In the state that re-evaluation of calculating optimum amount of incineration in the future is needed, as considering the amount of waste, increase of heat value and change in floating population in each area in city B, the purpose of this research was to predict optimum available capacity in incineration plant and to study alternatives for the amount of disposal in each incineration plant based on the available capacity that was predicted. As a result of predicting the change in population based on progress of population in city B in the past, it is expected that an overall population is decreasing, but in some areas, population is concentrated due to increased apartment complexes, showing similar figures as the present. Moreover, when predicting the amount of waste through forecasting population, it is considered that the amount of waste by decreased population is also decreasing. However, the amount of combustible component among a total amount of waste is expected to increase, so it is predicted that the amount of incineration and combustible component will be reasonable except D incineration plant, Therefore, D incinerating plant showed 72.7% of rate of utilization of incineration facility compared to 59.1% of national rate. However, if shortfall of waste in the future can be used wisely in other areas, the use of renewable energy using burner useless heat can be maximized.

This study carried out on-site investigation and precision monitoring to prepare proper design and operation technical guidelines for the use of bio gas in organic waste resources (fertilizing urine, food waste, food waste, food waste, etc.). According to the government's mid- and long-term policy on bio gasification, the expansion of waste resources is actively being pushed forward. However, facilities that use the biogas produced for urban gas and transportation are still under-efficient. Precision monitoring was carried out for biogasification facilities of organic waste resources in seven locations nationwide. When the results of precision monitoring were summarized with the four-season average, the efficiency analysis of each organic waste resource showed that the organic breakdown rate was 66.3% on average on VS basis. Analysis of biogas characteristics before and after pretreatment revealed that the $H_2S$ average of the entire facility was measured at 949.7 ppm using iron salts and desulfurization (dry, wet) and that the quality refining facility shearing and rear end was 29.0 ppm and 0.3 ppm. The methane content was found to be reduced by 65.6% at the rear of the fire tank, 63.5% at the back and 97.5% at the rear.
Object: The purpose of this study was to select priority points for soil management using the location of groundwater and to suggest this method for soil contamination surveys. Method: Groundwater impact range was set to an area of 100 to 500 meters from the center point of agricultural groundwater wells. Data on industrial complex and factory areas, areas of stored or used ores and scrap metals, areas associated with waste and recycling, and traffic-related facilities areas were collected and checked for whether they fall within the groundwater impact range. Longitude and latitude coordinates of these data were mapped on the groundwater impact range using QGIS (Quantum Geographic Information System). Results: Considering the groundwater impact range, the points were selected as follows: 589 points were selected from 6,811 factories and 259 points were selected from 1,511 recycling business points. Traffic-related facility areas were divided between gas stations, bus depots, and auto mechanics. Thirty-four points were selected from 149 bus depots and 573 points were selected from 6,013 auto mechanic points. From the 2,409 gas station points, 323 were selected. Conclusion: Contaminated soil influences groundwater and crops, which can harm human health. However, soil pollution is not easily identified, so it is difficult to determine what has occurred. Pollution must be prevented beforehand and contaminated soil found. By selecting and investigating soil contamination survey points in consideration of the location of groundwater wells, we can safely manage water resources by preventing groundwater contamination in advance.

Korea's large-scale incinerating facilities of domestic waste were built in the late 1980's. It was found that most of the incinerators were designed during the period and even the ones constructed afterwards have been built without any changes or modifications. However, the nature of waste fed into incinerators is undergoing a radical change due to government policies on waste collection, which is upheld by a research into changes in the heating value of domestic wastes. As a result, refractories and stokers are being damaged in many of the facilities due to overheating. On the other hand, the formation of clinkers on boilers' heating surface, which curbs he at transfer, results in problems such as a fall in used heating value and a rise in the temperature of combustion chambers. Methods are being deployed to resolve the problems-such as spraying water on piles of waste, incinerating food waste by mixing together what has been separately collected, spraying water on combustion chambers, etc. Such actions are not a fundamental solution, nor redesigning and rebuilding incineration facilities is cost-effective. This research seeks to develop a fundamental solution to address the situation.

In this study, the physico-chemical characteristics of municipal solid waste (MWS) which was treated in gangwon area were investigated. It is necessary to measure the characteristics of municipal solid waste for build a waste treatment and RDF facility and for data-base and total managing of the landfill. It was found that the average density of solid wastes is in the range of $101.8{\sim}199.8kg/m^3$. This MSW was composed of 30.7% of food wastes, 36.3% of papers, 15.8% of plastics & vinyls, 1.9% of textiles, 3.2% of wood and 1.5% of rubber & leathers respectively. Most of MSW are composed of food, paper and plastic waste and the combustible waste is more than 90%. For three components, moisture is 44.6%, combustible component is 47.7% and ash is 7.7% respectively. The chemical elements are carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen on the dry basis of wastes. The low heating value of the MSW measured by calorimeter was obtained as 2,631 kcal/kg, and the high heating value of the MSW was obtained as 3,310 kcal/kg.

In this study, a thermal hydrolysis technology was used to treat the poultry carcasses that were killed due to Avian Influenza (AI) occurrence, as well as to determine the possibility of fueling for the resultant products. Experimental results showed that the poultry carcasses were liquefied except for sand, and showed the optimum efficiency at $190^{\circ}C$ and operating time of 60 minutes. It has been shown that liquid products obtained after thermal hydrolysis has good conditions for fuel conversion since it had high carbon contents and calorific value, as well as low ash content. In addition, it was possible to operate the thermal hydrolysis facility by using only the waste heat generated in the combustion without injecting the auxiliary fuel, and the exhaust gas generated in the combustion has a small influence on the atmosphere.

The economic issue of the period of return versus investment has emerged to efficiently utilize the thermal energy of public resource recovery facilities using waste and private thermal source facilities using BIO-SRF. Accordingly, the optimum temperature and pressure facilities are required beyond the traditional designed, constructed and operated. In this study, we analyzed current energy output by different heat and pressure model in domestic facilities, and calculated the characteristics of green-house gas emission. In order to, utilize the thermal energy producing facilities using waste and biomass fuel more efficiently, it is temperature and pressure, which will lead to more lucrative investment and return as well.

The aim of this study was to analyze food waste treatment cost and to estimate effect of by-product, such as wastewater and foreign materials, on amount cost. In cost analysis, man power and facility capacity are fixed, whereas operation cost, by-product treatment and et, al. are varied by treatment methods. The rate of by-product treatment cost in amount cost are between 5% and 39%. The methods which consume large electric power or generate much wastewater showed higher rate of by-product treatment cost in range of 14 to 39%. On the other hand, the methods which have simple process showed lower rate in range of 5 to 11%. Thus, this study recommend that by-products should be treated in sewage treatment facilities or landfill sites to prevent illegal disposal of by-products or to reduce burden of by-product from private sectors.
