지하철 주변 지반진동의 전파경로가 진동레벨 감쇠에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Wave Propagation Path of Ground Vibration Induced by the Subway Train on the Reduction of Vibration Level)

  • 본 논문에서는 수치해석적인 기법을 이용하여 지하철 주변 지반의 진동레벨 감쇠에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 해석 결과 터널이 토사지반에 있을 경우 지반진동에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요소는 지반의 물성치로 나타났고, 암반에 있을 경우 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 암반의 물성치로 나타났다. 또한, 진동원과의 연직면에서 떨어져 있는 각도를 기준으로 영향범위를 산정한 결과, 대부분의 해석 결과에서 연직면에서 $30^{\circ}$ 이내에 있을 경우 진동레벨의 감쇠 현상은 크지 않은 것으로 판단되었고, $40^{\circ}$ 이상이 되면 진동레벨은 급격히 감소하는 경향이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • A type of electric propulsion employed by specialized purpose vessels or offshore is the azimuth thruster. Azimuth thruster application had been increasing recently and resulted to excellent vessel maneuverability. However, this system is very complex and some of its major component being exposed under the seawater level presents difficulty in sealing design. For Polar class icebreaker operating in extreme sea condition, this requires a high level of reliability and safety. In this study, the characteristics of lubricating orifice pipe structural vibration installed at the lower reduction gear were investigated and analyzed through beam analysis theory and comparison of experiments. Propeller excitation and the resonant modes of vibration causing excessive vibration and suitable countermeasures to prevent damage due to vibration fatigue on the pipe are presented.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the characteristics and quantity of the noise reduction by floor coverings. The characteristics on the reduction of the lightweight impact sound level by floor coverings is as follows. The insulation level attained by floor coverings tends to be smaller in actual buildings than in public laboratories. The reduction of the impact sound level to the tape is similar to the method of adhesives. For this reason, the reduction of impact sound level by floor coverings in public laboratories can be utilized to tape. And the reduction of impact sound level by floor coverings is not influenced by the size of specimen except the specific frequency.

  • In this paper the characteristics of vibration induced by subway trains running on track is discussed. The quantitative prediction of the vibration level and the countermeasure for reduction of necessary, is of importance for the better environment. It was made the constructed Bundang line as first step with the modified Young-Dan type to basis on the Japanese Young-Dan type. In this paper it was measured and analyzed to two region ($ \circled1$Susuh-Bokjung. $ \circled2$Chorim-Suhyun region) of this. at present, operational Bundang line when averaging velocity of train is 60 (km/h). As the response characteristics of frequency Induced by subway operation, it was confirmed that frequency band of neighborhood of 30~80 Hz in generally dominant. Also to assess the quantitative nitration as response level to be measured for each point of two region in subway operation, the vibrational response level was measured at the state to be not subway operation. And the level was approximately $\fraction one-fifth~\fraction one-ten$ level comparing to subway operation.

  • The 84m discharge line of moisture separator reheater(MSR) in Kori-2 had been suffered by excessive vibration from the beginning of power generation. In 1993, a complementary measure was taken to reduce the vibration level by adding several supports in the MSR pipeline. However, the piping vibration was beyond the allowable limit and an appropriate countermeasure was required to prevent the fatigue failure of the pipeline from the abnormal vibration. In this study, the vibrational characteristics of MSR pipeline and the countermeasure for abnormal vibration was investigated. Among the several vibration reduction methods, piping layout change by smoothing the pipeline was applied to the MSR pipeline in Kori-2. Applying the countermeasure, the vibration level was found to dramatically reduce from 17cm/sec to l.0cm/sec at the full-power operation condition.

  • In this article, the performances of acoustic enclosure with double resilient mount system which was designed by ADD to reduce the radiated noise by main noise source of ships, was tested and evaluated. From test results, it was verified that the acoustic performances of acoustic enclosure satisfied the requirements; vibration isolation level at 1st stage mount system of 15 ㏈ and airborne noise reduction level of 20 ㏈ in broad band.

  • Sound absorbing materials are applied to the exposed surfaces of curvet subway tunnel for the reduction of curving noise level. Before the treatment, acoustical engineering simulation is performed to predict the noise level reduction for different kinds and amounts of absorbing material. The principle of geometrical acoustics is utilized to perform the simulation efficiently and accurately. The noise bevels of the inside and outside of running car body are measured to find the noise level reduction. The average noise level reduction of 8 dB has been attained. It has been shown that the simulated results are comparable to the measured ones.

  • In this paper vibration reduction characteristics of floating floors used in railway vehicles are studied. Vibration reduction characteristics are compared through a series of tests for elastically-coupled floor and rigidly-coupled floor. It was found that elastically-coupled floor has larger vibration reduction amount than rigidly-coupled floor. Around the fundamental natural frequency, however, elastic floor has poor vibration reduction effect than rigid floor. Measures to reduce structure-borne noise are also discussed based on the test results. Structure-borne noise for running railway vehicles cannot be reduced by an effort to deviate resonance between natural frequency of floors and major exciting forces. Instead, reducing vibration level of top floor and using covers which have low sound radiation coefficient will be effective for reducing structure-borne noise.

  • In recent years, the piping vibration in many Power Plants is being increased by the aged generating facilities due to a long time use. Generally, the pressure fluctuations associated with the flow-induced excitations in this case are broadband in nature. Mainly, the dominant sources of vibration are a vortex-shedding, plane waves and boundary layer turbulence. The peak level of the spectrum is proportional to the dynamic head. A severe disturbance in pipeline results in the generation of intense broadband internal sound waves which can propagate through the piping system. The characteristic frequencies of operating loads of 20%, 57%, 70%, 100% are 4 - 6 Hz and coincide with the results from impact hammering test and FEM analysis. We chose the wire energy absorbing rope restraint as a vibration reduction method after reviewing the various conditions such as site, installing space and economic cost etc. After installation, the vibration level was reduced about 54% in velocity.

  • In this study, field measurements and analysis of vibration before and after the installation of continuously welded rail were performed. The vibration data obtained at the same locations before and after were analyzed to find out the characteristics of vibration level. The component of train-induced impulsive vibration at the rail joints varies depending upon the distance from the source, however mostly low frequency vibration which propagates long distance causes the problems of vibration. Even though it is expected that there may be certain degree of discrepancy in the amount of reduction in vibration depending upon site ground conditions, it was found that installation of continuously welded rail shows reduction in train-induced vibration.
