development of PHealth services without a clear description on the following phases such as deployment, service provision and maintenance. These phases present several risks to be taken into account right from the beginning of the implementation of PHealth or AAL services. This paper focuses on the description of a structured methodology to deploy PHealth services and how this process can be supported by integrated software routines and adapting the UP framework in particular the "Transition phase."

In this study, educational service programs of archives have been reviewed through articles and case studies. As a result, five main educational services of archives were found. First, educational services are provided to K-12 students and teachers. Secondly, most educational services have focused on application of primary resources connected to current educational courses. Thirdly, cooperations among teachers, education experts, and archivists have been proceeded. Fourth, besides the direct instructions, printed materials and web based educational contents were also provided for students. Fifthly, utilization of primary resources were applied not only to history area, but also many subject areas such as social science, arts and humanities.

This study aims to estimate and calculate the ability to pay (ATP) and the willingness to pay (WTP) of households for wastewater management services (IPAL), the relationship between ATP and WTP, and factors that affect WTP. The location of IPAL construction is in the area of Lampung Province, Indonesia. There are 158 selected households for this study. The study employs a purposive sampling method in which the characteristics of households are classified into 3 categories - former households, newcomer households who had come to this area and have no experience of using water supply services, and newcomer households who have experience of using water supply services such as PDAM. The results of this study are, ATP and WTP values were not always in the same direction. The highest ATP was for newcomer households with experience of water supply services but the WTP was the lowest, on the contrary, the lowest ATP was for former households, but the WTP was the highest. Furthermore, experience and cognitive reference are positively correlated with WTP. Service quality perception, education/knowledge of respondents about environmental conservation, and level of income correlate with WTP.

This study aims to provide strategic recommendations for promoting the development of the global satellite data services industry by analyzing the startup landscape. Based on the analysis of startup data, such as number of startups, market segment, and funding amount, we examined the paradigm shift in the global satellite data services market, particularly its convergence with other market segments. To this end, we derived the cumulative funding-convergence dynamics matrix, which classifies the converging areas into four quadrants by considering the growth rate of converging segments and the cumulative funding amount. In this way, we can specify converging areas in the satellite data services market that bear potential importance for the creation of new markets. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the advancement of the satellite data services industry and facilitate the exploration of new market opportunities. Furthermore, they can serve as a valuable reference for policy makers, industry stakeholders, government officials, and researchers involved in the satellite data services industry in capitalizing on the emerging space economy.

With advances in video technology, many researchers are interested in video quality assessment to prove better performance of proposed algorithms. Since human visual system is too complex to be formulated exactly, many researches about video quality assessment are in progressing. No-reference video-quality assessment is suitable for various video streaming services, because of no requested additional data and network capacity to perform quality assessment. In this paper, we propose a novel no-reference video-quality assessment method with the estimation of dynamic range distortion. To measure the performance, we obtain mean opinion score (MOS) data by subject video quality test with the ITU-T P.910 Absolute Category Rating (ACR) method. And, we compare it with proposed algorithm using 363 video sequences. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has a higher correlation with obtained MOS.
